Chapter 13: Who Allowed You to Have “Yu” in Your Nickname?

Monday morning, when Yu Shi arrived at the classroom, he sensed a subtle atmosphere.

Xie Ren lay on the desk dozing off. Zhao Yi turned his head to talk to the back row. Everyone was whispering, their expressions full of excitement.

Xu Bohan was puzzled. “Aren’t you guys used to the Simulated Battlefield? It’s just drawing lots. What’s the excitement?”

Zhao Yi and Ye Bingyang looked at each other, revealing mischievous grins. “A prominent figure is returning to school today. We’re waiting to watch the show.”

“Prominent figure… Han Po?” Xu Bohan’s eyes widened. “What gossip does he have? Hurry, tell us.”

Yu Shi coughed, signaling him to go up and call roll. Xu Bohan then returned to the podium.

Twenty minutes into the class, someone swaggered in from outside.

The class was in group discussion. When that person appeared, there was instant silence.

Yu Shi turned to look. A muscular Alpha stood at the door.

NDU’s requirement for hairstyles was above the ears. He had almost shaved it into a crew cut. His skin was dark, with single eyelids and a high nose bridge. His military uniform collar was open, radiating an aura that everyone owed him money.

Without saying a word, he walked toward the back row. Yu Shi called out his name: “Han Po, wait.”

Han Po turned around, looked him up and down, and revealed a playful expression. “Omega, looking for me?”

The tone was extremely rude. Everyone looked over.

Xie Ren yawned and lazily lifted his head.

“Rather than that title, you should address me as Instructor,” Yu Shi said. “Didn’t your parents teach you to knock before entering?”

Han Po’s face darkened. “I didn’t want to knock. So what?”

He showed a nasty expression and said deliberately, “Instructor called me to stop—could it be you’ve taken a fancy to me? Tsk tsk, just so happens my rut is approaching. For a tender-skinned Omega like you, I never have the heart to refuse. You can come find me after class.”

Gasps rang out in the classroom. Xu Bohan’s eyes nearly popped out, glaring at him deathly hard.

Xie Ren frowned, gradually waking up.

The next second, Yu Shi mocked, “Look in the mirror when you have time. I generally don’t go for types like you.”

Someone couldn’t hold back a laugh. Han Po’s eyes widened. He had been pampered since childhood, possessing an extremely conceited nature. He had never heard such rebellious words.

He immediately roared angrily, “What the fuck did you say? Say it again if you have the guts.”

Yu Shi said coldly, “First, I stopped you to tell you that you’ve been absent without cause for many days. Thirty points deducted from your participation grade. If you still want to pass, go to the Academic Affairs Office to make up your leave request. Second, you were late today plus disrupted the class. Another ten points deducted. Do not let it happen again.”

Han Po was laughed into a rage. “Are you speaking human language? Why can’t I understand? You must be new today, right? I broke my fucking leg and took leave—don’t you check the academic system? Fuck! Met an idiot on the first day back. Others can take leave for a broken arm, but you can’t see my broken leg?!”

The “broken arm” Xie Ren crossed his arms, irritability and disdain flashing across his face.

Xu Bohan whispered, “Huh? Did Master make a mistake?”

Qi Huan: “I remember he did ask for leave.”

Whispers erupted below. Yu Shi said unhurriedly, “Who approved your leave request?”

Everyone went quiet instantly. He raised his voice and asked, “Was it me, or the Principal?”

Han Po was about to explode, kicking over the desk next to him. “You’re picking trouble with me? I took sick leave, understand? If I come to class injured, can you take responsibility? Damn it, pissing me off…”

“Normal sick leave can naturally be approved.” Yu Shi pointed at his leg. “But you, a patient with a fracture, log twenty thousand steps a day on social media. Did you walk on your hands?”

Han Po froze, seemingly not expecting him to notice this.

The classroom went quiet again. Someone let out a muffled laugh, and then everyone burst out laughing.

“Dying of laughter, hahahaha. Did this bro forget to block him?”

“He didn’t even use crutches when he came back. Didn’t even try to act.”

“Instructor Yu is also a god, exposing him in public like that, hahahahahaha.”

“I knew he wouldn’t give Old Tang face. Sure enough, he didn’t disappoint. My stomach hurts from laughing.”

Yu Shi said leisurely, “Of course, if you can perform walking around the classroom on your hands, I can allow you not to make up the leave request.”

The roar of laughter grew louder. Everyone clutched their bellies laughing.

Han Po’s face turned liver-colored with rage. His fists trembled slightly as he glared at him furiously.

Seeing the situation go south, Qi Huan hurriedly said, “Student, find a seat first. Don’t disturb others’ class.”

Yu Shi was merciless. “Who told him to sit? Put down your bag and get out to stand as punishment.”

Han Po couldn’t hold it back anymore. Cursing a profanity, he rushed onto the podium in a few steps, grabbing at the work badge hanging on Yu Shi’s chest.

The classroom went into an uproar instantly, turning into a pot of porridge.

Just as he was about to touch Yu Shi’s collar, a white shadow cut through the air. Like a sharp arrow breaking through the void, it stabbed viciously into the back of his hand.

Han Po let out a miserable scream. A blood flower bloomed on the back of his hand. In the blink of an eye, a bloody hole had been pierced through his skin.

He roared while shaking his hand frantically. The object fell to the ground with a thud, rolling to the first row, where it was stepped on by a foot in a military boot.

It was a harmless stylus.

The bodyguards at the door rushed in, blocking the classroom entrance and going up to check Han Po’s hand.

Amidst the chaos, Xie Ren calmly bent down, picked up the bloody stylus, and met Yu Shi’s complex gaze.
