Chapter 163: Too Childish
After settling down in District B, Xie Miaohan began to get very busy, often going out to find Xiang Wanxing.
Gu Huaiye knew he shouldn’t pry into the Xiang family’s affairs, so he never asked for details about the cooperation to avoid bringing trouble to himself and Xie Miaohan.
He often stayed in the apartment, occasionally going out to the mall to buy things for the home.

“Did you remember something?”

Gu Huaiye paused, joy showing in his eyes. “Okay! Having one more person is good; it’ll be lively.”
He had wanted to invite Chen Zirui, but worrying that Xie Miaohan might be unhappy, he had held back.
“Xiang Wanxing went to the army two days ago and sent me a few photos.”
Xie Miaohan took out his phone, scrolled to his chat history with Xiang Wanxing, and found a photo of Chen Zirui.
“He’s gotten much darker.” Xie Miaohan handed it to Gu Huaiye.
Gu Huaiye took a look and burst out laughing.
“Just like in the life before last. He looks like a refugee, hahaha.”
Thinking of something, Gu Huaiye looked up at Xie Miaohan and asked puzzledly, “How come when you went to the army, you didn’t get tan at all?”
“It’s not that I didn’t get tan, it’s just that I turned white again very quickly.” Xie Miaohan looked aggrieved. “You care about looks too much. If I didn’t get pale again, how would I dare to see you?”
Gu Huaiye rolled his eyes.
