Chapter 63: Swallowing a Big Guy

Chi Wan followed Team One as they explored forward. The massive Black Wolf King protected everyone as it led the way.
Amidst the dust, plant corpses intertwined with those of Polluted Entities. Stepping down produced a “squelching” sound of compression, and thick, viscous fluid covered the ground.
The surrounding Polluted Entities caught the scent of living humans and continued to surge out!
There were avian types, reptilian types, and various unknown creatures, but without exception, they were all controlled several meters away from the team by Shi Ye’s Ability, unable to move.
The Sentinels were well-trained and immediately opened fire.
Chi Wan constructed mental shields and provided mental guidance while also firing her gun.
Holding the Spirit Snake 6-88, the blue-green ion bullets she fired were nearly transparent upon exit, but erupted with powerful force upon striking the bodies of the Polluted Entities!
With one shot, she directly blew apart the upper body of an ordinary Polluted Entity!

Rocks fell, and all the Sentinels dodged quickly.
The entity was heavily injured and clearly enraged. With the determination to perish together, it exhausted all its energy.
The strong wind became extremely violent.
Vision was blocked again. Chi Wan calmly hid behind a giant rock and used her Mental Entity to sense the entity’s location, activating her energy!
The entity engaged with Shi Ye sensed the attack of another energy. For a moment, its essence seemed as if it were about to be pulled out!
The momentary tug on its essence naturally drew Shi Ye’s attention.
The high-level mutated stone monster suddenly went mad and turned its direction to smash downward!
“Where did this bizarre skill come from? To actually want to swallow my essence—you’re looking for death!”
It was clearly enraged and went straight for Chi Wan!
Sensing its attack, Chi Wan turned to run, but the speed of the falling rock was too fast. In an instant, it was about to crush her head!

As she flew into the air, Chi Wan knew she was saved. She turned to look back. Above the giant rock, Shi Ye, holding his longsword, slid down rapidly, the blade striking sparks all the way!
The entire giant stone arm was cut in half!
Then the giant Wolf King leapt up, carrying Chi Wan straight toward Shi Ye.
He reached out his hand toward her. In the flying sand, his black-and-red-tinged eyes were calm and steady:
“I need you.”
Chi Wan noticed the excessively high Pollution and Violence values on his light-brain and grabbed his hand without a second thought.
The moment she was enveloped by his large palm, she was pulled into his embrace.
Silver energy quickly linked to him.
A sense of satisfaction and fullness instantly occupied Shi Ye’s whole body. He looked down at the girl in his arms and suddenly felt that his energy seemed to have reached its peak.
In the strong wind, the giant stone monster that had lost both long arms had gone insane. It looked angrily at the two humans who were hugging in front of it—the two culprits who had brought it to this state—and smashed its head down with all its might!
The giant rock, blotting out the sky like a mountain, pressed down with an intense sense of suffocation.
However, in the next instant, the black-red energy on Shi Ye’s body surged out. Under the enhancement, his Control Ability doubled in power.
He forcibly controlled the entire body of the giant rock!
Fear appeared in the entity’s only remaining black eye.
The next second, under the gaze of all the Sentinels, its massive stone head was forcibly twisted 360 degrees, breaking off and smashing to pieces on the ground!
The stone body, having lost its head, also crashed down, kicking up a sky full of dust.
“Eat it.”
Shi Ye brought Chi Wan to the head of the Polluted Entity, which had only one breath left.

Seeing her stubborn appearance, Shi Ye held out his palm:
“If you can’t digest it, spit it out.”
Looking at the hand in a black leather glove so close at hand, Chi Wan covered her mouth, frowned, and stepped back.
Her stubborn little face shook repeatedly.
It wasn’t easy to eat a high-level Polluted Entity—how could she spit it out!
Shi Ye was amused by her appearance. He simply stood up to retrieve the Crystal and looked at the Sentinels surrounding the dead mutated stone monster:
“Proceed with caution. There are more high-level entities nearby.”
“Yes, Commander!”
Chi Wan looked at his back, only to find that the combat suit on his back had been completely worn away, exposing a section of scraped skin.
However, beneath the wound on that skin, she could faintly see mechanical components.
Her eyes widened, and then she heard Kui An’s voice from behind:
“Little Wanwan, your battle just now was so cool! My blood is boiling!”
Seeing Chi Wan staring at Shi Ye’s back in a daze, Kui An lowered her voice:
“Commander Shi’s body was once modified with machinery. It’s said that he suffered very serious injuries back then and had to be modified to survive.”
“That’s why he finds it even harder than ordinary Sentinels to resist the side effects of Violence and Pollution values.”
This was the first time Chi Wan had heard of Shi Ye’s past.
No wonder…
The original host was so malicious, yet he was the only Commander among the seven male leads who would endure his disgust and frequently seek her out for Soothing.
