After the Villain Awakened, He Was Carried Home by the Big Boss and Kissed Until He Cried Chapter 9

Chapter 9: Boyfriend

The waiter pushed open the door, and Chi Yuheng walked into the private room.

The voice of his good friend, Pei Si, immediately rang out, “My CEO Chi, you really are the last one to arrive every single time. As expected, the big boss has to make a grand entrance.”

Shen Xingye, sitting beside him, teased him, “That’s enough, Pei Si. What do you mean ‘every time’? Previously, you were always the last one. We haven’t even mentioned you yet.”

Pei Si argued, “That was because I was at home looking after the kid and couldn’t leave, which is why I came late.”

Jiang Cheng, on the other side, asked doubtfully, “I forgot to ask last year—you’re a bachelor without even a girlfriend, where did the kid come from?”

Thinking about the time spent looking after the kid, Pei Si had a look of misery. “Where else could the kid come from? My parents had a daughter late in life and gave me a younger sister.”

Jiang Cheng: “Holy crap!”

Pei Si: “I have no experience looking after kids. During that little girl’s hundred-day banquet, when she was supposed to pick an object for her future (Zhuazhou), she didn’t pick anything. She just came up and gave me a big slap (Da Bi Dou).”

“My dad even said she hit well. That little girl will definitely be a pop star in the future; she’s been ‘hitting the brother’ (Da Ge/promoting songs) since she was little.”

“Fuck! It’s lucky she isn’t a younger brother. If she were a brother, see if I wouldn’t give that brat two big slaps back.”

Shen Xingye and Jiang Cheng both burst out laughing, while only Chi Yuheng remained calm.

They all admired his composure.

Pei Si looked at the two of them with a dark face. “Laugh, laugh, laugh all you want. Just wait until it’s your turn and you’ll know. Look at how calm our Yuheng is. If any of you were even half as calm, your family companies would have gone public and stood firm in Jing City long ago.”

The four of them were roommates in university and had a deep friendship. After graduation, they all returned to their respective cities and agreed to meet up every year.

When it came to who Chi Yuheng was closest to, it was still Pei Si.

At this moment, Pei Si leaned against the side of the sofa, one arm naturally draped over Chi Yuheng’s shoulder like he was boneless. “Hey, you guys are all laughing at me, but I’m the funniest one. I can’t look after kids, and I can’t run a company. It’s too hard for me…”

Chi Yuheng sat to the side as if afraid of being infected. “Even if you fail ninety-nine times, you must work hard one more time.”

Pei Si turned his head to look at him, hope igniting in his eyes. “Brother, are you encouraging me because you think I’ll be successful and famous in the future?”

Chi Yuheng spoke calmly. “To make it a round number.”

Pei Si: “…”

He thought about whether he should advise Chi Yuheng not to purse his lips lately, as he might easily poison himself to death.

Chi Yuheng’s phone kept receiving messages; they were from the driver, Lao Wang.

[Call me Lao Wang]: CEO Chi, Young Master Ye’s earphones are lost.

Chi Yuheng replied to him: Buy a new pair.

A few minutes later.

[Call me Lao Wang]: CEO Chi, Young Master Ye’s watch is also lost.

Chi Yuheng frowned slightly and replied again: As long as the person isn’t lost.

Less than ten minutes later, Lao Wang’s message came again.

[Call me Lao Wang]: CEO Chi, Young Master Ye is lost. ^

Chi Yuheng’s face darkened visibly. A whole person could get lost in broad daylight.

Just as he was about to call Xin Yu in from outside, Ye Ran’s message came in.

[It’s Ye Ran not Ye Ash]: Chi Yuheng, do you think this car looks good?

Following it was a photo of a sports car.

Since Ye Ran was fished out by Chi Yuheng after racing with Xu Huiyang last time, he hadn’t touched a sports car for a long time.

He had originally gone to the mall, but after walking around and finding it boring, he went outside to wander. Lao Wang couldn’t keep up with his pace and lost him in the mall.

As Ye Ran wandered outside, he ended up at a 4S shop. Seeing the sports car inside made his hands itch. He didn’t actually think about buying it; sending the photo to Chi Yuheng was purely a habit of sharing things he liked with him.

Knowing the person wasn’t lost, Chi Yuheng was relieved.

[C]: It looks good.

Seeing the message, Ye Ran grinned.

“What are you smiling at?” Jiang Cheng asked.

Among the four of them, Pei Si talked the most, like a chatterbox.

Chi Yuheng talked the least. The person who usually didn’t talk much was now staring at his phone with a slight curve at the corner of his mouth, looking like he was in a relationship.

Pei Si understood Chi Yuheng the best. “What else could he be smiling at? It’s definitely that little young master of his sending him messages. Didn’t you see him checking his phone from time to time since he walked in?”

Shen Xingye interjected, “Are you talking about his family’s second young master, Chi Youchu?”

Pei Si gave him a smiling glance. “What second young master? It’s that third young master of the Ye family, Ye Ran.”

Shen Xingye had a sudden realization. “I remember now. It’s that little boy who was fostered in his home since he was young. Back when we were in university and the club had activities, Yuheng didn’t participate many times, saying he had to go to his brother’s parent-teacher meeting.”

Pei Si nodded. “Old Shen, you’ve finally caught up with the rhythm.”

The chatterboxes had a new topic and crowded around Chi Yuheng, blabbering away.

Chi Yuheng looked to be in a good mood. He opened a bottle of red wine and listened to them while slowly sipping.

Then he suddenly thought of something, called Xin Yu in, gave him a black card, and instructed, “Let him buy whatever he wants. No limit.”

Xin Yu naturally understood who “he” was, took the card, and turned to leave.

Pei Si was shocked. Chi Yuheng’s card had no limit—how much wealth must that be, and he just gave it away so simply?

“You didn’t just give the card to that Ye Ran brother of yours, did you?” Pei Si leaned in mischievously. “Brother, do you still lack a younger brother? Do you think I can be your brother?”

Chi Yuheng used two fingers to push Pei Si’s head away, his expression writing “Don’t touch me” all over.

Chi Yuheng’s slender fingers pinched the stem of the wine glass, his eyelids half-lowered, his eyes carrying a bit of nonchalant laziness.

“I don’t lack a brother, I lack a son.”

Pei Si: “I want to be your brother, but you want me to be your son.”

He had a look of “you’re taking advantage of me.” “No way.”

Shen Xingye laughed at Pei Si from the side. “That’s what you get for not speaking properly.”

Shen Xingye looked at Chi Yuheng again. “But you’re too good to your brother. Seeing those ‘gold coins exploding’ makes even us envious.”

“I don’t treat him as a brother.” Chi Yuheng leaned back into the leather sofa, his gaze falling on the swaying liquid in the glass, as if he wanted to knead all the emotions in his heart into the wine.

Pei Si, the silly child, learned to answer first. “I know. If not a brother, then an ancestor. Every family has a little ancestor. I understand, I understand.”

Finally, Chi Yuheng put down the wine glass. The sound of the glass hitting the table was light, yet it felt like it was knocking on someone’s heart.

“I want to be his boyfriend.”

The three people who understood: “!!!”
