Chapter 22: He’s Actually Quite Perverted
Mu Feng’s eyes lit up. “Tonight? So suddenly.”
He had thought he would have to wait at least until the exams finished in three days.
Jiang Yuan caught a snippet of this, his expression solemn as he muttered to himself, “Who does practical training at night? Doesn’t sound right. I’m afraid only the ‘doing’ part is left.”
“Why can he do practical training before even finishing the exams?”
Zhou Tiantian was extremely dissatisfied. “Besides, can a sixty-two score get practical training so fast? This is unfair, this is unreasonable, is there any justice left?”
It was practically throwing a stone into a quiet lake.
Xie Xingchen laughed hard. “Colonel Liang is obviously about to be attacked by the masses. If I didn’t have military matters later, I’d want to stay as a permanent resident to eat melons and watch the drama.”
Liang Yuhang only felt it was noisy.
As expected, places with many people were annoying.
He spoke calmly, “So many questions. Who do I answer first?”
Mu Feng couldn’t hold back a laugh.
He could sense the other party’s cultured yet suppressed irritability. If it were 0717, it would have probably been gifted a ‘Get Out of the Exam Hall’ package by now.
Mu Feng reached out, hooked Jiang Yuan and Zhou Tiantian with each arm, and pushed them into the exam hall. “Stop arguing, take the exam first.”
Liang Yuhang turned his head to look at Xie Xingchen. “When are you leaving?”
“I’ll stay another two days. The climate here is nice, and the people are nice too,” Xie Xingchen said. “After all, going back is boring too.”
Liang Yuhang narrowed his eyes. “Don’t you have someone you like?”
“Does that conflict with the question above? Colonel Liang,” Xie Xingchen said with a grin.
Liang Yuhang felt a sense of powerlessness in communicating with a social butterfly.
He thought for a moment, but still warned, “Don’t play with other people’s feelings. That kid has already had a hard life.”
Xie Xingchen pointed at himself, his expression innocent. “Do I look like a scumbag?”
Liang Yuhang nodded, his tone calm yet sharp. “Quite like one. The kind of scumbag who has dated eighty Omegas.”
Xie Xingchen: “…………”
He recalled how Mu Feng roasted him last night.
He could only say, one blanket doesn’t cover two different types of people.
Oh wait, they haven’t slept together yet, and their mouths are already equally sharp, as if they’ve kissed.
If they really slept together, that would be the end of it.
Xie Xingchen said, “If you insist on putting it that way, for the evening practical training, I can only watch from the sidelines. So exciting.”
“I’d better tell the Commander to let you go back tomorrow.”
Liang Yuhang looked calm, but his words revealed an impulse to beat the other guy up.
“I’m afraid if you stay a few more days, I won’t be able to control myself and I’ll affect the harmony between the galaxies.”
Xie Xingchen smiled, reached out, and took the test papers from his hand. “Time for the exam.”
Liang Yuhang didn’t have time to proctor. He stayed for a few minutes and left. Before leaving, he glanced toward the center of the exam hall.
Coincidentally, Mu Feng looked up too. Their gazes met, and the latter gave him a brilliant smile.
Don’t know what there is to be happy about when planning to test last place.
Do your questions, Liang Yuhang commanded silently.
Yes, Teacher Liang.
Mu Feng watched him leave before lowering his head to look at the questions. They seemed much harder than the ones at school, appearing deliberately difficult.
He wasn’t sure of the others’ levels, but those who could make it here were strong. He didn’t want to be too embarrassing, so he left two major questions blank, honestly controlling his score at sixty-five.
He tried his best to slow down his writing speed, but there was still half an hour left. He was bored to death.
Mu Feng started drawing turtles on the scratch paper.
“It’s an exam, what are you doing?” Professor Zhang wandered over and knocked on the back of his head.
Mu Feng hadn’t expected to be caught doing this.
In the past, he sat in the corner of the exam hall, usually sleeping after finishing, then getting up to hand in the paper.
“Can’t do them,” Mu Feng said lazily. “The questions are too hard, can’t understand them at all.”
The students next to him were still writing furiously. Professor Zhang reached out, picked up his test paper, and flipped through it. Beautiful handwriting, neat paper.
The most magical thing was, with such hard questions, he could still pass?
Zhang Luyan looked at him scrutinizingly for a moment, then put the paper back. He thought to himself, That kid Liang Yuhang really knows how to teach. Saved a slacker in three days.
With this teaching level, forget being a military doctor; he really wanted to drag him back to the school to teach.
The exam bell rang. Papers were collected.
Mu Feng turned to look at Jiang Yuan, who had a mournful face. “How was it? Did you predict many questions correctly?”
“Simply couldn’t… remember.” Jiang Yuan gritted his teeth. “These questions are so hard, like reading a celestial book. I should just go home. Go home and inherit the family business.”
“I feel like my burning the midnight oil was in vain. Was I sleepwalking?” Zhou Tiantian was indignant. “Which hack wrote these questions to torture students like this? I’m going to his house to steal his instant noodle seasoning packets!”
A student next to them also spoke up. “I feel like I’m going to get the lowest score of my student career. Might fail.”
Mu Feng: ???
No, if everyone tests so poorly, how am I supposed to be last place?
Didn’t they say everyone here was a straight-A student? Was it all an act?
Mu Feng was very apprehensive.
In the following exams, he very vigilantly pressed his scores down further, but he couldn’t accept the humiliation of failing, so he strictly controlled it at exactly sixty.
Four exams a day, physically and mentally exhausted. But he was still happy because he could see Liang Yuhang at night.
“Mu Bao, did you take stimulants?” Back in the dorm, Jiang Yuan felt five years older from the torture. “Why are you so excited you could knock over a cow?”
“Because of the practical training tonight,” Mu Feng said.
“Did you miss a word? It’s practical training, not…” Jiang Yuan looked solemn.
Mu Feng: “………My ears aren’t deaf. Please don’t stain our pure feelings with your brain full of yellow thoughts.”
Unable to dissuade him, Jiang Yuan rummaged through his suitcase and pulled out a bottle of anti-Alpha spray. “Take this. In case Liang Yuhang tries to commit crimes against you, spray him.”
Mu Feng frowned. “Why did you bring this to the base?”
If anyone needed guarding against, it was Liang Yuhang who needed this thing. He was the one harboring evil designs.
“I used to go to nightclubs a lot; my brother gave it to me,” Jiang Yuan smiled slightly. “Used it once. Extremely lethal.”
Mu Feng couldn’t refuse, so he stuffed it into his pocket.
M: Had dinner. Should I go up now?
Mu Feng swiped his card to go upstairs. Liang Yuhang and 0717 were waiting at the R&D lab door.
“You are the first student he’s ever brought back. The boss hasn’t smiled like this in a long time.”
0717 slapped its own mouth. “Sorry, messy searches got mixed up recently. Please forgive.”
Liang Yuhang glanced at it. “If you read trashy novels again, I’ll dismantle you.”
Mu Feng laughed hard. “So, what’s the practical training today?”
“Holographic simulation drill.”
Liang Yuhang handed him a simulation suit. “Battlefield injection of nano-reagents. If you misoperate, the patient will have a pain reaction. Severe cases lead to death.”
It was training he hadn’t done before. Mu Feng was a little nervous. “Okay, I’ll change first.”
Thinking he was supposed to do it right there, he grabbed his T-shirt and pulled it off, then bent down to take off his trousers.
Liang Yuhang: “………I didn’t say change here.”
0717 let out a ‘wow’, eyes turning into stars. “Body is so pleasing to the eye. Can I touch?”
“You aren’t allowed.”
Teacher Liang can. Touch however he wants.
As Mu Feng was bending over, the anti-Alpha spray in his pocket fell out with a clatter, rolling right to Liang Yuhang’s feet.
Mu Feng: “………”
Truly, fear summons the thing feared.
0717 lowered its head, leaned in, picked it up, and said ‘wow’ again. “So vigilant. Are you afraid the boss will do something bad? He is approaching his susceptibility period recently; it’s indeed hard to say.”
Liang Yuhang reached out to take it, turning it over to inspect. “Guarding against me?”
“No, I’m not.” Mu Feng knew this was an ominous object; even eight hundred mouths couldn’t explain it clearly. “How could I think of you as such a pervert?”
Liang Yuhang scared him. “That’s hard to say.”
0717 chimed in. “He’s actually quite perverted. His susceptibility period is longer than ordinary Alphas, and fierce. I can feel the impact from three hundred meters away. Don’t know which Omega will suffer this torture in the future…”
Although Mu Feng didn’t know how a perfectly good practical training topic shifted to this, he was very curious. “Really? Teacher Liang.”
Liang Yuhang tried to keep his gaze on Mu Feng’s face, but his peripheral vision inevitably took in the whole body—lips, abdominal muscles, thin waist, long legs—taking it all in at a glance.
“I think it’s more appropriate for you to finish changing clothes before chatting with me.”
0717, monitoring via Liang Yuhang’s watch in real-time, broadcasted methodically.
“Heartbeat normal.”
“Hormone fluctuation.”
“Body temperature rose by a full 1.3 degrees.”
“In summary… you…”
0717 was forcibly muted by Liang Yuhang, left only with winking facial expressions.
Liang Yuhang frowned. “Really noisy.”
He felt his susceptibility period might truly be coming early; the riotous factors in his blood were pulsing faintly.
Yet Mu Feng just walked right up to him and touched his hand without warning.
Delicate fingers slid over his wrist, as if checking seriously, but the technique was really a bit teasing.
Reckless.
Mu Feng only felt the body temperature was scorching. He looked up, his tone becoming a bit fiercer. “Probably won’t have time for holographic practice today. If you trust me, I’ll inject a soothing agent for you. Looking at Teacher Liang’s state, did you forget to inject the reagent I gave you yesterday?”
0717 struggled to reboot and turn on, chiming in. “Right, he didn’t inject it. Don’t know if he’s holding out to act cool.”
Liang Yuhang really wanted to throw this nonsense-spouting robot into the sea to feed the fish. “Hasn’t arrived yet. Don’t need it.”
Mu Feng was very tough, gripping his wrist and not letting go. “No. How can you ruin your body like this? 0717, give me the reagent.”
0717 looked at him, face full of conflict.
Liang Yuhang’s breathing was unsteady. “Really, no need.”
0717 turned its head again, falling into confusion. Who to listen to?
Who is the master of this house? Head hurts, about to grow a brain.
Mu Feng frowned, looking very unhappy. “Teacher Liang, last time you even injected experimental serums into yourself. Why won’t you use mine? Do you think I’m useless?”
Liang Yuhang moved his gaze away from him, explaining, “It’s not that you’re useless. It’s that all reagents are useless on me.”
“Oh, is that so? Then what to do?” Mu Feng hadn’t expected this reason. “You can’t just tough it out.”
Liang Yuhang really couldn’t stand him standing naked in front of him like this anymore. Frowning, he reached out, grabbed the shirt in Mu Feng’s hand, and pulled it down over his head.
Mu Feng’s eyes were covered; his vision went dark for a moment.
He felt his cheek being patted lightly. The movement was gentle, but the tone was heavy, like a reprimand.
“You dare to stand in front of me naked like this again next time, and you’re getting a beating.”
