Chapter 15: If You Want to Say It, You Can Say It
The following time was spent with the Supreme Leader and the Major explaining the crucial matters of this field survival training.
For example, the danger level of the Urs Forest, how to use spiritual power to repel beasts, and for another example, how to send a signal for help if you feel you can’t go on.
This training was in groups of four, exactly one dormitory. After explaining the important matters, everyone was dismissed to go back and pack their luggage.
Ye Zhile followed Ye Zhichen’s instructions to bring the equipment one by one, and incidentally reminded Leng Xingtu.
“It’s cold at night, just bring one thick coat. If you bring too much, you won’t be able to run.” Ye Zhile said.
“Okay.” Leng Xingtu listened to him. “What else to bring?”
“Lighter, flashlight, water, food…” Ye Zhile read from his phone, and the two divided the labor to bring them.
Although it was a group of four, obviously Cheng Tingyan and Xie Ning were unwilling to be with them. Ye Zhile didn’t force it, so they just brought their own things.
Early the next morning, after assembly and headcount, everyone got on the bus.
They drove mightily towards the Urs Forest.
Ye Zhile and Leng Xingtu didn’t carry too many things on their backs, just a lot of food. Leng Xingtu lamented, “It’s good you asked your second brother; we saved half the effort.”
Ye Zhile smiled without speaking. His second brother was a veteran soldier, knowing these field survival skills like the back of his hand; it was a piece of cake.
“Second brother? I think it’s one of his lickspittles.” A sarcastic voice came from the side. Cheng Tingyan raised his chin, a look of arrogance. Seeing everyone looking over, he said, “Don’t you know? Student Ye Zhile is liked by many people.”
“So are you jealous of me?” Ye Zhile asked him good-naturedly. He smiled kindly. “Otherwise, I really can’t figure out a reason for you to spread rumors about me.”
Leng Xingtu beside him laughed out loud and chimed in, “Definitely. Ugly but thinks beautifully, afraid that others’ eyes won’t fall on him.”
Cheng Tingyan felt a burst of embarrassment. The laughing expressions of those Alphas made his anger suddenly focus on Ye Zhile. “What? You dare to do it but dare not admit it? Then why don’t you explain who the Alpha eating with you was, and who the man sending you back to the dorm was?”
All inquiring gazes suddenly returned to Ye Zhile, and there were even jeering sounds. Ye Zhile received malicious stares and wanted to shrink back, but Leng Xingtu held his hand, encouraging him.
Ye Zhile sat up and said softly, “I have no obligation to explain to you. You are nothing to me. Please don’t flatter yourself. Or, you are also willing to tell everyone about your privacy.”
“Hmph, I think you just don’t dare!” Cheng Tingyan was disdainful.
Ye Zhile flushed with anger. He scolded stiffly, “I’ve never seen someone as shameless as you.”
Cheng Tingyan stood up with a whoosh, pointing at Ye Zhile in exasperation. “You have the nerve to say I’m shameless! Don’t know who is shameless! Don’t know who it is! Trying to seduce the Lead… repeatedly and even climbed into someone’s bed!”
Cheng Tingyan paused in the middle, arousing the curiosity of the whole bus, asking who it was.
“I didn’t.” Ye Zhile said.
“If you didn’t, then explain!” Seeing he didn’t dare to explain, Cheng Tingyan thought he had guessed right, holding his arms triumphantly. “Dare to do but dare not admit, right? I saw it all.”
Ye Zhile buried his head without speaking, tears swirling in his eyes.
“Yo! Pretending to be pitiful now! Weren’t you quite tough just now!” Cheng Tingyan felt he had finally vented his anger. Just as he was about to proclaim loudly, the bus stopped at some point. A tall figure got on the bus, reaching straight to the roof of the bus.
“Lea… Chi-Chief Instructor…” Cheng Tingyan panicked instantly.
“Who did you say he seduced?” Ji Shuohan’s aura was powerful. As soon as he spoke, the people on the bus were as cowardly as quails, silent. Cheng Tingyan didn’t dare either.
“Spreading rumors about a classmate, deduct the quality credits for this semester.” After Ji Shuohan finished speaking, he said to Ye Zhile, “Get off.”
Ye Zhile followed Ji Shuohan off the bus. The Omega buried his head without speaking.
“Sorry.” Ji Shuohan said, “If you want to say it, you can say it.”
“No need.” Ye Zhile refused, with a thick nasal sound. He sniffed.
The Omega seemed to have suffered a great grievance. Ji Shuohan felt at a loss. “Sit in the same car with me.”
“No need.” Ye Zhile refused again.
Ji Shuohan could only use his trump card. “Your estrus period isn’t over yet; it’s safer to follow me.”
Ye Zhile looked up, his eyes moist, nose red. He thought for a while and nodded.
The Omega was not in high spirits. After getting in the car, he leaned against the window without speaking. Ji Shuohan had never been in love or coaxed an Omega in his life, and simply didn’t know what to do with such a Ye Zhile.
He could only release pheromones appropriately to soothe him. Ye Zhile was drowsy. During the several hours of driving, the road was a bit bumpy. Ji Shuohan gently moved the Omega’s head to his shoulder and sighed.
Omegas are really hard to handle.
Ye Zhile was originally leaning on his shoulder, but the sleeping Omega was restless. The shoulder was hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, so he lay directly into the Enigma’s arms. The Enigma didn’t dare move and held him like this for the whole journey.
Arriving at the destination, when Ye Zhile woke up, he found himself in Ji Shuohan’s arms. He crawled up quickly, his face flushed from sleep. Before getting out of the car, he said, “Thank you, Leader.”
Ye Zhile found the team to assemble. He ignored the gazes cast at him. He saw Leng Xingtu looking mysterious, squinting his eyes teasingly. He leaned into Ye Zhile’s ear and whispered, “I seem to have discovered a big secret.”
Ye Zhile pursed his lips and didn’t answer him.
“Enigma pheromones…” Leng Xingtu said slowly, “But in the whole school, only the Supreme Leader is an Enigma.”
Ye Zhile lowered his head. At this moment, Leng Xingtu pinched his cheek and said understandingly, “It doesn’t matter if you don’t want to say. I’ll know when the day comes that you want to tell me the secret.”
Ye Zhile looked at him with teary eyes. “Xingtu, you are so good.”
Leng Xingtu folded his arms and hooked his lips. “Don’t worship Brother too much.”
“You are super handsome~” Ye Zhile instantly turned into a little fanboy, starry eyes blinking.
Seeing the Omega’s mood improve again, Ji Shuohan actually breathed a sigh of relief. He moved his eyes away and walked to the front.
After the roll call, Ye Zhichen began to explain.
“Enter the Urs Forest, find the only exit, and you win. Those who haven’t left within three days fail.”
“During the training, if you can’t hold on, you can send a distress signal, and rescue personnel will come to take you away.”
“I hope everyone can protect themselves and enter and evacuate smoothly.”
