Chapter 29: So Soft, So Fierce
Liang Yuhang pinched his chin and pushed him back. “Look clearly at who I am.”
Mu Feng’s pleasure was interrupted, and his face was full of impatience as he chased after him for another kiss.
He had no technique, just a chaotic lack of order.
In his dream, Liang Yuhang was indeed as fierce as his “XP” (sexual preference) dictated. His mouth was going to be ruined, Mu Feng thought dazedly.
“This is simply insane.” A fire was racing through Liang Yuhang.
So he pushed the person down, reached out and pinned his neck into the fluffy pillow, making him unable to move.
His entire face was covered, and Mu Feng felt a bit of oxygen deprivation, his lips slightly parted: “Want…”
Liang Yuhang looked down at him.
He had always felt Mu Feng was still a kid and had restrained himself from using particularly filthy words to describe him.
But now, the pajamas had been messily pulled up by his own movements, and that stretch of waist was exposed, swaying here and there.
He really was… asking for it.
He slapped the other’s lower back, scolding, “Stop moving.”
The force wasn’t light. Mu Feng’s consciousness gradually cleared from its haze. His eyes were still closed, but he could feel the solid sensation where the hand had landed.
Mu Feng: !!!!
Wait, what’s the situation? That… wasn’t a dream?
He was at Liang Yuhang’s house.
He was just kissing someone.
He… had forcibly kissed Professor Liang!!!
Heavens, how could a person cause such a massive disaster?
Mu Feng didn’t dare open his eyes, even keeping his breathing very light, but that hand still didn’t move. His whole body was stiff.
“Who exactly did you take me for?” Liang Yuhang’s voice was deep and heavy.
Mu Feng couldn’t see his expression and didn’t dare answer; he could only play dead.
Please, please, stop asking. If you ask again, I’m going to run away to the Ninth Galaxy overnight.
If he admitted it, he wouldn’t even have to wait for tomorrow; he’d probably be kicked out tonight.
Seeing that he didn’t speak, Liang Yuhang didn’t know who to vent his frustration on; he just stared at him in silence.
His rut seemed to be coming early.
He closed his eyes, let go, and strode back to his own room, entering the bathroom.
Mu Feng let out a massive sigh of relief, reaching up to cover his burning face. “How am I supposed to face Professor Liang tomorrow?”
But in his memory, he repeatedly relished the feeling.
Professor Liang’s lips were so soft.
Professor Liang’s slap was so fierce.
What should he do? He liked both so much.
Mu Feng couldn’t sleep, and he didn’t dare knock on Liang Yuhang’s door. Not knowing who to ask for help, he slid his phone open again.
[M]: Major Xie, are you awake?
[M]: It’s 2 AM and you haven’t slept. Do you have something on your mind?
[xxc: What do you think? Are you launching a retaliatory strike for my previous harassment?]
[M]: No, really, no. I just have a question I want to ask for your advice.
[xxc: Say it.]
[M]: I wasn’t very clear-headed while sleeping just now and I forcibly kissed my crush. What do you do?
[xxc: You’re that fierce?]
Mu Feng grabbed his messy hair, talking to himself: “I also feel like I was a bit too fierce.”
Xie Xingchen probably took a moment to digest it before sending the next line.
[xxc: I’m guessing your crush is the cold type. Just play dead for now.]
[M]: I thought so too.
[M]: Alright, I won’t bother your pining anymore. You continue.
Mu Feng sat on the bed for a long time before he finally heard the shower stop in the room next door.
He quickly lay down, pulling the quilt over his head to play dead.
Likely because he was too tired, he drifted off into a hazy sleep again. By the time he woke up, there was no one left in the house.
[There’s something at the base, so I went back first. Breakfast is on the table.]
While drinking milk, Mu Feng’s face was twisted in pain. “Sure enough, he’s started avoiding me. He must think I’m a pervert.”
[The tail number 0833 black diamond card has reached its limit. Please contact the SVIP manager to help you increase the limit. Thank you for your support.]
Mu Feng gasped. You really know how to spend, Xiao Jiang.
He finished breakfast and hurried back to the base dormitory in a taxi, only to see Zhou Tiantian. “Where is Jiang Yu’an?”
“Ah, he maxed out your card last night. In the end, Officer Lu took him back. He’s probably still crying right now.”
Zhou Tiantian stared at his lips. “What’s wrong with your mouth?”
“Huh? Is it very obvious?” Mu Feng felt a bit guilty. “Must be an allergy. I’m going to find Xiao Jiang.”
[M]: Is Xiao Jiang with you, Brother Lu Zhuo?
Mu Feng rushed over and found that Liang Yuhang was actually there too.
The man still had gauze on his arm, and he looked to be in a very bad mood, having completely reverted to the previous, unapproachable Liang Yuhang.
Their eyes met, and Mu Feng felt a strange awkwardness, as if meeting again after a drunken mistake.
He became even more guilty. “Morning, Professor Liang.”
Liang Yuhang gave a slight nod, acting very aloof; the atmosphere dropped to freezing point.
As soon as Jiang Yu’an saw his ally, he wailed while hugging him, “You just left me there last night! You have no idea, I almost got stuck there washing dishes to pay off the debt.”
Lu Zhuo sneered. “Serves you right.”
Mu Feng clicked his tongue. “You managed to max out my card? You were acting like a big shot with my money again. Remember to pay me back next month, with interest. Thanks.”
“Mu Bao, you’re so heartless, waaaaah.” Jiang Yu’an looked up, his gaze falling on Mu Feng’s face as he asked the same question, “What’s wrong with your mouth?”
Mu Feng felt Liang Yuhang’s gaze sweep over him.
He smiled very innocently, trying to brush it off: “I don’t know. An allergy, probably. It must have been the seafood on the cruise ship last night. Definitely!”
Liang Yuhang let out a soft snort.
“By the way, didn’t you two go back to the base to do practical drills last night…” Jiang Yu’an caught the key point. “Why is one person’s mouth injured and the other’s hand injured?”
Mu Feng started coughing violently.
This guy, how come he’s suddenly so sharp about this kind of thing?
Lu Zhuo had a look on his face as if he had seen through everything. “Maybe they got halfway through and had a disagreement, then picked a fight.”
Mu Feng: “…”
Jiang Yu’an felt a surge of respect, giving a thumbs up. “You actually dared to beat Liang Yuhang like that? You’re too awesome. From today on, I’m changing your name to ‘Mu Hero.’ Come, Mu Hero, here’s the porridge I ordered for you.”
Please, Xiao Jiang, just shut up.
Mu Feng felt his vision go dark. “Can you say less? If you use your toes to think, you’d know that’s impossible. Your brain must have had an allergic reaction to the seafood too.”
Jiang Yu’an: !!!!
What a lethal mouth! He really was living in a toxic zone; he had been scolded by Lu Zhuo all night, and now he had taken another critical hit this morning.
Mu Feng lowered his head to drink the porridge.
“Didn’t get enough to eat this morning?” Liang Yuhang finally spoke.
Mu Feng almost choked to death. Professor Liang, that sentence is way too ambiguous!
“What do you mean?” Jiang Yu’an’s eyes widened. “Last night, you two didn’t…”
What are they eating in the morning? It’s so hard to guess!
Damn it, he knew there was a problem with them both disappearing at such an ambiguous time last night.
“No, nothing happened. Don’t let your imagination run wild,” Mu Feng clarified. “I just told Professor Liang that I bought my own breakfast.”
As he finished speaking, he felt the look Liang Yuhang gave him was like looking at a scumbag.
What was Mu Feng supposed to say?
Sumimasen, Professor Liang, I really didn’t mean to forcibly kiss you.
He couldn’t say those words.
“I still think it’s very strange.” Jiang Yu’an scanned the two of them suspiciously, trying to catch them in the act. “That mouth of yours looks very much like it was caused by… something.”
Mu Feng looked up at Lu Zhuo. “I think, considering Xiao Jiang snuck out to play last night and even maxed out my card, you should educate him more.”
“I think so too,” Lu Zhuo said. “Let’s suspend his card for another month then. Since he’s staying at the base anyway, he can eat at the cafeteria every day.”
Jiang Yu’an: !!!!!
He stared with wide eyes. “Brother, why are you backstabbing me? Did the ship of our friendship sink in the sea last night?”
Mu Feng shrugged slightly. “My card can’t be used either. I haven’t blamed you, so be content. I have to eat at the cafeteria with you every day too.”
Why has the young master of a wealthy family fallen to such a state?
Jiang Yu’an covered his face in pain. “I can’t live like this! This is simply a living hell!”
Liang Yuhang watched as Mu Feng forced down another large bowl of porridge, then said, “Come to my office.”
Mu Feng gave an “oh,” getting up slowly, completely unwilling.
Is he going to start settling the score now?
Save me. Someone save me.
He saw 0717 from a distance, and it was like seeing a savior. “Good morning! Did you sleep well last night?”
“Didn’t sleep. Busy all night.”
0717 wasn’t lively either; its whole body exuded the resentment of a worker who wanted to die. “Now I’m planning to have a thirty-minute nap before getting up for work.”
Great. Even 0717 couldn’t help him.
Liang Yuhang closed the door and handed over some documents, speaking officially, “This is the topic for the practical drill. Look at it first. It’s related to medicinal research, so it should be in your area of interest.”
So cold. It’s like we’re back at square one.
Mu Feng stole a glance at him, eventually unable to stop himself from saying, “Why are you being so cold?”
“What do you think?” Liang Yuhang threw the question back.
Mu Feng played dumb, reaching up to touch his mouth. “The allergy hurts so much. Do you have any ointment here? Help me apply some.”
Liang Yuhang gave a half-smile, pulled open a cabinet, and took out a tube of ointment. “Aren’t you going to ask how this injury came about?”
“Wasn’t it… a seafood allergy?” Mu Feng hadn’t expected him to be so direct. “Could it be that… it isn’t?”
“I bit it,” Liang Yuhang said.
Mu Feng: !!!!
He actually just said it out loud! How am I supposed to respond?
His brain spun wildly, using every bit of intelligence he possessed. “Ah? How could that be? I don’t have the slightest impression of it.”
“You were sleeping and, not knowing who you took me for, you forcibly kissed me.”
Liang Yuhang accused, “I couldn’t push you off, so I bit.”
Mu Feng utilized his acting skills, pointing at himself. “Me? Could I do such a thing?”
Liang Yuhang stared at him, speaking slowly: “If you don’t believe me, we can ask 0717 to pull the surveillance.”
Mu Feng: “…”
It’s over. Caught red-handed, and there’s surveillance too! Why does he record everything?!!!
Does that mean if he ever has a ‘battle’ with Liang Yuhang in the future, he’ll record that too?!!!
Mu Feng waved his hands repeatedly, his cheeks turning a bright shade of pink. “No need to look! No need! I believe you! I really deserve to die. I must have drunk too much. Please don’t take it to heart.”
Liang Yuhang teased him wickedly: “How do you plan to compensate me?”
Mu Feng stared at the other’s lips. The shape was sexy, the corners straight—looking very cold, but he remembered they were very soft.
Just the thought made him feel like he was about to boil over.
Mu Feng moved toward him slowly, looking up, the distance closing, their breathing intertwining.
“How about… you bite me two more times to vent your frustration?”
