MY OMEGA IS A SWEET LITTLE BEAN CHAPTER 73

Chapter 73: Picking Up My Baby to Go Home

The winter vacation for a student hadn’t ended yet, but the Spring Festival break for Su Tang as an artist had concluded.

Only the day after meeting Ye Xiansheng’s friends, Su Tang was pulled by Wen Lang to film an advertisement for SILENCE all day, truly experiencing a “very full” life as an artist.

Before it was even light in the morning, he was woken up by the alarm at past five. Su Tang wasn’t fully awake yet. He huffed twice and wanted to continue sleeping in, but the Alpha got up.

“Tangtang, be good. Time to get up.”

The Alpha kissed and hugged Su Tang, and it took a great deal of effort to carry the sleepy little fellow into the bathroom to wash up.

Su Tang was dazed the whole time, so sleepy he couldn’t even open his eyes. He was sat on the sink by the Alpha, his head drooping. Even his teeth were brushed by Ye Xiansheng with a smile as he coaxed him to gargle.

After cleaning the little Omega’s face, Ye Chiyu raised his hand and scraped Su Tang’s nose in annoyance. Seeing that Su Tang was still in a daze, his little face very seriously fighting against his heavy and tired eyelids, he wrapped his arms around the Alpha’s neck for a hug as soon as his face was wiped clean.

“Ye Xiansheng, hug…”

“Want a hug…”

The little guy’s voice was soft, still carrying the hoarseness of someone who hadn’t woken up. His pink lips gave the Alpha a kiss on the neck.

“Mmm— I shouldn’t have agreed last night…”

Su Tang was somewhat regretful.

The Alpha smiled and carried the person back to the bed. Su Tang’s head rested on Ye Chiyu’s shoulder, his slender white arms around the Alpha’s neck. He whispered softly, “I really was dazzled by Ye Xiansheng’s beauty…”

Ye Chiyu smiled without saying a word.

The Ye Xiansheng who had just stepped out of the shower last night was simply overflowing with hormones. The drops of water on his firm muscles hadn’t been wiped dry yet, and they flowed down his abs, making one imagine all sorts of things.

Su Tang had looked until his mouth was practically watering. How could he resist Ye Xiansheng asking if he “wanted” it in his low and pleasant voice?

Could he say no?

Of course he had to!

So the “lust-driven” little Omega was “trained” in bed by his Alpha last night. They went to bed at past ten and played until nearly one o’clock before sleeping. It served him right that he couldn’t get up this morning.

Completely different from the listless Su Tang, even though it was the Alpha himself who stayed up late and did the work, Ye Xiansheng appeared exceptionally full of energy.

Why was there such a large difference in physical stamina between people?

Su Tang rubbed his sleepy eyes. In a half-awake, half-asleep state, Ye Xiansheng had already helped him take off his pajamas and put on the clothes he was to wear out.

Hu Baobao appeared at the garage on time. Ye Chiyu pulled the still-sleepy Su Tang out of the elevator. Afraid that the cold weather would give the little guy a cold, he worriedly wrapped a scarf around him again.

Ye Chiyu had other arrangements today. He carefully protected the little fellow’s head as he sent Su Tang to the back seat of the large commercial vehicle and stuffed a bottle of hot milk into his hand. He also gave a bottle of milk to Hu Baobao.

“Baobao, Tangtang didn’t get enough sleep last night. Let him sleep for a while in the car later,” Ye Chiyu instructed.

Having been fed a mouth full of “dog food” first thing in the morning, Hu Baobao, this head of the CP fans, expressed great satisfaction.

“Okay, President Ye! Don’t worry, leave it to me!”

The driver was ready and asked if they should set off now.

Ye Chiyu glanced at Su Tang, who was sitting in the car holding his milk and staring at him pitifully. He said “Wait a moment” in a low voice and leaned into the car window to kiss the little Omega’s lips—which still carried a milky scent. Those eyes instantly lit up with happiness.

“Be good. Work hard.”

“Okay.”

Su Tang nodded obediently, reluctantly pulled on Ye Xiansheng’s hand, and then waved goodbye to him.

As soon as they arrived at the advertisement filming site, Su Tang was like a robot surrounded by makeup artists and stylists. He was being made up, having his hair done, trying on clothes, and picking accessories—a complete picture of someone at others’ mercy.

By the time Wen Lang and Jiang Cong arrived at the scene, Su Tang happened to have changed into a pale blue vintage silk shirt. His slightly long curly hair was exquisitely styled to every strand, and combined with the pink and moist lips from the makeup and his skin that was so fair it was almost transparent, it directly left people stunned.

“Perfect.”

Wen Lang just stood there silently, staring at Su Tang, who was as agile as a little elf who had wandered into the mortal world, and praised him in a daze.

Su Tang saw them and waved a greeting before being taken by the staff to officially begin filming the advertisement.

They filmed from morning until past 12 o’clock at night before finishing. During the filming process, Wen Lang had a burst of inspiration and added several plot shots for Su Tang. Combined with the Omega’s innate expressiveness, Moonlight and Su Tang truly achieved a perfect combination.

The high-intensity filming and high level of concentration made Su Tang fall asleep in the car on the way home again. When they arrived home, Ye Xiansheng went downstairs to carry him back.

Even though he was asleep, Su Tang’s beautiful little face still couldn’t hide his exhaustion. Ye Chiyu was heartbroken, and his warm fingertips rubbed gently over the little fellow’s somewhat pale face.

“Hard work, my treasure.”

Ye Chiyu placed the Omega on the bed and settled him. Without a word, he made a phone call to Wen Lang, who hadn’t arrived home yet, to hold him accountable, scaring Wen Lang into promising he would never let his sister-in-law be this tired again.

“You better not dare.”

Ye Chiyu scolded coldly and snapped the phone shut.

Wen Lang looked at the phone, which was giving a busy signal, speechlessly and sent a message to his Yangyang very aggrievedly.

[Wuwuwu, Yangyang, I was threatened by my brother. Can you come to my house tomorrow to soothe my wounded soul? /Crying cat head, please~]

Originally, he didn’t expect Ning Yang to reply at this late hour, but Ning Yang’s reply came very quickly.

[I heard you exhausted my Tang Bao. You deserve it. Get lost. I’m not going to your house.]

Having unexpectedly received a reply, Wen Lang was overjoyed. His brain turned, and he replied very shamelessly— [It’s fine if you don’t come to my house. I’ll go find you tomorrow, heehee!]

Probably angered by his thick skin, Ning Yang didn’t reply.

But in Wen Lang’s view, if Yangyang didn’t say no, then it was a yes!

The day after the advertisement filming, Su Tang went with Jiang Cha to the neighboring F City to meet the director of An Yong (Dark Surges).

They had a meal with several producers and writers. At the director’s request, Su Tang performed a scene impromptu while looking at the script. The delicate emotional changes and the tension in the performance surprised Director Chu Xiaoyun again.

He had originally chosen Su Tang considering the high degree of fit between Su Tang’s image and age with the protagonist, Chen Nuo. Combined with the fact that his acting skills were indeed among the best of the young actors in the same age group, he had contacted Jiang Cha.

Although Su Tang didn’t look old, the short performance just now clearly showed he had already contemplated the character of Chen Nuo very well and had carefully digested the script.

“Not bad,” Chu Xiaoyun took the lead in applauding, casting a look of praise at Su Tang. “Xiao Su, I must say you really surprised me. No one is more suitable for the role of Chen Nuo than you.”

After Su Tang said thank you, Jiang Cha took over the conversation and clinked glasses with Chu Xiaoyun.

“Director Chu overpraises him. Our Su Tang still has a lot of room for improvement. When he joins the set, I’ll need you to help train him well. I’ll drink this glass first as a thank you for Director Chu’s affirmation of our Xiao Tang.”

“Of course.”

Having known beforehand that Su Tang couldn’t drink, Chu Xiaoyun—who was absolutely talented in filmmaking and possessed the pride of a literary and artistic worker—was unwilling to let a junior like Su Tang be forced to drink with old drunks like them.

Jiang Cha had previously mentioned that Su Tang had a very low alcohol tolerance and would collapse after one glass, so as soon as they sat down today, he directly poured juice for Su Tang, and the others understood.

“Xiao Su, although you are already very thin now, to perfectly fit the role of Chen Nuo, we will announce your role in An Yong in the next couple of days, and you will formally join the set to begin filming next month. In these next two weeks or so, you must lose at least ten more pounds. You must look gaunt visually. Can you do it?”

Chu Xiaoyun asked while studying Su Tang.

To serve the role, he didn’t even need to think for a second. Su Tang immediately nodded. “Director Chu, don’t worry, I can do it.”

“Mm.”

Chu Xiaoyun nodded with a smile, looking appreciative and very satisfied with Su Tang’s decisiveness.

“One more thing. You little fellow are simply too fair. Try to see if you can get a tan at home. Of course, this point isn’t mandatory. If you really can’t get a tan, we can just apply tanning powder to you when filming starts.”

Getting a tan… hmm, it should be simpler than losing weight…

Su Tang felt that this didn’t seem difficult and nodded firmly.

“Okay, Director. I’ll work hard!”

Chu Xiaoyun liked the way young people were full of energy and laughed loudly.

“Hahaha, good lad!”

Su Tang giggled and poured wine for the main creators present. Halfway through the meal, the other lead actors finally arrived. They were all veteran actors in the domestic acting circle—all seniors whose names Su Tang could call out. Jiang Ning, who he had collaborated with in Shi Xue, was actually among them, playing the leader of the border drug-trafficking gang, Jin Song.

Teacher Jiang was playing a villain again. Su Tang couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of Jiang Ning’s nickname as a “villain professional” and greeted Jiang Ning with a smile.

Before today, Chu Xiaoyun had kept the casting for An Yong secret. Jiang Ning also hadn’t expected to collaborate with Su Tang again so soon and was in a very good mood.

After the meal, the several important lead actors could be considered to have met each other. Although they were surprised that the role of Chen Nuo had been taken by such a newcomer who had just debuted, they believed in Chu Xiaoyun’s eye, so they were quite friendly to Su Tang.

They held a script reading session after dinner. Su Tang successfully exchanged contact information with them. When they were about to go home at the entrance, they actually felt a sort of mutual appreciation and were somewhat reluctant to leave.

“See you on set.”

Su Tang watched everyone leave before getting into the car back to S City.

“Let’s go home.”

Su Tang agilely slid into the car, stretched, and then suddenly discovered that Jiang Cha and Hu Baobao were not in the car.

“Mm, baby, we’re going home.”

A familiar voice came from the driver’s seat. His Alpha turned his head from the driver’s seat and looked at him, extending an invitation.

“Ye Xiansheng!!”

Su Tang let out a cry of surprise and immediately rushed out of the car, pulled open the driver’s door, and threw himself into Ye Xiansheng’s arms.

“How come you came?”

The little Omega’s moist and beautiful eyes were filled with the joy of the Alpha’s sudden appearance.

Ye Chiyu gave a light laugh.

“I came to pick up my baby to go home.”

Translator’s Note: “Dog food” (狗粮 – gǒu liĂĄng) is Chinese internet slang for public displays of affection (PDA) from a couple! Also, “Xiao Tang” or “Tang Bao” (唐宝 – TĂĄng bǎo) is a super sweet nickname for our protagonist. It looks like Su Tang is about to start a very challenging movie role! Will he be able to handle the weight loss? See you in the next chapter!
