Running Away Again? Dragged Back for Forced Love Until He Behaves Chapter 6

Chapter 6: A Killing Spree

Shen Yanzhou’s mood seemed to improve.

“I’ll waive the punishment this time,” he said, closely observing the expression on Lin Yuan’s small face.

seeing that Lin Yuan finally let out a sigh of relief and looked a bit better, Shen Yanzhou continued.

“Tell me, how did you take down my four bodyguards? Tell the truth.” He wrapped his arm around Lin Yuan’s soft waist, stroking it gently.

The touch made Lin Yuan ticklish and stirred an inexplicable restlessness within him.

Suppressing the urge to bite the man to death, Lin Yuan said, “I learned the Art of Ghost Manipulation from my Master.”

He didn’t dare lie.

He knew his lies weren’t enough to fool this old fox.

Shen Yanzhou didn’t seem particularly surprised.

“Oh? How does it work?”

Lin Yuan extended his hand. “Just pinch a spell and form a hand seal.”

His hands were fair and appeared somewhat small and delicate.

Shen Yanzhou nodded, holding Lin Yuan’s hand and rubbing it gently.

His tone was even. “In the future, you are not allowed to use your sorcery against the people I send to watch you. Understood?”

Lin Yuan looked at Shen Yanzhou with eyes full of dissatisfaction.

Shen Yanzhou raised his brow slightly. “Is that hard to understand?”

Lin Yuan grit his teeth secretly.

Master taught him ghost manipulation for self-defense.

And now this man was telling him he wasn’t allowed to use it?

However, he still pretended to be obedient and nodded. “Understood.”

Seeing him slowly becoming obedient, a smile tugged at the corner of Shen Yanzhou’s lips.

He gently ruffled Lin Yuan’s curly hair.

“Rest here today and recover. Someone will deliver all three meals. I’ll come over tonight and bring you a small gift.”

After speaking, he lifted Lin Yuan off his lap and stood up.

He returned the small cloth bag containing the Five Emperor Coins and the divination books to him.

“If you’re bored, read your books or cast a hexagram. Be good.” He gently touched Lin Yuan’s cheek, then lowered his head to place a kiss on his forehead.

Shen Yanzhou left the room, but he didn’t get on the elevator. Instead, he opened the door to the adjacent room.

He walked into the bathroom.

Lin Yuan’s kiss just now had intoxicated him, but it also made him uncomfortable.

But he knew the boy’s injuries wouldn’t heal in a moment. If he forced himself on him now, Lin Yuan definitely wouldn’t be able to take it.

So, he had to resolve it himself.

When Shen Yanzhou finally left, he looked at the four bodyguards in black standing at the door of the room.

“Watch him closely,” he ordered.

The four bodyguards nodded in unison. “Yes, President Shen!”

Shen Yanzhou straightened his suit collar, went downstairs to the garage, and drove off.

He drove onto the road, heading toward the Hetong Nursing Home in the suburbs of the Imperial City.

Old Master Shen, the former president of the Shen Group and Shen Yanzhou’s grandfather, lived there.

The car sped along.

Unlike previous visits, Shen Yanzhou was in a good mood today.

He knew it was because of Lin Yuan.

Thinking of that little brat, he licked his lips; it felt as if the boy’s scent still lingered there.

Unknowingly, his brows relaxed.

Half an hour later, the luxury car drove into the gates of the nursing home.

This club was also a property under the Shen Group.

The director didn’t know Shen Yanzhou was coming today.

It wasn’t his usual day to visit.

Seeing his car drive in, the director hurriedly ran down to welcome him.

Running up to the car, the director bowed. “President Shen, you’re here!”

Shen Yanzhou got out of the car and nodded slightly.

“The Old Master is doing very well, please rest assured, President Shen!”

Shen Yanzhou didn’t speak and walked straight toward the lobby.

He went up to the third floor and entered a VIP special care room.

An elderly man was leaning against the headboard of the bed.

He was thin, and his face was sallow.

“Grandfather.” There was no emotion in Shen Yanzhou’s voice; it was somewhat formulaic.

“Yanzhou, you’re here. Come, sit.” Old Master Shen pointed to the sofa nearby.

Shen Yanzhou placed the fruit basket he was holding on the table, then sat on the sofa.

“You called me over in such a hurry. What is it?”

Old Master Shen looked at Shen Yanzhou, his eyes tinged with displeasure.

“I heard you brought a boy of unknown origin home last night. Is that true?”

Shen Yanzhou’s eyes darkened.

Heh, there really are eyes everywhere.

“Yes. He’s an adult,” he answered calmly.

Old Master Shen waved his hand. “I’m not asking you about that!”

“You know what kind of existence our Shen family is. As the heir of the Shen family, you must act with stability.”

The old man frowned as he spoke.

“At your age, it’s normal to want to play around. But even if you don’t care about gender, you have to find someone whose background you know.”

“It’s fine to play around outside, but dragging some shady character home casually—if it causes trouble, it won’t be good!”

Shen Yanzhou casually crossed his long legs. “You called me here just for this?”

Old Master Shen looked dissatisfied. “Is this not important?”

Shen Yanzhou let out a soft scoff.

“Whether it’s important or not doesn’t matter. First, Lin Yuan is not a ‘shady character.’ Second, you know I don’t like being spied on by others.”

“Fourth Brother and Uncle seem to have too much free time. How about I find something for them to do?”

There was a mocking smile on his lips, but the color of his deep peach-blossom eyes turned cold.

Old Master Shen suddenly coughed violently.

He gasped for breath and said, “Number Five, everyone is doing this for your own good! You… don’t act recklessly!”

Shen Yanzhou interlaced his fingers and rested them loosely on his knee.

His gaze was indifferent, yet extremely dangerous. “I don’t want to act recklessly either, but there are always people who provoke me.”

Old Master Shen became agitated.

“Shen Yanzhou, I already gave the Shen Group to you! In exchange, you promised me you would be lenient!”

Shen Yanzhou had only returned to the Shen family four years ago.

Before that, he grew up in an orphanage until he was thirteen, then followed the boss of the biggest triad in the Imperial City.

After the boss died, at twenty-one, he took over the boss’s position.

It was also at that time that he found the Shen family and acknowledged his ancestors in a high-profile manner.

After that, to everyone’s surprise, he went on a killing spree within the Shen family.

Shen Yanzhou wiped out his eldest uncle’s entire family and sent his third uncle to prison to rot.

When he was preparing to move against his third uncle’s son and his youngest uncle, Old Master Shen panicked.

But he could do nothing against Shen Yanzhou, whose wings were fully grown and whose methods were ruthless.

He could only exchange the entire Shen Group to finally save his only remaining son and another grandson.

So, Old Master Shen’s feelings toward Shen Yanzhou were very complicated.

The same was true for Shen Yanzhou.

He stared at Old Master Shen for a moment.

Then he smiled. “Grandfather, don’t be angry. I have no malicious intent.”

He stood up.

“Pass a message to Fourth Brother and Uncle. Since they care about me so much, they might as well stop doing their own business and come to my company. It’s closer, so it’ll be more convenient for them to ‘care’ about me.”

Old Master Shen’s hands began to tremble slightly.

He naturally understood the subtext of Shen Yanzhou’s words.

He was going to target their businesses!

“Yanzhou, don’t be impulsive! They didn’t mean any harm!” the old man shouted.

Shen Yanzhou nodded. “Mn, I know.”

He turned to walk out. “Rest well. I’ll come see you another day.”

After speaking, he strode out of the room on his long legs.

Sitting in the car, Shen Yanzhou lit a cigarette.

He took a few deep drags.

His eyes remained dark.

It seemed that leaving those two members of the Shen family alive back then was a mistake!

To think they dared to say the person he chose was shady?

Although he had promised the Old Master to let Shen Jun and Shen Yanhui go, the condition was that they behaved themselves and didn’t cause trouble.

Now that they had popped up to be an eyesore, he had to teach them a lesson.

With the cigarette dangling from the corner of his mouth, Shen Yanzhou took out his phone and dialed his assistant, Yue Ping.

“Check who from the Shen family has contacted the Old Master between last night and this morning.”
