Chapter 25: Injecting Pheromones
Su Miantang’s eyelid twitched.
She had thought these two dignified Eagle and Wolf officers, transformed into fierce beasts, would tear her into pieces bite by bite. But now, looking at them acting aggrieved and begging for pets, what was the difference between them and two pets?
A chick and a big dog. She could take them home to keep Lanlan company.
“Let go of me. Stand at attention, one on the left, one on the right, and I’ll give it to you.”

Hearing this, the Golden-Crowned Eagle and the Snow Wolf immediately let go of her like elementary school students and stood at attention obediently.

“Countess Joy.”
Su Miantang put away the suppressants and took out two detection bracelets, putting them on Fred and Enzo respectively. The mental breakdown values displayed were 10 and 11.
10, 11?
Those were extremely low values her sons only had when they were infants in swaddling clothes!
Countess Joy was so shocked her jaw nearly dropped. “H-How did you do it?”
“I told you, I am a researcher at the Imperial National Academy of Sciences. This is the suppressant I newly developed. It looks like the effect is not bad.”
She had actually used a suppressant to save Fred and Enzo’s lives, to save her pair of sons.
In an instant, Countess Joy’s eyes filled with tearsājoy, gratitude, and deep guilt. Just half an hour ago, she had frantically insulted her and attacked her with pheromones.
She truly deserved to die!
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, Miss Su Miantang. Before, I…”
“I understand. You were worried about your sons.”
“Mm, mm, mm!”
She couldn’t wait to hug her sons who had been tortured so badly, but she was viciously pecked by Fred and mercilessly kicked by Enzo, as if saying: Don’t think about separating me and Tangtang!

Su Miantang smiled.

She finally understood why her sons liked Su Miantang so much.

After four long hours of coaxing them to sleep, Su Miantang walked out exhaustedly, only to see that Countess Joy had already prepared water and food for her.
“Thank you.”
“No need. Compared to what you did for Fred and Enzo, this is nothing. By the way, Miss Su Miantang, I don’t mean to offend, I just want to ask, do you really have no pheromones?”
“No.”
Su Miantang shook her head.
“That’s strange…” Countess Joy murmured in confusion. “Then why did I take you to the cell?”

She quickly tore it open. After reading it, she was so scared her whole body went limp, and the two summons fluttered from her hands to the ground.
Sure enough, what she feared had come.
Were her sons destined not to escape this calamity?
“What’s wrong?”
Su Miantang picked up the two summons from the ground.
