Chapter 65: Turning Xi Yun into Private Property… Hearing Something Collapse in the Heart
Fingertips, carrying a slight chill, slid slowly down the superior line of the shoulder and neck.
Beneath the pads of those fingers, against the meticulously smooth collar, a fragile and sensitive Adam’s apple bobbed slowly. In the silence, it carried an unspeakable sexiness.
Le Can was like a cat that had spotted a butterfly; his gaze was uncontrollably drawn to it. He watched quietly for two seconds, debating whether or not to extend a claw.
Unfortunately, his fingers had already reached their destination.
The young man could only cast a regretful glance before his hand swiftly hooked the tie beneath his palm, clenched it tight, and suddenly yanked it toward himself!
Xi Yun, caught by the tie, was forced to lean his upper body forward, the tip of his nose touching Le Can’s, who had abruptly looked up.
The shutter sound of the camera—click, click—rang incessantly in their ears. Deep within Xi Yun’s lowered eyes, a hidden pleasure stirred.
Xi Yun didn’t know what his assistant, Liang Yusheng, who had been by his side for years, had said to the young man to cause such a drastic change in Le Can’s attitude…
But he couldn’t deny that Assistant Liang, who always handled things reliably, had indeed done a good job.
Xi Yun reached out to embrace Le Can’s waist, cooperating to close the distance between their bodies. As his breath brushed past the young man’s ear, he cast a nonchalant glance at the “meritorious official.”
Liang Yusheng, already foreseeing a promotion and a raise, smiled respectfully and took a step back to hide his merit and fame.
Le Can didn’t notice the eye contact between the two. He pushed away the man who was getting too close with one hand, stood up slowly, and lowered his head to look at Xi Yun, who was looking up at him.
The angle from above allowed Le Can to clearly see those magnificent Double Pupils.
The cold, mysterious silver-gray color made it impossible for him to look away every time. Two pupils, one large and one small, connected within the iris—rare and strange.
Such eyes, when focused on something, were like black holes in the universe capable of swallowing everything.
Unapproachable, inescapable. Yet their profound mystery always attracted people to cast their gaze upon them, rushing forward one after another to decipher them.
Unfortunately, Le Can was a man of heavy curiosity.
He had always been stingy with his attention toward things that didn’t interest him. But for things that truly piqued his interest, he was accustomed to throwing himself in with full concentration.
Things that could generate obsession in Le Can were rare and few.
The only exception was probably the person in front of him…
The option to let Xi Yun go had been offered by Le Can long ago, and more than once. But the other party always managed to precisely bypass the correct option, fiercely igniting his desire to win.
Original, faint curiosity turned into persistence, and finally became an obsession that he felt compelled to fulfill.
While thinking this, Le Can pulled out the entirety of Xi Yun’s tie, grabbed the end of it, and slowly wrapped the material around his hand.
The young man stood in place, his eyelids lowered. The upward traction of the tie forced Xi Yun to arch his neck, lifting his head higher and higher… gazing back at him.
Clearly, with just a light struggle, Xi Yun could have broken free from this posture that resembled a sacrificial offering. But his arms, resting on his knees, only tensed slightly and took no other action.
Le Can let out a long sigh in his heart.
[Everything, everything…]
[If you want to blame someone, blame yourself.]
[Since you provoked it, then you can’t help it, and you can’t blame anyone.]
As for who couldn’t help it? And who couldn’t be blamed?
Before the dust settles, nothing is certain.
The clear inner voice rang in his ears, and faint ripples appeared in the silver-gray Double Pupils. Beneath the suit and leather shoes, a silent undercurrent surged, strictly contained within this body.
Catching sight of Xi Yun’s clenched jaw, Le Can finally gave a light laugh. He took the initiative to lean down and place a kiss on the center of Xi Yun’s brows.
It was a very shallow kiss, barely a touch before he pulled away. But the furrowed brow of the person before him visibly relaxed.
Seeing such a reaction, Le Can’s eyes also took on a gentle smile.
He felt… his reward had not been given in mistake.
Compared to someone as slow as wood or as indifferent as a block of ice, it was always more fun to tease someone willing to cooperate and give feedback.
“Yes, yes, yes, yes! Just like that!”
Suddenly, the photographer couldn’t suppress a low scream of excitement. “Mr. Le, your performance just now was too good! Interact a bit more with Mr. Xi!”
Le Can instantly broke character. He threw himself back into the seat, laughing as he rested his head against Xi Yun’s shoulder, wearing an expression of helplessness.
He had been so focused on teasing the male lead that he had almost forgotten what he was doing…
Xi Yun raised his arm to steady the young man who was swaying with laughter, his lowered eyes filled with a touch of helplessness and indulgence.
His tie, now crumpled and wrinkled, had come slightly loose, the other end still clenched in someone else’s palm.
“This works, this works. Yes, yes, don’t look at me, don’t move! Nobody move!”
Le Can’s eyelids, which he had been about to lift, dropped again. Obediently maintaining the pose, he let out a faint sigh from his lips.
Before the sigh ended, a short laugh came from the shoulder he was leaning on.
It was a puff of air spilling from deep within the throat. The sound wasn’t loud, but at such close proximity, it was hard for Le Can not to hear it.
He rolled his head, adjusted his posture, and looked up.
He happened to catch the extremely faint curve of Xi Yun’s lips and the fragmented smile shimmering like water in those beautiful silver-gray phoenix eyes.
For someone who rarely laughed, revealing even a little smile was surprisingly striking. And if that person possessed looks that seemed like Nuwa’s graduation project, that surprise escalated into awe!
Le Can stared, a bit dazed.
He admitted he was shallow when it came to looks.
But usually, what he obsessed over were natural gemstones—rare and rich in color, pure and flawless, with perfect cuts and superior visual effects.
Just now, Le Can inexplicably wanted to take Xi Yun as his own, to turn him into his unique collection…
His brain seemed to split into two parts. One half clamored, “You’re dreaming,” while the other half seriously considered whether he needed to buy a significantly larger safe.
After a while, his overheated brain cooled down slightly, and Le Can felt a bit dumbfounded.
[Turning Xi Yun into your private property… Le Can, you really dare to think.]
Le Can shook his head, which might have taken on water, and propped himself up with one hand on the seat, preparing to put a little distance between himself and the person beside him.
He hadn’t intended to move too far away; after all, they were still taking photos.
But the moment his body retreated, a scalding palm pressed completely over the hand Le Can had braced on the cushion. Then, the person he had been separated from for less than two seconds chased after him and pressed close again.
Le Can slowly thought: ?
Before Le Can could look at Xi Yun’s expression, suddenly, the wrist of the hand holding the tie was encircled and lifted up.
At the same time, a crumpled silver-gray tie appeared in his line of sight.
And the culprit: his fingers were still pinching a corner of the tie, his fingertips rubbing the silky soft surface with fond attachment.
Le Can: “…”
Whatever confusion he had just had was now replaced by guilt and awkwardness. He braced himself and looked up, trying to persuade Xi Yun to either untie it or change into a new one.
But when his gaze fell on Xi Yun, he saw a man whose lips were pursed into a tight, straight line.
Those eyes, the same color as the tie, looked like a sky where a storm was brewing, carrying the aura of wind filling the tower before the mountain rain arrives.
Le Can’s danger radar went off.
But he was completely baffled, unsure of the source of this invisible storm. It couldn’t be… that Xi Yun just realized his tie had been scrunched into dried preserved vegetables by him, right?
Sharing the same cloakroom, Le Can knew better than anyone exactly how many ties Xi Yun had at home.
[It shouldn’t be the tie.]
Xi Yun, suppressing the monstrous waves in his heart: “.”
The drastic rise and fall of emotions in such a short time caused Xi Yun to slowly close his eyes. He waited to digest part of the emotion before opening them again…
The young man, smiling beautifully with slightly parted red lips, held a corner of the light gray tie in his mouth. His eyes were filled with a fragility-thin innocence as he hooked his lips at him.
In that instant, Xi Yun hallucinated a massive sound from the depths of his heart.
Something collapsed with a crash.
A flash of red quickly swept past the corner of Xi Yun’s eyes, his Adam’s apple rolling uncontrollably. Just on the eve of him doing something…
“Damn! Amazing, amazing, amazing!”
“Mr. Le, push your chin forward a bit more. Yes, just like that, perfect!”
The photographer’s overjoyed voice abruptly shattered all of Xi Yun’s impulses. His body tensed suddenly, then slowly returned to normal in a moment unknown to anyone.
The next day, Liang Yusheng, who received a bonus in his phone followed by a deduction record below it: ???

The castle wasn’t the only shooting location that day. After finishing one set of photos, Le Can and Xi Yun were tossed about to change clothes and went to the maze garden outside the castle, the island forest, and the white sand beach by the sea.
Le Can and Xi Yun walked hand in hand across the fine, soft beach, rode horses through the dense forest led by Xi Yun, and embraced each other to sleep in a sea of flowers…
Finally, after dark, they completed the mission indicators for the day, obtaining a pile of photos that were formal, intimate, or quirky.
Handing over the task of selecting photos and supervising the editing to Liang Yusheng, the hands-off manager Le Can finally obtained ample rest time.
He lazily collapsed onto the sofa, which exuded low-key luxury, and lifted his chin weakly at Xi Yun. “You go shower first; I’ll wait a bit.”
The man, whose stamina was obviously much better than Le Can’s, nodded and entered the bathroom first.
Upon hearing the click of the door closing, the young man, who had been as soft as if he had no bones, suddenly sprang up from the sofa.
His beautiful peach-blossom eyes curved into two crescents, and a heavy aura of “I’m going to do something bad” emerged from Le Can.
After confirming that Xi Yun had really started washing up, he tiptoed out of the room and ran in the direction where the stylist team was staying…
The things Liang Yusheng told him about—only they had them.
The room was silent for a long time. The lock of the tightly closed bathroom door slowly turned.
The door was first pulled open a crack, white steam pouring into the dry room along the gap. Subsequently, a figure wearing a black nightgown walked out of the white mist.
A drop of water slowly dripped from the wet ends of his hair, sliding down the corner of Xi Yun’s eye. He indifferently raised the towel in his hand and casually wiped his hair.
Seeing the empty sofa, his doubtful gaze quickly swept across the entire room.
There was no sign of Le Can.
Xi Yun’s brow furrowed involuntarily. He tossed the towel onto the back of a nearby chair and turned to walk toward the bedroom door.
Just as Xi Yun’s hand rested on the door handle, about to push down, the door suddenly opened from the outside.
Then, a soft body carrying a fresh fragrance crashed into Xi Yun’s arms…
