Mr. Shen’s Sick Obsession Chapter 13

Chapter 13: It’s Shen Xingyu Who Loves Me the Most

Liang Sheng’s face was pale as he watched the man’s tall, straight back run out carrying someone else. He had never seen his husband so anxious over anyone, nor could he believe the words he had just heard.

Shen Xingyu… actually told him to kneel on the broken glass and reflect?

Although his husband had neglected him and never given him a good look over the years, he had never used any physical actions to hurt him. Yet today, because of someone else, he indiscriminately ordered him to kneel on that pile of glass!

So, had he already become this unimportant… not even worth listening to an explanation.

The lighting was dim. Liang Sheng stared blankly at the glass shards reflecting the cold light, his eyes hollow.

Before this, he had made excuses for his husband in his heart countless times, harbored expectations countless times, but what he got in return was chilling disappointment time and time again.

“Young Madam.”

Qin Lou stepped forward and said expressionlessly, “President Shen told me to supervise you kneeling for a full hour.”

Liang Sheng smiled bitterly and tugged at the corners of his mouth: “What if… I don’t kneel?”

Qin Lou sighed helplessly: “Then forgive your subordinate for the offense. I will have to personally press the Young Madam down to kneel.”

It seemed Shen Xingyu was dead set on punishing him this time…

Liang Sheng closed his eyes and took a deep breath. When he opened them again, his eyes were already flooded with tears.

He gritted his teeth, looked at the blurry shards in front of him, slightly bent his knees, and slowly knelt down.

The sharp, inverted triangular glass quickly sliced through his thin pants, and dots of crimson seeped out.

Liang Sheng bent his spine in pain. He propped his hands against his thighs, his shoulders trembling slightly as he desperately endured it.

It hurt, it hurt so much…

He felt as if his body was going to be pierced through by these shards.

Tears pattered down onto his thighs, followed by an increasing amount of blood that meandered onto the floor.

An overturned photo frame nearby was also stained with blood.

Terrified, Liang Sheng hurriedly picked it up.

It was a photo of the two of them, but the face of the young man standing next to him was completely dyed red with blood.

A deep crack in the glass lay between the two of them, seemingly hinting at something.

Liang Sheng wiped it vigorously with his sleeve, but the blood-seeped photo could not be wiped clean no matter what.

He began to cry anxiously: “Why won’t it come off… it won’t come off…”

That was his only photo with Shen Xingyu.

Their wedding photos had already been torn to shreds by his husband during a fit of madness. This was the last memory he had secretly hidden away.

Seeing him so heartbroken over a broken photo frame, Qin Lou walked over, took a look, and couldn’t help but ask, “Young Madam, who is the other person in this photo?”

The frequency of Liang Sheng’s sobbing gradually decreased. He took out the photo pressed against his chest, his fingers carefully stroking the blood-blurred face on the left, a faint trace of beauty surfacing in his eyes:

“It’s Shen Xingyu, who loves me the most.”

After saying that, he lowered his eyes dejectedly: “But now, he doesn’t remember our memories, and he doesn’t love me anymore.”

Qin Lou was notoriously hard-hearted among all the bodyguards. Naturally, he didn’t understand this so-called youthful affection. Instead, he seriously reminded him once again:

“Secretary Su previously saved President Shen’s life by donating blood when President Shen got into a car accident. Now that you’ve hurt Secretary Su, it is only natural for President Shen to be furious. The Young Madam should be more careful in the future.”

Hearing these words, Liang Sheng froze, his eyes filled with helplessness and self-mockery.

His legs were nearly numb from kneeling, and coupled with washing too many clothes earlier, he soon couldn’t withstand the torture of the pain. His vision went dark, and he fainted holding the photo frame.

In his daze, he saw a figure walking briskly toward him, but no matter how hard he tried to open his eyes, he couldn’t see clearly.

When he woke up from his coma again, Liang Sheng only felt a sore waist and an aching back. Even the simple action of propping himself up against the bedboard to sit was extremely strenuous.

Leaning against the wall, his first thought was of his photo frame, and he anxiously looked everywhere for it.

The photo frame was resting quietly on the nightstand.

Only then did he breathe a sigh of relief. He brought it over and found that the bloodstained glass cover had actually been wiped clean. Even his bleeding knees had been meticulously bandaged.

The pile of things cleared out from the study was all neatly placed in a large cardboard box.

Liang Sheng was surprised for a moment, then figured Auntie Chen must have done this. His numb heart couldn’t help but be moved.

After all, in this cold home, only Auntie Chen would secretly treat him well. The other servants, obeying Shen Xingyu’s orders, were forbidden from showing him any kindness.

He tentatively moved his legs. Fortunately, the glass hadn’t pierced too deeply; apart from the pain, they weren’t stiff.

A cold wind blew in from somewhere, making Liang Sheng sneeze. He turned his head to look around and only then realized he was no longer in his original room, feeling an inevitable sense of disappointment in his heart.

This room used to be for storing clutter. It was freezing in winter and boiling in summer, and the air carried a pungent, putrid smell.

He wrinkled his nose uncomfortably and lay back down on the bed exhaustedly. Just as he closed his eyes, there was a knock on the door.

“Knock, knock, knock…”

It made Liang Sheng feel flustered. He hastily got up and limped to the door to open it.

The person outside was Qin Lou.

“B-Bodyguard Qin, what is it?”

Liang Sheng was afraid the other party was sent by Shen Xingyu to cause trouble for him again.

As expected, Qin Lou suddenly grabbed his wrist. “President Shen is taking Secretary Su shopping and wants the Young Madam to tag along.”

“What? Shopping? I’m not going!”

Liang Sheng twisted his arm, wanting to break free, but the man held on even tighter.

“Apologies, Young Madam. This is President Shen’s intention. You must go.”

“I don’t feel well, I don’t want to go!”

Liang Sheng shook his head frantically. He only felt that his head was groggy right now, and he was very, very uncomfortable.

But Qin Lou had absolutely no intention of letting him go. He even used force, dragging him outside.

Outside the courtyard gates, a black Cayenne was parked.

The car window slowly rolled down, revealing the man’s side profile, his handsome and refined contours half-bathed in the night.

He narrowed his eyes slightly, looking out the window as if waiting for something. He carelessly rolled Buddhist prayer beads in his hand, looking like a person with a clear heart and few desires.

“Brother Yu, aren’t we driving off yet?”

Su Nian’s sweet voice rang out from the passenger seat.

The hand Shen Xingyu was using to play with the beads suddenly paused, but he didn’t turn his head. However, his tone turned several degrees colder: “Better to call me President Shen. I’m not used to hearing that.”

“Ah… alright.”

Su Nian was caught off guard by his sudden coldness. Pouting, he boredly pressed his gauze-wrapped palm.

He turned his head to look at the man who was staring out the window. Feeling completely ignored and unhappy, he began shifting around to attract the man’s attention. Finding it useless, he leaned his upper body toward the driver’s seat, blinking his innocent big eyes:

“If we delay any longer, the mall will close!”

His voice was sweet and cute, his smile youthful and sunny. It made Shen Xingyu, who had been in the dark for so long, pause for a moment. It was as if, through Su Nian, he saw an unforgettable old friend from twenty years ago.

This was why he liked Su Nian—young, lively, gentle, and harmless.

“Be good, I’m waiting for someone.”

Shen Xingyu patted his fluffy head with rare indulgence in his eyes. However, because Su Nian had dyed his hair, the texture wasn’t great; it didn’t feel as good to pet as Liang Sheng’s.

“Waiting for someone?”

Just as he finished speaking, Su Nian saw Liang Sheng being forcibly dragged over by Qin Lou. His face instantly darkened, and he muttered displeasedly: “President Shen, the Young Madam? Is he coming along too?”

“En.”

Shen Xingyu withdrew his gaze, but subconsciously looked into the rearview mirror at his little wife being shoved into the backseat.

Su Nian was unhappy. So the reason they hadn’t driven off all this time was because they were waiting for this damn bitch?!

Shen Xingyu started the car, using a completely uncaring expression to coax the little lover beside him:

“Anyway, he has nothing to do sitting idly at home. Having him come along to carry things for Nian-nian, isn’t that good?”

Hearing this, Liang Sheng stopped his movement of shaking the car door handle. The tip of his nose suddenly stung, and grievances welled up.

His legs hadn’t even recovered yet, and Shen Xingyu was already in such a hurry to use him to please his little lover?

Su Nian was overjoyed in his heart, but on the surface, he still had to pretend to be innocent, twisting uncomfortably:

“Oh my, isn’t that inappropriate~ Having the Young Madam carry things for a lowly secretary like me, people will laugh at the Young Madam if they find out! Those who don’t know better might think I’m…”

“You’re what?”

Shen Xingyu was rarely intrigued.

Su Nian shyly lowered his head, covered his face, and said: “That I’m seducing President Shen!”

Liang Sheng didn’t expect him to be shameless to this extent. He hadn’t even divorced Shen Xingyu yet, and Su Nian was already this brazen!

But what could he do… Other than swallowing his grievances and sulking, he could do nothing.

Shen Xingyu chuckled and stopped the car. Seemingly to retaliate for his wife hugging someone else, he reached out right in front of Liang Sheng, wrapped his arm around Su Nian’s slender waist, pulled his upper body closer to himself, and asked with an ambiguous gaze:

“When have you not been seducing me?”

The distance between the two in the front was practically nonexistent; their foreheads were almost touching.

Liang Sheng clearly saw the deep affection in his husband’s eyes—the deep affection that had once loved him, now easily given to someone else. He only felt his heart aching as if it were being pricked by needles.

Su Nian also hadn’t expected Shen Xingyu to suddenly lean in so close. His heart pounded wildly as he said coquettishly:

“Ah… President Shen… Nian-nian hasn’t done that!”

Shen Xingyu smirked without saying a word. His cold features were as gentle as water as he leaned a bit closer to Su Nian.

This scene was truly too grating on the eyes. Liang Sheng sat on pins and needles and immediately looked away, completely unable to imagine how devastated he would be if he saw his husband passionately kissing someone else.

Su Nian moved his lips, his face flushed. The atmosphere was incredibly ambiguous. He naturally closed his eyes, expecting the man to kiss his lips, but the kiss never came. Shen Xingyu released him, having no such intentions.

“Let’s go.”

The faint voice sounded, drowning in the roar of the engine.

Shen Xingyu returned to the driver’s seat by himself, expressionless, as if nothing had just happened.

Su Nian felt a wave of awkwardness and resentfully sat back down.

Seeing that the two hadn’t continued, Liang Sheng’s willow brows furrowed lightly. The usual gentle ripples in his eyes were now tainted with anger: “I want to get out…”

Shen Xingyu paid him no mind.

Liang Sheng forcefully slapped the back of his seat: “I don’t want to go with you! Shen Xingyu, are you really this heartless? My legs… are still hurting…” His voice gradually grew choked with sobs.

Shen Xingyu scoffed coldly: “If you hadn’t pushed Xiao Nian, you wouldn’t be suffering the consequences of your own actions.”
