Old Mrs. Gu had made a scene for nothing and didn’t get the result she wanted.
But after this incident, Gu Yinnian’s reaction was huge and lasted for a long time.

He just couldn’t accept Xiao Ji appearing and then leaving.
At night, he lay beside Xiao Ji, looking at him.
“Can you fall asleep with me here?”
Xiao Ji nodded.
Gu Yinnian, however, said, “I can’t sleep.”
Xiao Ji locked eyes with him. “Then go back to your room to sleep.”
Gu Yinnian refused. “No, why should I go back? I’ll sleep where I want to sleep. If I can’t sleep, I’ll force myself to sleep.”
Xiao Ji pressed half his face into the pillow. “You’re afraid I’ll be sent away.”
Gu Yinnian wouldn’t admit it. “What do I have to be afraid of? Before you came, I lived incredibly comfortably.”
“Since you came, I have to take care of you. I’m very tired.”
Xiao Ji found it funny in his heart. He reached out and held Gu Yinnian’s chubby little hand. “Then you are working very hard.”
Gu Yinnian sighed deeply. “As long as you know.”

Xiao Ji answered very readily, “As long as you don’t chase me away.”

The doctor said, “Wait until he differentiates. If he’s an Omega, as long as the pheromones don’t conflict, everything will be fine.”
“What if he’s an Alpha?” Gu Yinnian asked.
The doctor pondered for a moment. “If he’s an Alpha, then you two fight. You’re already intolerant to this degree now; presumably, when your pheromones clash later, it’ll be a fight to the death.”
Gu Yinnian’s face turned terribly ugly, and his pheromones looked like they were about to explode uncontrollably again.
When the scent of fire leaked out, the doctor hurriedly stood up and sprayed a blocker wildly at the back of Gu Yinnian’s neck, then sighed.

After being listless at school all day, he still came to the hospital after school.

“How do you feel?”
