Chapter 27: I’ll Make You Get Out of School Tomorrow!
Teacher Liu Yang was explaining everyone’s roles. Lu Xingyan played the bully, and the head bully boss at that! Leng Xingtu was a bystander who witnessed all the bullying scenes, but due to the coercion of the other party’s power, dared not inform and had to suffer the condemnation of conscience.
Lu Xingyan and Ye Zhile’s characters were nothing special. The exciting part was how someone with Leng Xingtu’s personality would act out that cowardly spinelessness.
Roughly going through the script two or three times, Teacher Liu Yang asked them to start memorizing lines.
As the protagonist, but due to the character setting, Ye Zhile had few lines, mostly acting.
Ye Zhile finished memorizing his lines here. Just as he was about to yawn, a sarcastic voice came over again. “You should be very proud, right?”
“…” Ye Zhile was completely speechless. He turned to look at Cheng Tingyan. “What exactly do you want to do? If you don’t like me, don’t talk to me. Isn’t this asking for suffering?”
Ye Zhile was huffing with anger. He turned his head back to calm down, but at this moment Cheng Tingyan shouted loudly, “Ye Zhile!”
Ye Zhile was scared so much his heart twitched violently, and the script fell to the ground. He turned his head in shock, seeing Cheng Tingyan’s eyes widened with anger.
“Are… do you have mental problems?” Ye Zhile was truly confused with this sentence, not mocking, because he really couldn’t figure it out. He hadn’t provoked anyone, so why shout at him inexplicably?
Cheng Tingyan raised his hand to hit him but was grabbed by the arm and thrown aside. Lu Xingyan blocked in front of Ye Zhile, questioning coldly, “What do you want to do?”
Cheng Tingyan gave a hmph laugh. “Ye Zhile, you are really something. Someone protects you everywhere.”
“You are that student who finds him unpleasant?” Lu Xingyan stared at him. Cheng Tingyan was fearless. “So what if I am? You guys are just blind, liking this kind who sleeps around but pretends to be noble… What are you doing!”
“Say that again?” Lu Xingyan grabbed Cheng Tingyan’s collar. “I don’t hit Omegas, but for trash like you, I don’t mind hitting one once.”
“You, you dare!” Cheng Tingyan gritted his teeth. “Do you know who my dad is? Try hitting me, I guarantee you will definitely roll out of this school tomorrow!”
“Brother Xingyan!” Ye Zhile pried his hand open. He pushed Cheng Tingyan hard. Cheng Tingyan was unprepared and pushed to the ground by him. He was full of disbelief. “You dare to push me!?”
Ye Zhile’s heart pounded, panicking terribly. “I-I don’t care who you are. If your mouth isn’t clean again! I’ll make you roll out of school tomorrow!”
Cheng Tingyan seemed to have heard a joke. “Just you? Want to make me roll out of school? Haha… laughing to death.”
Ye Zhile said nothing. If Cheng Tingyan continued like this, he wouldn’t mind using his family connections once. No need to alarm Dad and Father; just his Second Brother would be enough. Only, if Dad and Father knew, would he be lectured by Father?
Since childhood, his Father told him not to bully others and not to swagger through the market with his family’s status. Including Dad, he had to be humble and low-key. The more preferential treatment and attention he received, the harder his safety would be to guarantee. So whenever others asked what Ye Zhile’s parents did, he said teachers…
“He can’t, but I can.” Leng Xingtu walked over slowly, looking at Cheng Tingyan with contempt. “Expelling a student, for the Royal Family, isn’t it as simple as pinching an ant to death?”
As soon as Leng Xingtu spoke, no one present dared to answer. Cheng Tingyan didn’t dare let out a fart. Leng Xingtu sneered. “Coward, only daring to bully the weak. Tell me, what’s the difference between you and the bully in the play?”
Everyone’s eyes gathered on Cheng Tingyan, full of disdain.
“Exactly, what’s the difference between the bully he plays and him?”
“This is probably playing himself.”
“Tsk tsk, seeing someone powerful and turning cowardly.”
“What are you doing!” Teacher Liu Yang walked over. “What’s going on?”
No one dared to answer. Cheng Tingyan stood up. He glared at Ye Zhile. “Let’s see how long you can pretend.”
“Cheng Tingyan!” Teacher Liu Yang kept a straight face. “If you don’t want to participate, you can forfeit.”
Cheng Tingyan left.
Ye Zhile lay on Leng Xingtu. He muttered, “I get nervous as soon as I argue; blood rushes up all over my body.”
Leng Xingtu comforted him. “Once you have experience arguing, it’ll be fine.”
Ye Zhile had a mournful face. “Better not. Let’s live in peace.”
“If his mouth isn’t clean again, tell me,” Lu Xingyan said.
Ye Zhile gave a furious hmph. “If his mouth isn’t clean again! I won’t let him off either.”
Rehearsal lasted until ten o’clock before dismissing. Ye Zhile and Leng Xingtu were tired enough to hum. After showering, they climbed into bed. Ye Zhile was just about to close the curtains when he glimpsed Cheng Tingyan’s resentful eyes below. He pulled them shut with a swish.
Ye Zhile fell asleep shortly after lying in bed.
No classes the next day. Ye Zhile and Leng Xingtu slept until noon to get up. The two went to the cafeteria to eat, but for some reason, Ye Zhile felt a lot of gazes gathering on him today.
Ye Zhile looked down at himself and asked Leng Xingtu, “Am I dressed strangely?”
Leng Xingtu also looked seriously. “Not strange. Isn’t this a sunny beautiful youth?”
“Then why are they all looking at me?” The two walked to the window to order the buffet.
Ye Zhile was on pins and needles. When he looked over, those people quickly turned their heads.
“Is the one on the forum him?”
“It’s him! Journalism freshman, was popular for a while during military training.”
“My god, didn’t expect him to do such things.”
Ye Zhile’s heart skipped a beat. He quickly took out his phone and logged into the campus network forum. A striking post floated on top — ‘Journalism freshman is two-faced, innocent appearance but actually plays that wild’?
Ye Zhile clicked in. The homepage was photos secretly taken of him: photos of Brother Xingyan touching his forehead while eating in the cafeteria, photos of My Lord carrying him back to the dorm when he had a fever, and one of his Second Brother sending him back to the dorm.
The comments below were even uglier.
[Wtf! So explosive! Even carried back to the dorm by the Supreme Leader? Crazy!]
[Too awesome! And back to the Supreme Leader’s own dorm! Oh my, really knows how to play!]
[My god, he was my roommate’s dream O. Haha… image crumbled now…]
[Sure enough, the more innocent they look, the wilder they play.]
[So that’s how it is. Those good-looking ones really know how to use their advantages.]
[How did he do it… admire!]
[So slutty! Doesn’t play 4p, does he? Haha…]
Ye Zhile was so scared his phone fell on the table with a clang. A wave of nausea and revulsion hit him, and he couldn’t help turning his head to dry retch.
“Lele!” Leng Xingtu quickly sat over. While patting Ye Zhile’s back, he took his phone to look, cursing angrily, “Which big idiot posted this?!”
Ye Zhile couldn’t vomit, but his stomach twisted in pain, and tears fell. Feeling those gazes landing on him like needles, he stood up. “Let’s, let’s go.”
“Okay.” Leng Xingtu held his arm.
“He left. This is a guilty conscience.”
“Scared now.”
Feeling the person in his arms tremble, Leng Xingtu comforted him, “Don’t be afraid, Lele.”
Supreme Leader’s Ministry ————
Wei Xichu stood in the Leader’s office. “Report to My Lord! Something to report to you!”
“Enter.”
The man in the office was looking solemnly at the red dot on the monitor. Wei Xichu walked over and handed him a document. “This is information regarding you detected by the Data Department on the Imperial Star University forum just now, related to Young Master Ye.”
Ji Shuohan recovered his senses and looked up. “Related to Ye Zhile?”
“Yes.”
