“What the—? Who are you!”
Fu Cai wiped the water from his face, glaring with his beady eyes as he pointed angrily at Chen Jiamu.
“I’m your father!”
“Looking like a toad and you still think you can be picky!”
“What does my sister’s appearance have to do with you? The line of men chasing her could reach France! Trash like you isn’t even fit for the table!”
Chen Cheng could endure it, but Chen Jiamu couldn’t. She cared about the Chen family’s face, but who cared about her feelings?

“Calling someone ugly? And hitting people?”

Seeing her state wasn’t right, Chen Jiamu subconsciously asked, “Can you handle it?”
“What is there to handle or not? At worst, we argue. What else can happen?”
Chen Cheng took a deep breath and sped up the drive home…
