Chapter 81: Don’t Call Me Brother
When Xie Qiang went to get food at the canteen, she felt the atmosphere around her was very strange.
She looked around in confusion, only to see all the Sentinels eating with their heads down.
It was way too quiet; no one was talking.
She shook her head, carried her tray to a corner, and focused on her meal.
The moment she looked down, all the Sentinels immediately opened their optical computers and began typing away.
[I bet it’s Forced Love! If he offered himself up, how could Commander Sen Ji let the Princess come to eat alone?]
[I vote for Free Delivery! Given the Princess’s temper, if it were Forced Love, she’d definitely force Commander Sen Ji to come with her instead of eating alone!]
[I agree with the person above. He must have been unsatisfactory in bed, so she thinks he’s not worth showing off.]
[Sss…]
[Eww!]
[Oh ho~]
Xie Qiang chewed her food, feeling her ears itch. She rubbed them and muttered, “Is my skin too dry?”
She had indeed sweated a lot last night, though she felt quite refreshed when she woke up this morning.
After finishing her meal, Xie Qiang opened her optical computer and messaged Hong Que.
[Xie Qiang: Why did you leave early last night? Is Mo Yin’s injury healed?]
[Hong Que: Yes. From now on, stay ten meters away from me.]
Xie Qiang: ?
She once again couldn’t keep up with this man’s train of thought.
[Xie Qiang: Then have you seen Sen Ji? How… how does he look?]
[Hong Que: Why are you asking? Did you two do something after I left?!]
[Xie Qiang: …Answer me first!]
In the meeting room, Hong Que looked up at Sen Ji beside him. He saw Sen Ji unhurriedly retracting his gaze and saying to the Vice Commander staying at the base, “The Zerg Queen is on the run. This is our chance to clear the Zerg from the Third Zone. Dispatch half of the Sentinels from the base to support the crusade in the wormhole.”
Hong Que furrowed his brows, turned away to hide his optical computer, and continued messaging.
[Hong Que: Same as usual. He’s putting on an act.]
[Xie Qiang: Does he look bitter, furious, or deeply resentful?]
She needs to confirm all three emotions?
Hong Que had no choice but to look at Sen Ji again. Once again, he caught him unhurriedly retracting his gaze.
Hong Que finally realized: ?
He keeps staring at me. Is he expressing dissatisfaction with me slacking off during the meeting?
Hong Que let out a tsk and messaged Xie Qiang back.
[Hong Que: He looks very dissatisfied.]
Receiving this message, Xie Qiang let out a troubled sigh. “If I leave him alone for a few days, will he cool off on his own?”
Around her, the Sentinels were picking at their empty trays. They were leaning slightly toward Xie Qiang. When they heard her soft, kitten-like complaint, their eyes widened.
[It’s Forced Love! It’s Forced Love, brothers! Commander Sen Ji is angry after being forced, and the Princess is planning to let him cool off on his own!]
[The Free Delivery faction disagrees! Maybe Commander Sen Ji failed to deliver himself and got angry, but our noble Princess obviously won’t spoil him and just shut him down!]
[Um… couldn’t it be that they’re mutually in love, but Commander Sen Ji is too clingy and the Princess wanted some private space, which led to a fight?]
Forced Love Faction: [Shut up.]
Free Delivery Faction: [Shut up.]
The Sentinel who wanted a bit of pure romance silently stopped typing.
Why do I have to shut up!
He thinks they’re a pure romance!
Xie Qiang sat there agonizing for a while before finally deciding to wait and see.
What if Sen Ji took the initiative to reconcile after cooling off for a few days?
After clearing her tray, Xie Qiang messaged Shu Fenghua. She learned that Mo Yin’s wound had healed and that he had left the treatment area long ago.
…
Mo Yin stood at the lounge door, staring down at his optical computer with a deep frown.
On the screen were the messages he had sent to Hong Que last night. The intervals between each message were over ten minutes.
[Mo Yin: ?, ?]
[Mo Yin: ?]
[Mo Yin: ?, ?, ?]
[Mo Yin: Where is brother? Is she still with you? Why aren’t you replying?]
[Mo Yin: Who is hitting brother’s stomach?]
[Mo Yin: Tell me where you are first.]
[Mo Yin: Brother?]
And the replies he had just received this morning.
[Mo Yin: Good morning, brother. Have you eaten? I miss you. Are you two finished? Can I go find her?]
[Hong Que: Stay away from Xie Qiang from now on! She’s terrifying!]
[Mo Yin: .]
[Hong Que: You love-brain! I don’t care about you anymore! I’m not ending up like you!]
[Mo Yin: Then is she back?]
[Mo Yin: ?]
[Mo Yin: Brother, are you hungry? I can bring you food.]
[Mo Yin: Brother?]
[Hong Que: Don’t call me brother :)]
Mo Yin, still frowning, pursed his lips. He didn’t want to sever their sibling relationship, so he carefully typed out a single word.
[Mo Yin: Junior.]
[Hong Que: ???]
[Hong Que: Are you trying to start a rebellion!]
“Mo Yin?” Returning to the lounge, Xie Qiang saw Mo Yin standing at the door. She immediately ran over. “When did you get back?”
She checked him over before asking, “Does your belly still hurt? Do you need me to purify you for a while?”
Mo Yin lowered his wrist. His gaze swept over Xie Qiang’s face. Suddenly, he leaned his face close to hers. As if he had sensed something, he frowned slightly.
Xie Qiang instinctively tensed her body. “What is it?”
The youth in black sniffed around her face. “Tiger scent. It’s very strong.”
She hadn’t expected Mo Yin to be able to smell it. Xie Qiang’s face turned red. She immediately took a few steps back to change the subject. “Have you eaten?”
Mo Yin didn’t answer. He took a few steps forward, closing in on the girl again. His nose moved from her face down to her shoulder. He muttered to himself, “It’s here, too.”
He pressed his hands against Xie Qiang’s shoulders, his nose continuing to sniff downward. “It’s here, here, and here… It’s everywhere.”
Xie Qiang’s body was stiff. Having just been through so much, she was incredibly sensitive. With the cool, aloof youth leaning in, she felt her whole body heating up. A sense of shame rose within her.
In a fluster, she reached out. Seeing Mo Yin leaning toward her waist to sniff the scent inside, she cupped his face and lifted it up. “Mo Yin! No more sniffing!”
The youth in black looked up, his brow furrowed slightly. Those wolf eyes stared straight at her. “I want it too.”
Want what?
Xie Qiang was completely dumbfounded, her voice shaky. “Why… why do you want it?”
“The scent. I don’t like it.” The youth in black revealed his wolf tail. The fluffy long tail was like a duster; he used it to pat Xie Qiang’s body, brushing away the thick tiger scent.
Then he pressed down on Xie Qiang’s head, signaling her to lower it. He used his soft wolf fur to gently brush against her cheeks and neck.
Finally, he knelt down. His wolf tail skillfully coiled around her legs, brushing from top to bottom. He even patted the tops of Xie Qiang’s feet a few times before looking up with satisfaction. His narrow wolf eyes were clear. “Fixed.”
Realizing she had misinterpreted him, Xie Qiang covered her face weakly.
Xie Qiang, what on earth were you thinking!
Mo Yin is so pure. How could he possibly want ‘that’!
T/n: our girl doesn’t know she’s surrounded by perverts~ hahahaha
