Chapter 93 (Finale)
Two days later, TWG defeated WOF and entered the finals.
The venue for the grand finals was set at the Cloud City Sports Center, KW’s home ground.
Shen Yanjin left from here, and started again from here.
On the day of the finals, he thought he would be very nervous, but the moment he sat in the gaming chair, his mood was surprisingly calm and peaceful.

In the first game, TWG fielded their original Mid Laner, attempting to clash head-on with KW. In twenty minutes, there were thirty-nine kills, turning it directly into a brawl. In the end, TWG wasn’t as hard as KW. Song Yuan used a split-push character to backdoor the base directly.
In the second game, Aiai came on. His macro and kiting were “stickier” than Duan Mingyueās. For the fourth time, he let Shi Feng escape with a sliver of health from under his nose. Kai simply wished he could crawl through the screen to the adjacent booth right now to PK Aiai in real lifeātoo disgusting!
Shi Feng lived in the mid lane. Every few minutes, he would bring his support to take a look. If caught off guard, one would be ganked. But if you wanted to counter-gank, he would be saved by Aiai in various ways. As his lane opponent, Kai was almost tortured to breaking point.

In the third game, Song Yuan took a carry-type fighter hero, while Kai simply took a shield support and started trading farm with Aiai in the mid lane. Both sides’ Jungler and Support engaged in a passionate melee in the top jungle, while Mid laners contained each other. KW’s top lane had the advantage and came to support one step earlier. Tans played pure anti-pressure in the bottom lane. His teammates were all fighting in the top jungle, and Kai was contained in mid; in this game, he was just making up the numbers.
If he could get fed in the late game, great; if not, it didn’t matter. Staying invisible in the back and not feeding was victory.

After a brief tactical meeting in the lounge, staff came to tell them to go on stage.
When Shen Yanjin went out, he felt his cuff being pulled lightly. He understood and slowed his steps, letting himself fall to the end of the line.
Immediately, Duan Mingyue put his hand on his shoulder, lowering his voice: “Willing to trust me?”
Shen Yanjin understood immediately. He wanted to try a new strategy.
Trying a new strategy in the finals was truly taking a risk, tantamount to walking a tightrope. Undeniably, some people achieved great success, but more people played with fire and burned themselves.
He lowered his eyes, pausing for only a second. “Willing.”
Duan Mingyue revealed a smile.
TWG’s Aiai was a very difficult person to deal with. In the third game, it was because they were unprepared that they allowed them to win a round.
After the lesson of the third game, his defense would only be more comprehensive and tight. Therefore, they had to use an unconventional method to catch them off guard.
“Welcome back! This is the Cloud City KW Home Venue! Taking place here is the WL China Region Spring Finals. The two teams on the field are KW and TWG. Currently, the score is 2-1, KW holds the match point!”

It wasn’t until several years later, when both had retired and Duan Mingyue took over the family business but still maintained an ambiguous relationship with Sliver, and during a fan appreciation stream where Sliver accidentally revealed an account with a pink avatar, that everyone belatedly realized: the most absurd guess back then was actually the truth.
But, that is a story for later.
