Tonight I Become My Male God’s Kitten—Lick Him! chapter 30

Chapter 30: Indeed About to Explode

Liang Yuhang leaned half-against the desk. He didn’t dodge, only lowering his eyes. “Where?”

Mu Feng’s breath hitched for a beat.

Could he actually choose the location?

The mouth, the collarbone, the lower back, or even further down—he could accept any of it.

But he didn’t dare say those words aloud, for fear of being labeled a pervert.

“Wherever. Anything is fine.” Mu Feng stared at him. “As long as you’re happy.”

Liang Yuhang gave a smile that wasn’t quite a smile. “Don’t you have someone you like? Yet you just let anyone kiss you. You’re quite the scumbag.”

Mu Feng hadn’t expected him to bring that up.

He felt like his brain had been spinning non-stop since he woke up this morning. He said guiltily, “Isn’t this… because I want to compensate you?”

“Treating me as a substitute for someone else.” Liang Yuhang reached out and patted his face. “And here you are, asking for a reward.”

“I am not.” Mu Feng was unreasonable yet emboldened. “If you insist on thinking that way, there’s nothing I can do.”

Liang Yuhang hummed. “That sentence right there is one of the classic lines from the ‘Scumbag’s Handbook.'”

Mu Feng: “………”

Fine, a scumbag it is. The label of “scumbag” was slightly better than “stalker pervert.”

He asked, “So, are you going to bite me or not?”

Liang Yuhang rejected him decisively. “No. That would be letting you off too easy.”

He had no idea whose “substitute” he was being used as.

Mu Feng felt a slight pang of regret. “Alright. Then can you help me apply the ointment? My mouth hurts. You said it yourself before—if I have a request, I should voice it.”

The boy had actually learned to use his own teachings against him.

Liang Yuhang squeezed out a bit of ointment and raised his hand to smear it over Mu Feng’s lips, feeling the soft texture.

When Mu Feng had chased after him to kiss him, his lips had been very hot.

“If you kiss people randomly again, I’ll tie you up.” Liang Yuhang’s finger pressed down slightly, intentionally making him feel a sting of pain.

Mu Feng took a sharp, shallow breath, his speech slightly slurred. “No more. Absolutely no more.”

“Take the report.” Liang Yuhang tossed the file into his arms. “Go.”

Mu Feng stood there, unmoving, as if possessed by 0717. “You’re injured and can’t perform surgery. What are your plans for today? I can come along.”

“I’m going for a check-up. Are you coming?” Liang Yuhang’s tone was neither hot nor cold.

“A check-up for what? Are you sick?” Mu Feng looked him up and down. Aside from his lips being a bit pale, he looked sturdy enough to knock over a bull.

Liang Yuhang didn’t hide it. “A routine check. It seems my susceptibility period is coming early. You’re an Omega—are you sure you want to come?”

“Don’t discriminate against Omegas. I have a bracelet.” Mu Feng shook his hand, and the little bell on it gave a soft chime. “Let’s go together. After all, you got injured because you went home to pick me up.”

Liang Yuhang didn’t say anything, simply heading out on his own.

They went to the third floor for blood draws and tests, then took the report to Professor Zhang.

Mu Feng poked his head out from behind, curious. “You can read it yourself, can’t you? Why give it to the old man?”

“What is wrong with you, kid? I treat him like a son; can’t I show some concern?” Zhang Luyan slapped the back of Mu Feng’s head and looked down at the report.

Mu Feng curled his lip. “I want to see too.”

“You wouldn’t understand it anyway. You score seventh once and suddenly think you’re a medical genius.”

Zhang Luyan flipped through several hormone records. “Liang Yuhang, you really need to find an Omega quickly. Look at these indicators—they’re all about to explode.”

Liang Yuhang thought to himself: It indeed felt like things were about to explode last night.

With his hand injured and inconvenient, he had taken a cold shower for half an hour, resulting in him being in a very irritable mood all day.

He wished he could grab the culprit and give them a good beating.

Mu Feng frowned. “Why must it be an Omega?”

Zhang Luyan glanced at him, hesitating. “You’re an adult, right?”

Mu Feng was very dissatisfied with the age discrimination here. “I’m almost nineteen. I’m not a child.”

“His hormones are over the limit and his spiritual power is too strong. If he doesn’t find an Omega, something will go wrong sooner or later.”

Zhang Luyan acted like every parent urging their child to find a partner. “Liang Yuhang, you’re twenty-four. Are you planning to stifle yourself to death?”

Liang Yuhang had heard these words many times. “………I have no such intention.”

Mu Feng muttered, “Does it have to be an Omega? Can’t an Alpha do it?”

“You’ve studied for nothing.” Zhang Luyan looked at him as if he were an idiot. “If you pair him with an Alpha, it wouldn’t be ‘sparks flying’; it would be a comet crashing into the moon.”

Mu Feng was extremely unhappy.

Their second genders were already a mountain-sized obstacle between them, and now he had to deal with Liang Yuhang’s specific constitution.

It felt like every number on that chart was reminding him that they weren’t a match at all.

Liang Yuhang turned to look at him. “You wouldn’t be so guilty that you’d try to find an Alpha to pimp out to me, would you? There’s no need.”

Mu Feng: “………I didn’t say that.”

Liang Yuhang took back the report and turned to leave.

Zhang Luyan was still nagging, “Get it on the schedule. Oh right, I ran into President Mu yesterday. He said Mu Shan offended you a bit before and wants to invite you and Jingyi to a family dinner tonight. You should have received the message this morning. Does Mu Feng not know?”

“I don’t know.” Mu Feng shook his head. “They wouldn’t think of me.”

Zhang Luyan opened his mouth. “Ah, it’s fine. You can just go back with Yuhang today. Isn’t your sister quite pretty? And she’s an Omega. You should all meet up.”

Mu Feng felt his head growing two sizes larger. “…………Could you please stop playing matchmaker?”

His secret crush turning into his brother-in-law? That was a nightmare beyond nightmares.

Liang Yuhang glanced at Mu Feng, knowing his relationship with his family was poor. “If you don’t want to go, forget it.”

“I’ll go. I haven’t been home in a long time anyway.” Mu Feng thought to himself that if he wasn’t there and they really started meddling with a “mandarin duck” match, everything would truly blow up.

Clutching his practical report, he reported to Liang Yuhang, “I’ll be in the lab today. See you tonight.”

Liang Yuhang sensed he was in a bad mood, likely because he was going home to cause a scene.

Mu Feng sat in the lab, his mind filled with thoughts of Liang Yuhang needing an Omega. It was frustrating.

Simply faking his physical exam to look like an Omega wasn’t enough. It would be best if… he could have the pheromones of a pseudo-Omega.

That way, when Liang Yuhang needed it, he… would have a chance.

“Mu Bao, didn’t the yacht of our friendship capsize? Why did you call me?” Jiang Yuan arrived with Zhou Tiantian after receiving his message.

Mu Feng’s expression was very kind. “My current project is researching Omega hormones. Let me draw some blood.”

“Oh, you really plan on becoming a top student? Starting project research already?”

Jiang Yuan said sarcastically, “…………I’m asking you seriously, have I offended you somewhere lately?”

“After I’m done drawing, you don’t have to pay back the… interest on that maxed-out card.” Mu Feng coaxed and deceived. “Besides, I think your bloodline is very noble. It has great research value.”

This praise made Jiang Yuan feel great. He rolled up his sleeve. “Come, draw. I like the sound of that.”

Mu Feng drew three full tubes, then whispered like a demon, “Tiantian? Your turn. I want a sample for comparison.”

Jiang Yuan stared at him for a few seconds. “The way you love scientific research right now looks exactly like you’ve been cursed by Liang Yuhang. It’s terrifying. I need to find a medium to perform an exorcism on you.”

Zhou Tiantian asked sincerely, “He gets his interest waived. My bloodline is a bit worse—how many bucks can I sell it for?”

Mu Feng was very generous. “I’ll cover your four years of tuition. How about it?”

“Draw! Draw a big tube! If the left hand isn’t enough, draw from the right!” Zhou Tiantian heroically rolled up his sleeves. “I am willing to sacrifice myself for science.”

Mu Feng busied himself in the lab until nightfall.

When Liang Yuhang came to pick him up, he said, “0717 said you were specifically catching Omegas in the hall to draw their blood. Your recent mental state is concerning.”

“He’s spreading rumors. No such thing happened.” Mu Feng wrinkled his nose. “I only drew from my two roommates.”

“What are you trying to do?” Liang Yuhang turned to look at him. “Not going to report to me?”

Mu Feng was vague. “Not everything has to be reported to you, right?”

As soon as he said that, he saw Liang Yuhang’s expression grow a degree colder.

Great. After the forced kiss, he had managed to make him angry again. Well done.

He hadn’t noticed before that Liang Yuhang was so prone to anger. He was like a princess—so hard to serve.

“Get in the car,” Liang Yuhang said.

See? His tone wasn’t very patient either.

Mu Feng looked at him through the car’s rearview mirror and decided to ease the atmosphere. “When we get home in a bit, I’ll play the mute. Don’t think I’m ignoring you.”

“Since you hate going home so much, why go?” Liang Yuhang slowly turned the steering wheel.

Mu Feng thought: Because I’m afraid I’ll wake up and find you’ve become my brother-in-law.

What he actually said was, “I’m afraid they’ll bully you.”

It was like a kitten standing behind a big lion, chirping and shouting about how it was going to protect the lion—it was hilarious.

Liang Yuhang couldn’t help but chuckle at his own mental image. “Bully me? Who would dare? Why exactly do you insist on going back?”

“I’m afraid of you becoming my brother-in-law. If they try to force a match, I’ll cause a mess.”

Mu Feng could only rely on sincerity as his ultimate weapon. “It’s very strange, right? Truly strange. Especially since last night I even for—”

Liang Yuhang shot him a casual glance.

Mu Feng made a “zip it” gesture. “Forget I said anything. I’ll take this matter to my grave.”

When they were almost there, Liang Yuhang finally replied, “It won’t happen. I’m not interested in your sister.”

He got out of the car, and Mu Feng followed. The moment Mu Feng made eye contact with Mu Shan, his expression turned cold.

“It seems my younger brother has been very close to Colonel Liang lately.” Mu Shan smiled slightly. “But there’s an interesting thing. I wonder if Colonel Liang has heard of it.”

Mu Feng’s face went completely pale. “What nonsense are you trying to spout?”

“So nervous. Are you afraid that after Colonel Liang finds out, he won’t be willing to protect you anymore?”

Mu Shan lowered his voice. “Our eldest sister was killed by him. He was that wicked at thirteen. Even though the little brat refused to admit it and there was no evidence, so the matter was dropped… it is the truth.”

“No.” Mu Feng’s voice was trembling. “It really wasn’t.”

Mu Feng saw Liang Yuhang turn his head to look at him, his gaze complex.

Despite it being the height of summer, it felt like he was standing in a world of ice and snow. He lost all sensation in his hands and feet.

“You two have a chat. Don’t be blinded by his innocent appearance, Colonel Liang.” Mu Shan reached out and patted Liang Yuhang’s shoulder. “About the phone call last time… I am truly sorry.”

Mu Feng just stood there, at the entrance of this mansion he had wanted to escape countless times, not knowing where to go.

He turned around and started walking in the opposite direction in a daze.

Liang Yuhang reached out and grabbed him. “Where are you going?”

“You think I’m very wicked too, don’t you, Teacher Liang?” Mu Feng felt his face was very wet; he didn’t know if it had started raining. “But it really wasn’t me.”

But Liang Yuhang was only thinking: This kid is truly pitiful. After so long, he had learned to fight back, but he hadn’t learned how to defend himself with words.

Over and over, he could only say “it wasn’t me,” as if the moment he was framed, he reverted to that lost and helpless thirteen-year-old.

Liang Yuhang reached out and wiped away his tears. “I believe you. If you say it wasn’t you, then I believe you.”
