Chapter 45: Pure Virgin part 1
Like a puppy returning with a ball, proudly seeking credit from its owner.
Leon lowered his chin slightly, his body leaning towards Wen Rong.
Warm air puffed against his face, feeling like speeding in a convertible on the grass—exhilarating yet uncomfortable.
Realizing this was the air that had circulated within Wen Rong’s body, his heart beat extremely fast, and he swallowed uncontrollably.
His chest and abdomen experienced a long, slow expansion. A weird numbness crawled from his heart to his brain, and Leon entered a complete state of dizziness.
“Wen Rong.” The ending note trembled lightly. Leon pursed his lips to moisten his throat before parting them with difficulty again. “Do you know what to do after building a family?”
“What else needs to be done?”
The handsome face lifted. The night was too dark to see the expression clearly, but Leon guessed it was “confusion.”
However, this time he was even more excited, losing control and burying his chin lower until the slight sensation of hair friction reached his scalp.
“You have a good memory. You should remember how Evelyn and Jiang Zhiyue kissed.”
“…”
“Recalling it now, do you still feel shocked?”
Wen Rong nodded honestly. His head bumped Leon’s forehead, and he apologized hurriedly, leaning back.
Leon lowered his head, his spine pulling his back to the seat. “Since you want to build a family, learn how to kiss properly. This kind of thing is usually initiated by the boy.”
Wen Rong’s figure shook. “Must… must I learn?”
“Yes.”
“How… to learn.”
“Watch videos, of course. Did you want Senior to teach you?”
“I, I I I—”
Wen Rong, a pure virgin, had no ability to counterattack in front of someone like Leon who spoke dirty words freely. He stammered for ages without saying a complete word. Leon had already prepared his speech. “Seeing how clumsy you are, you definitely can’t find videos either. Want Senior to share some with you?”
“Must I really learn?”
“Food and sex are normal desires of adults. Otherwise, where did you come from?”
“Then Senior, you also—”
Smack.
A palm slapped Wen Rong’s head again. The car window lowered with a whir, wind blowing in, dispersing all confusion and desire.
Leon pointed his chin outside. “Senior is a common mortal too. So I’ll send it to you when I get back to the dorm later. Go.”
“Oh, oh.”
Wen Rong got out of the car rubbing his head, as if he hadn’t felt the ambiguity of that moment at all, and walked frankly into the dormitory gate.
Leon loosened his tie, the heat all over his body carried away wave by wave by the wind.
Wen Rong’s shadow could no longer be seen downstairs. The light in his dorm window turned on. Leon intended to restart the car but glimpsed Wen Rong standing by the window out of the corner of his eye.
Couldn’t see the face, but Leon narcissistically thought Wen Rong was watching this car, and himself inside it.
Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz.
His electronic watch vibrated, alerting him to a high heart rate.
Leon’s arm tingled, realizing with a start that Wen Rong wasn’t the puppy; the one whose emotions were being tugged was clearly himself.
Watching the Senior’s car drive away and waiting until the Senior walked back to the opposite dorm building, Wen Rong finally sat down and opened his laptop to write an apology letter to Zhang Lin—admitting his mistake, recounting the new knowledge learned today, and stating he wouldn’t commit it again.
There was no reply. Wen Rong was a bit anxious and wanted to send another message, but the System stopped him.
[No need to ask again.]
Wen Rong withdrew his two index fingers. “What if the Senior doesn’t forgive me?”
[That just means your relationship wasn’t very good.]
He felt sad in his heart. “I still wanted to be friends with the Senior.”
The System knew the Host made friends for the first time and cherished them especially, but the System had experienced various scripts. Experience told it that friends either died or backstabbed; they couldn’t satisfy the Host’s emotional needs.
While considering how to tell him, the laptop chimed.
Wen Rong showed joy and hurriedly opened Black Pigeon.
But the message was from Senior Leon.
The raised corners of his mouth fell slowly, head drooping in front of the screen.
The System couldn’t speak the truth anymore and advised, [He should be showering at this time. He’ll reply when he sees it.]
“Mm-hm, maybe showering.” Wen Rong patted his cheeks and exhaled. “It’s fine, it’s fine. Senior Zhang Lin is a good person; he will definitely forgive me.”
Having coaxed himself, he pressed two fingers on his temples and circled them instantly. “Forget this matter first. Senior Zhang Lin is very important, Senior Leon is also very important. Since Senior Zhang Lin hasn’t replied, focus on Senior Leon’s matter first.”
The System was curious about what effect this self-deceptive spellcasting would have when Wen Rong opened his eyes, clear and bright.
“The current mission is to build a family and learn to kiss.”

System: Do you know you’ve been led astray?!
The System was certain Leon had bad intentions and planned to tell its pure and innocent Host.
Wen Rong clicked lightly on the file Leon sent. A video pop-up jumped out in Black Pigeon. In this private space belonging only to Wen Rong, sounds of friction mixed with water suddenly rang out.
Sticky and wet, like muddy water entering a courtyard and being driven out bit by bit with a mop.
Wen Rong turned into a block of wood, sitting straight in front of the computer, his glasses reflecting the image of two men pressed tightly together.
[Host, close the window.]
He shot up, rushing to the window with same-side limbs moving together to close it. His hands tightly grasped the edges of the curtains, completely hiding the unsightly things inside the dorm.
The sound of water continued, mixed with heavy, clear breathing.
Wen Rong inexplicably thought of Senior Leon. There was such breathing in the car just now, exhaling distinctly, gas rushing against the front teeth.
He thought it was because it was too late and the surroundings were quiet.
But the entangled bodies on the screen led his thoughts astray. Looking closely, those two were also in a car, and one of them had golden hair.
A flush instantly drilled out from his collar, spreading to his cheeks. Wen Rong’s hairs stood on end.
“Bro… Brother… can’t hear downstairs, right?”
[Mm.]
“Couldn’t hear outside just now either, right?”
[Mm.]
Shame diminished slightly. Wen Rong slapped his face hard and returned to the computer. “I’ll pause learning this for now.”
[Mm-hm, mm-hm, mm-hm, mm-hm.]
The last time he saw something this explicit was in biology class discussing human organs.
Jumping from textbooks to practice all at once was too big a span; he couldn’t accept it for a while.
After turning off the computer, Wen Rong sat dazed in front of it for nearly ten minutes. A war between heaven and man raged in his brain, clothes flying everywhere.
His porcelain-white skin dyed translucent red, almost burning up.
[Host?]
Wen Rong shot up. “I I I I, I’m going to shower.”
[Mm.]
Warm water fell from overhead. His hair, having grown some length, stuck to his eyelids. When Wen Rong blinked, his eyeballs were swept by the fuzzy hair ends, itching a bit.
He raised his hand to wipe his face vigorously.
Strange. Because facilities at the welfare institute were poor, he had always enjoyed the dorm shower especially—lots of water, could wash for a long time, and no bad smell in the bathroom.
But today, for some reason, his mood wasn’t good, and his brain was still full of messy things.
Water droplets swept his back skin steaming hot, his neck bright red.
Wen Rong turned around, wanting to “scald the other side.” The dense water droplets suddenly hit a spot, causing a spasm all over his body and heat to surge.
He was startled and hurriedly turned off the water.
He knew what this was. He was a normal boy. But this time was different. The presence of the desire he had never paid attention to was especially obvious, like something dead for over ten years suddenly reanimating, turning into a zombie, hard and stiff.
Wen Rong covered his eyes, constantly telling himself biology said this was a normal phenomenon, normal phenomenon…
But his brain with good memory kept repeating the images that appeared on the computer screen just now.
Click.
Click.
Click.
Lights in the whole building turned off one by one. The sounds wandered clearly in the bathroom.
Every click made Wen Rong’s eyelids tremble. Finally, he opened his eyes helplessly. “Brother…”

“Brother, are you there?”
[…] Dare not say I’m here.
“Brother? Are you there or not?”
[Host, actually this is normal. You are an adult too…]
“Brother, can you turn off for a little while.”
[Turn off?]
“Just turn off like a laptop.” Paused. “Temporarily don’t watch me, okay?”
[…]
“D-doesn’t have this function?”
Wen Rong was red through and through. Reaching out to grab a towel to wrap around his waist and walk out of the bathroom, the System thought twice and answered: [Yes. Host just needs to give me the command to hibernate temporarily. You determine a time yourself. After the time passes, I will reconnect with you.]
“Brother, you hibernate temporarily for one hour… probably.”
[Hibernation initiated. Duration: 60 minutes.]
