Ning Little Meow shook his head. “Grandfather, Cub isn’t hungry. Cub is waiting for Father.”
Suddenly, his ears perked up. “Is Father back?”
Professor Ning carried him out. “Yes, he’s back.”
The Big Cat, lying lazily in the yard sunbathing, also got up hearing the commotion. He couldn’t help it; he had tossed and turned all night yesterdayâfirst running to hide his armor to save time, then finding Ichi.
Later, maintaining his human form consumed a lot of spiritual energy. He rushed back before dawn before the Little Meow Cub woke up, and then kept him company without daring to sleep. Right now, he was a bit drowsy.

Big Brother Ning was a General; he could also apply for defensive equipment used by the military.
