Chapter 107: You Can’t Be So Unreasonable

“No rush, there’s very little homework today.” Xie Miaohan put down his schoolbag. “Brother, didn’t I tell you to wait for me to come back so we could pack together?”

“We just have too much stuff. We’re moving to the new house tomorrow; I thought packing a little bit is better than nothing.”

“But Brother will be so tired.”

“I won’t be; someone is helping me.”

The neighbor quickly stood up and smiled at Xie Miaohan. “Xiao Han, you go to your room and do your homework. Leave this to me and your brother.”

Xie Miaohan completely ignored the neighbor, turning his head to continue talking to Gu Huaiye.

Neighbor: “……” How come this child gets harder to approach the older he gets?

Seeing that Xie Miaohan didn’t welcome him, he decided to be tactful and return to his own home.

“I’ll go back first. I’ll come over to help you again tomorrow.”

“Wait.” Gu Huaiye quickly stopped the neighbor. “Stay for dinner.”

The result would likely just be “caused by fatigue” again.

The doctor advised him to rest more, preferably finding an idle job.

“No need, I’ll be fine after taking some medicine.” Gu Huaiye put his gloves back on. “Go do your homework.”

“Brother, let me wash them for you.”

“No need, it’s just a few dishes and chopsticks. I’ll be done in a moment.”

After a long while, he suddenly said to Gu Huaiye.

“Brother, are you planning to date the neighbor brother?”

Gu Huaiye was startled by his sentence.
