Chapter 46: “Don’t You Love Me? Then Take It.”
No one left.
Lin Huaizhi successfully kissed a softness.
He held that person, kissing with tossing and turning intensity, as if to convey all his feelings in this moment through this kiss.
He didn’t know how long it lastedâit didn’t seem like very longâwhen Lin Huaizhi felt a hand press against the back of his head.
Huo Chen responded to him.
The two were like wild beasts, tearing at each other in the dark night. Lin Huaizhi could even taste blood.
But neither of them backed down.
Huo Chen confined the person in his arms. In his eyes, hidden in the night, paranoia and madness quickly surged.
Lin Huaizhi said he was a lunatic.
Huo Chen might not be a good person either.
He guarded his possessions very tightly. What was his had to be his; even if it had to be destroyed, it couldn’t be given to others.
He asked Lin Huaizhi to show him love.
Lin Huaizhi foolishly showed it to him, saying he liked him, saying he loved him, saying he wanted him regardless of the consequences.

It was all fake.
He gave Lin Huaizhi a chance to run, told Lin Huaizhi not to provoke him, but Lin Huaizhi was oblivious to death.

He would grant his wish!
As a villain, Huo Chen was never a good person. Lin Huaizhi had a miserable childhood, and Huo Chen wasn’t much better off.

The devil in Huo Chen’s heart emerged. He was bent on verifying Lin Huaizhi’s love. Amidst Lin Huaizhi’s indulgence, he took the final step.
Lin Huaizhi’s eyes went wide.
His throat was terribly hoarse, only able to make gasping sounds. He slapped Huo Chen’s hand, but received no pity.
“Don’t you love me?”
Huo Chen’s voice was heavy, like Yama walking out of hell.
“If you love me, then take it.”
Lin Huaizhi was tormented beyond endurance. He turned over and slapped Huo Chen across the face.
The crisp sound was like a mute button.
All sounds vanished in an instant; it was terrifyingly quiet.
Huo Chen’s eyes grew fiercer and fiercer. Lin Huaizhi, however, showed no fear at all. He grabbed Huo Chen’s hair, pulled him down, and kissed the other’s lips forcefully.
“Be fucking gentle!”
“With technique this bad, are you only thinking about today and not tomorrow?!”
Relying on one slap and two sentences, Lin Huaizhi successfully sent himself onto a dead-end road that nightâa road hovering between life and death.
It wasn’t until the first light of dawn outside the window.
That the sudden storm finally ceased.
Lin Huaizhi completely collapsed from illness.
His throat couldn’t make a sound, and his whole body ached terribly.
Huo Chen wasn’t there.
However, he left a note saying to call him when he woke up.
Lin Huaizhi sneered, crumpled the note into a ball, and threw it directly into the trash can.
He really didn’t expect Huo Chen to be such a beast. He bared his heart, and Huo Chen went straight to the final step. What was more excessive was that something that should have been pleasurable for both felt like Huo Chen was committing murder!

He checked his phone. There were text reports from Zhou Ning and missed calls from Chu Xiaoran.
He ignored Chu Xiaoran and called Zhou Ning back first to chat about recent events. “…What’s going on? Why is it so noisy over there?”
Zhou Ning covered his phone as he walked into the Huameng lobby. Behind him was a group of people holding banners and causing a disturbance. Vaguely, words like ‘Black Curtain’ and ‘Chu Xiaoran’ could be seen on the banners.
“It’s nothing big. It’s just that Director Zhou’s martial arts movie started filming yesterday. Didn’t you say before to switch Chu Xiaoran out and let Director Zhou choose his own cast? I don’t know how, but Chu Xiaoran’s fans seem to have found out something. They came to the company to make trouble, saying it’s all rigged, telling us to put Chu Xiaoran back in.”
Lin Huaizhi sneered.
“Rigged?”
“The fact that Chu Xiaoran could be the male lead was the real rig! I’m coming over now. Have security maintain order at the scene. If that doesn’t work, call the police directly.”
Half an hour later.
Lin Huaizhi arrived at the scene.
Chu Xiaoran’s fans were quite crazy; paint had been splashed on the company doors, and there were many paparazzi taking photos.
As soon as Lin Huaizhi appeared, everyone surrounded him.
“President Lin, regarding the recent heated discussion online about Chu Xiaoran being robbed of the male lead role in Dreams Knowing Dawn by an unknown new actor, what is your opinion?”
“President Lin, in This Is Love, you and Chu Xiaoran had conflicts multiple times. Was the loss of this role your doing?”
Lin Huaizhi raised his hand.
The young man was tall and slender. When he wasn’t smiling, he had an aura of authority without anger. The scene quickly quieted down.
“Regarding the movie Dreams Knowing Dawn, everyone knows this is Director Zhou Jingzhi’s film. He is not a director under Huameng and has always been famous for his strict casting. Huameng cannot influence his decisions.”
“I also deeply regret that Chu Xiaoran failed to obtain the qualifications to perform.”
Lin Huaizhi didn’t want to say more. After speaking a few official lines, he moved to disperse the scene. The police had arrived, so the paparazzi had to scatter.
Lin Huaizhi thought the matter was over and turned to speak to Zhou Ning. Unexpectedly, a boy who had been staring at him approached silently. Finally, he pulled a dagger from his sleeve and swung it at him with a ferocious face.
“It’s all your fault that Gegeš couldn’t perform! He prepared so much! You ruined it all!”
“Lin Huaizhi, you slut!”
“Go to hell!”
