Part 2
The room’s night light was still on. Under the dim glow, the young man rubbed his eyes, turned his head, and saw Jiang Shulu getting dressed. Still not fully awake, he called out blankly, “Brother.”
“Why are you putting on clothes?”
[Is it my illusion, or is Tang Yue’s voice a little hoarse?] [The production team are Bodhisattvas! When these two get married, go plan their livestream too!] [Didn’t someone leak that this variety show was originally invested in by Tang Yue’s sister? I really suggest Jiang Shulu just become a matrilocal son-in-law.] [What ‘not putting on clothes’?! Damn it, don’t make my imagination run wild!]
Jiang Shulu: “Awake? Shall I go get Xiao Mie?”
Tang Yue let out an “Oh.” “I dreamed that Xiao Mie went home with me.”
Yao Lixin couldn’t stand this morning dialogue that sounded just like an old married couple, so he hung up.
The audience condemned him one after another. Yao Lixin shrugged and said to Tang Mian, “Xiao Mie, you come over with your dad later. Xuanyu and I will go ahead.”
Tang Mian was still nestled in Liu Xichao’s arms. The man wiped breadcrumbs from the child’s mouth. Tang Mian grabbed Liu Xichao’s hand: “What about Uncle Liu?”
Liu Xichao: “Of course, I’m going with Uncle Yao.”
Tang Mian said “Oh”: “Uncle Liu should have brought Granduncle along.”
Liu Xichao tried his best to ignore that elderly-sounding title. Stifling a laugh, he said, “Next time, you and Xuanyu can come to my house as guests, how about that?”
Tang Mian nodded, then went to find Tang Yue.
Before the finale, the production team had collected many suggestions from fans. Without hiding anything, they revealed there would be a small stage performance at the end.
However, they launched a song vote on the platform linked to the APP.
The production team hadn’t mentioned this to the guests yet, planning to make it a completely impromptu project.
Currently, the song leading by a landslide was Away‘s debut song, D/E. Many of the reasons cited high-frequency terms like “Youth Returning” and “Memories of Youth.”
The second and third songs also showed signs of breaking away from the rest.
The second song was Tang Yue’s solo track during his group days, Planet Debris. To this day, it still held the record for the highest first-day distribution in the idol sector. Even with raw data (stripping away bot inflation), it remained far ahead of second place.
The third song was the title track of the last album Away released the year they disbanded.
— Can’t they sing them all! What’s wrong with having a mini-live concert! — Damn it, I really want to hear Tang Yue sing. He only sang for a few minutes at the last stop, it wasn’t enough, boohoo! — So, will this stage keep the choreography or just be singing? No malice intended, but I feel like except for Yao Lixin, the other three are…
Tang Yue didn’t know about the production team’s song selection, but his studio knew in advance. While Jiang Shulu went to open the door for Tang Mian, Tang Yue turned on his phone to check his messages.
His manager, Sister Lin, said they would release the new song he requested today for the finale, and reminded him that his Weibo account would be managed by the studio in the future.
The text didn’t seem to scold Tang Yue for his romantic Weibo post; she just seriously asked if Tang Yue planned to separate his work account from his personal account.
Tang Yue frowned as he looked at his phone. He noticed Sister Lin mentioned Planet Debris again, asking if he wanted to prepare for it.
Since the others didn’t plan to enter the music industry anyway, the biggest boost from this live performance would be for Tang Yue.
Even though the team already understood Tang Yue’s terrifying professional ability, they were still a bit worried.
Tang Yue had just replied “It doesn’t matter” when he heard Tang Mian’s voice.
The little guy skipped in, saw his dad on the bed, and let out a “Wow.” “Xiao Yue, good afternoon!”
Tang Yue glanced at the time; it was almost eleven o’clock.
He pulled Tang Mian onto the bed and gave the child a big kiss. “Did Xiao Mie sleep well yesterday?”
Tang Mian: “I slept hugging the crooked-mouth bear Daddy Shulu gave me. It was very, very good!”
Jiang Shulu was brushing his teeth. Wearing loose pajamas, he leaned against the doorframe watching the father and son on the bed, his eyes smiling.
Tang Yue said “Oh.” “I have one too. Look.”
He fished up the crooked-mouth bear from beside his pillow.
Yesterday, Tang Yue and Jiang Shulu had been too intense, and the bear had fallen onto the floor. When Jiang Shulu carried Tang Yue to wash up, he almost stepped on it. The two of them laughed for a long time while showering.
The button on the little bear’s nose had fallen off.
Tang Mian poked it. “Did Dad hit him?”
Tang Yue: “I didn’t hit him, he hit him.”
He pointed at Jiang Shulu. The man had already gone to rinse his mouth.
Tang Yue: “See, he has a guilty conscience.”
Tang Mian leaned in closer to look at Tang Yue’s face. “Daddy, you look so happy.”
Tang Yue: “Do I?”
His lips were still numb even now, though his body felt okay.
That crazy lovemaking gave Tang Yue a joy that filled him from the inside out. He suddenly hugged Tang Mian and rubbed his cheek against the little boy’s face.
Tang Mian laughed from the rubbing. Tang Yue reached out to tickle Tang Mian’s tummy.
A child is still a child; he couldn’t withstand his own father’s teasing and went limp instantly, begging for mercy while shouting for Daddy.
Tang Yue: “I am your daddy. No one will save you no matter how much you shout.”
The pajamas he wore were a matching set with Jiang Shulu’s.
But wearing it, Tang Yue looked a bit small. The collar was loose, revealing the hickeys on his neck.
In the middle of the night, when Jiang Shulu held him to wash up, the beautiful young man was about to fall asleep but still grabbed Jiang Shulu’s hand to ask for praise.
He had no idea that acting like this was even more seductive. It made one want to use a bit more force, to make the drifting petals stay permanently, leaving marks of contamination on every inch.
Tang Yue, having spoken all his secrets, no longer hid his desires. Amidst the sound of water, he closed his eyes, his eyelashes wet and trembling just like his reactions.
Tang Yue enjoyed the warmth of being skin-to-skin with the person he liked. His voice carried the satisfaction that comes after exhaustion: “So, Shulu-ge, you have to be good with me often. You can go deeper… my soul will be captured by you. It’s… very comfortable.”
Jiang Shulu had never been with anyone else, so he didn’t know what other people’s love was like.
But hearing someone snuggled up to him say such things late at night felt like it was destroying the restraint and abstinence he had been raised with, making him sink completely into a sea of desire.
Jiang Shulu washed his face. Outside, Tang Mian had been wrapped in the duvet by Tang Yue on the bed, revealing only his head, yet he didn’t forget to resist Tang Yue—
“You are my Mama! Daddy Shulu is my Papa!”
Tang Yue: “I am Mama and also Papa!”
Tang Mian: “You are my most beloved Mommy!”
Tang Yue: “Even if you say that, I won’t untie you!”
Tang Mian: “Xiao Yue, you don’t love me anymore!! I want to find a younger brother to form a united front with me!”
Just then, Jiang Shulu walked out. Tang Mian shouted “Daddy” as if he had found a helper, looking at Jiang Shulu with puppy eyes to signal for help.
Jiang Shulu lived up to expectations and really reached out to rescue the little friend. He received a big hug from Tang Mian and a very loud kiss.
Although Jiang Shulu hadn’t had much contact with children this size, he knew not all kids were this clingy and affectionate. He asked, “Did Xiao Yue kiss you every day before?”
Tang Mian hummed “Mhm,” seemingly very troubled: “My dad—oh, my Xiao Yue Mommy just loves to kiss people, and likes to rub his face against mine. So clingy.”
The little guy occasionally exaggerated on purpose. Tang Yue retorted indignantly, “I don’t love kissing that much.”
Jiang Shulu: “Then you letting me kiss you is fake?”
Tang Mian let out a “Wow,” hugging Jiang Shulu’s neck while looking at Tang Yue.
Tang Yue: “Of course that’s not it!”
Tang Mian looked even more smug, lifting his chin. It made Tang Yue’s addiction flare up, and he leaned in to kiss him again.
