After a long while, Xie Miaohan nodded.
“Okay.”
After coaxing him to sleep, Gu Huaiye got out of bed, went to the living room to get the medicine kit, and returned to the room.
He crouched by the bed, turned on the bedside lamp, gently took Xie Miaohan’s left hand, and removed the rubber band. Seeing the deep red marks underneath, he couldn’t help but shed tears.
He didn’t dare cry out loud. He squeezed out the ointment and applied it to Xie Miaohan’s wounds.
