Chapter 50: Clingy — Nourished by Love part 1

The police were very efficient. They confirmed that Chen Zhixian was LG. Added to his previous criminal record of theft, he was currently detained. Getting the news from Jiang Yan, Jiang Yunian should have felt relieved, yet he felt everything went too smoothly, somewhat unreal.

“Ge thinks too highly of him,” Jiang Yan didn’t take it seriously, his fingers gently combing through Jiang Yunian’s hair. “He’s just a student who knows a bit of hacking tech; exposure was a matter of time.”

Seeing him still frowning, Jiang Yan turned his face straight and patted it: “Don’t think so much. It’s all over. From now on, Ge just needs to put his heart on me alone. I will settle everything for Ge.”

Jiang Yunian’s cheeks were squished, his mouth pouting out. “Okay.”

Since the person had been caught, he wouldn’t be getting out of the police station anytime soon. There was indeed no need to worry unnecessarily. Thinking this way, the doubt in Jiang Yunian’s heart gradually dissipated.

“Let’s go.” Jiang Yan lowered his hand, palm facing up. “Go home and cook something delicious for Ge.”

Jiang Yunian looked at that hand with distinct knuckles, slender and powerful. When wrapped in that palm, it was full of a sense of security. His heart moved, and he gently placed his hand on it. Jiang Yan immediately closed his fingers, interlocking them with his.

The sky had darkened at some point, and a drizzling rain fell. Pedestrians on the road were few, involuntarily quickening their pace. The two only brought a single-person umbrella. Jiang Yan held the umbrella in one hand and tightly led Jiang Yunian into the rain curtain with the other. The umbrella surface quietly tilted to the right; Jiang Yan’s left shoulder inevitably got a small patch wet.

Jiang Yunian noticed and quietly snuggled closer, wanting him to get wet less. Jiang Yan misunderstood that he was getting rained on, so the umbrella tilted even more to the right until most of his body was exposed to the rain.

“The umbrella is crooked.” Jiang Yunian couldn’t help raising his hand to push the umbrella straight but was stopped by the other party grabbing his wrist. Jiang Yan’s voice mixed with the sound of rain, gentle and affectionate, “Move any more and you’ll get wet.”

“But you’ll catch a cold like this…”

“Then switch to a way that won’t catch a cold.” Jiang Yan took off his jacket with one hand, draped it over both their heads, propping up a small world under the hem of the clothes.

“Don’t…” Jiang Yunian looked around nervously. “People are watching.”

The rain fell harder and harder, washing over the streets and blurring the figures of pedestrians. The world was left with only the two of them.

In the torrential rain, the two squeezed under the umbrella. One shrank inside the warm jacket; the other raised a hand to wipe away the rain filaments drifting onto his face with a sleeve. The wiping motion became slower and slower, finally stopping with a thumb on his lips.

The sound of rain was noisy, but each other’s breathing was clearer. Until the umbrella suddenly tilted, completely cutting off the view from the outside world.

“Now no one can see.”

The umbrella surface firmly shrouded the two in a small space. Jiang Yan lowered his head and pursed those soft lips in his mouth. Jiang Yunian froze, then closed his eyes, responding jerkily to the kiss. The tips of their tongues tangled carefully, carrying the fresh scent of rain water.

The heavy rain came fiercely and left hurriedly. By the time they reached the residential compound, the rain was obviously much lighter, but neither had any intention of putting down the umbrella.

Auntie Wang was playing with Little Liu by the door. Seeing the brothers hugging together to hide from the rain, she smiled and said, “The brothers have such a good relationship.”

Little Liu couldn’t understand why the two older brothers still had to hug when they had an umbrella. He just giggled foolishly, following his grandma to say in a milky voice: “Relationship good, relationship good…”

Jiang Yan’s lip corner hooked slightly. Jiang Yunian, however, had red ear tips and quietly let go of his hand.

As soon as they entered the door, Jiang Yan changed his tune. They agreed to go home and make good food, but the moment the door closed, he pressed him against the door for a fierce kissing session. Like a clingy big dog, he kissed him until his legs were weak and he couldn’t stand steadily, then picked him up and walked toward the bathroom.

The rain just now was too heavy, so they inevitably got wet. Jiang Yunian was carefully protected and only got a little drizzle on him, but Jiang Yan was soaked through most of his body. Jiang Yan pressed him against the bathroom tile wall to kiss him.

Jiang Yunian had no strength all over. He struggled to break free from his mouth and glared at him softly. It had no deterrent force; instead, it made the other party’s mind wander.

Seeing his gaze wasn’t right, Jiang Yunian hurriedly stopped him. Although they were already together, he still couldn’t quite adapt to the many changes brought by this relationship, such as Jiang Yan’s blatant hints.

He turned his face away: “Aren’t you going to shower? Go back to your room to wash.”

Jiang Yan let out a low laugh from his throat, thinking he was naive. On what basis did he think he would obediently let him go? In his good brother’s eyes, was he some upright gentleman?

He spouted nonsense without changing his expression, saying there was no hot water in his room.

“Then you go first.” Jiang Yunian tried to slip away from his arms but was pinned down by him, imprisoned in front of him.

“You’ll catch a cold if you got rained on. Let’s do it together.” Jiang Yan issued an invitation pretentiously. If it weren’t for his hands being dishonest, Jiang Yunian would have really believed it. It was a pity his resistance was never effective.

Jiang Yan loosened his hold on him. Jiang Yunian lost his support, his knees went soft, and he slid to the floor, presenting a W-sitting posture (duck sitting). Jiang Yan smiled intimately. Jiang Yunian looked up with a beautiful, pure face, looking at him timidly, his eyes revealing pitiable emotion.

Jiang Yan looked into his eyes from above, his throat rolling unconsciously. Then he bent down slowly, easily scooped the person up, and continued kissing him.

As for what happened later, Jiang Yunian had no impression at all.

A long, long time passed, long enough for his stomach to growl in protest. Jiang Yan carried the still-dazed person out and put him into the bedding. He turned to find him a set of warm clothes, telling him to put them on himself when he recovered his energy.

Jiang Yunian heard instructions popping out one by one. He nestled in the covers in a daze and digested them for a long time before nodding.

“Need help?” Jiang Yan was a bit worried.

Jiang Yunian shook his head hurriedly. He still had to eat later; he didn’t want to end up unable to eat too. He said, “I can dress myself, don’t need you to teach.”

Jiang Yan suddenly smiled, pinched the soft flesh on his face, thinking he was incredibly obedient, and planted a rewarding kiss on his face.

“So good.”

Jiang Yunian frowned his delicate brows, revealing slight dissatisfaction with his tone of coaxing a child. Why did it feel like he was the younger brother, completely suppressed by him? The most excessive part was that he couldn’t even resist!

He emphasized: “I am your Ge.”

“Mn, you are,” Jiang Yan perfunctorily said, dragging out his tone in his ear: “My Good Brother.”

Eugh…

Jiang Yunian got goosebumps all over. Who did he learn this from? Calling him like a paramour.

He annoyedly shooed him out to prepare dinner. After being absurd for so long, his stomach was flat from hunger.

After the person left, Jiang Yunian patted his face, not knowing if it was flushed from the steam or made red by someone, trying to sober himself up. Then he grabbed the most cute pajamas with cartoon kittens printed on them—which someone had specifically chosen from the few sets available—and put them on with soft hands and feet.

After dinner, the two nestled on the sofa to watch TV as usual. Unlike the sneakiness of the past, someone who now had a title acted like a self-taught master of love, directly lifting him onto his lap for open snuggling, making Jiang Yunian afraid to move, unable to concentrate on the TV.

Before, Jiang Yan would stare at idol dramas unable to walk away; now he was just staring at him. If he wasn’t paying attention, he would be taken advantage of (touched inappropriately). He was impossibly clingy.
