Chapter 107: (Warning) Zhou Xie’s Forced Kiss part 1
They chatted all the way to the doorway, only to realize that the group visiting Shi Ye’s dorm had unknowingly gained an extra member.
Shi Ye stopped in his tracks. “What are you doing?”
Zhou Xie naturally took over the conversation. “I just wanted to know what kind of treasure you’re hiding in your dorm that requires a guided tour.”
Having known him for so many years, Shi Ye couldn’t recall Zhou Xie ever being curious about him. One glance at those shady eyes and Shi Ye knew he was up to no good.
Oh, right. He was chasing Wen Rong.
Because Zhou Xie posed so little threat, Shi Ye had almost forgotten about that detail.
Wait, if he’s chasing Wen Rong, why is he disturbing my time with Wen Rong?
No, I must be generous.
After a brief internal struggle, Shi Ye took a deep breath and said as calmly as possible, “There’s chocolate in my room. Be careful, eating it might kill you.”
Zhou Xie scoffed at the threat, lifting his eyelids lazily to retort, “If you’re going to keep playing these roundabout games of calling people dogs, the Federal Kindergarten requires you to pay your tuition.”
“Fuck!”
Wen Rong, still out of the loop, didn’t understand why the two were suddenly at each other’s throats. He very politely took a step back, leaving the stage to them.
It was just a single step back—so light that his leather shoes didn’t even make a sound—yet both of them turned their heads in unison to stare at him.
Wen Rong: “…”
Shi Ye: “…”
Zhou Xie: “…”
The silence was finally broken by Zhou Xie receiving a call from Leo. On the other end of the line, Leo wailed pitifully, “Cousin, where are you? Why can’t I see you guys? Have you abandoned me? Do you not care about your cousin anymore?”
Zhou Xie impatiently cut him off. “Stop screaming.”
Wen Rong suggested, “Why don’t you go save him? It’s quite pitiful leaving him there all alone.”
Zhou Xie understood the underlying meaning. His gaze rested deeply on Wen Rong for two seconds of silence before he nodded.
Having won a small victory, Shi Ye let out a triumphant whistle.
However, his happiness didn’t last long. In the time it took to open the door, as luck would have it, the boy living opposite also opened his door.
At that moment, the three of them looked at each other, descending into a bizarrely awkward silence.
“Shi, Shi, Shi…” The boy’s large eyes darted between Wen Rong and Shi Ye before his mouth fell open, freezing into a gaping hole in the air.
“!!!”
Bam—
Shi Ye darted into his room with lightning speed. “I’m taking a shower, I’ll be out in a few minutes. Wait for me.”
Wen Rong was speechless.
He didn’t understand why Shi Ye had locked him out. He was a guy; what was so improper about entering another guy’s room?
Two minutes later, Wen Rong watched as a scandal involving him began to spread across the Black Pigeon Forum. He even began to question his life choices.
Title: [With eyes and the truth, Shi Ye is with my Male God]
[OP: As everyone knows, I live opposite the Male God and I am the first person to receive his morning greeting.]
[OP: Last night, I was in my dorm repeatedly watching the Male God’s past videos, attempting to learn a shred of his charm.]
[Comment: Get to the point! No one is interested in what you did with Wen Rong’s videos last night. How is Wen Rong with Shi Ye? You think you can spread rumors just because you have eyes?]
[Comment: Don’t slander my pure and innocent Male God.]
[OP: It’s absolutely true! I saw with my own eyes Wen Rong and Shi Ye coming out of Qi Yuan’s dorm together.]
[Comment: Wait a minute, what were they doing coming out of Qi Yuan’s dorm? Is this some kind of roleplay?]
[Comment: Explanation: Qi Yuan’s dorm is currently used by our Club President (Shi Ye). PS: The paperwork is formal and above board.]
[Comment: So my Male God and Shi Ye slept together last night?]
[Comment: Maybe they were just chatting under the covers. My pure Male God would absolutely never do anything with Shi Ye.]
[Comment: Correct. I also believe my Male God wouldn’t do anything with Shi Ye. He is so upright.]
[Comment: Verdict: OP is blind. Wen Rong and Shi Ye have no relationship.]
[Comment: Praying that Wen Rong and Shi Ye have no relationship.]
[Comment: Praying +1]
[Comment: Stop it. Can the gossip about Wen Rong end? I want to see other content.]
[Comment: Why can’t we discuss Wen Rong? Did Wen Rong provoke you?]
[Comment: Bro, you weren’t saying that when you called him ‘Wife.’ Did you forget we’re surfing with real names now?]
[Comment: I mean, since the dealer is about to be laid off, can we establish new board rules? From now on, discussion of Wen Rong’s romance is prohibited in the forum. It really hurts a ‘dream man’ stan like me.]
[Comment: Yes, it hurts a dreamer like me too.]
[Comment: Hurt +1.]
[Comment: Toxic solo stans only break down over a real sister-in-law. Shi Ye is fake news, what are you hurting for?]
[Comment: If it’s fake, would there be rumors with Wen Rong? Shi Ye is as real as it gets. If you don’t believe it, go read the Wen Rong x Shi Ye CP fanfiction. You’ll think it’s real too.]
[Comment: What are you afraid of? They aren’t married. You can still be the mistress.]
[Comment: Is it our turn to be the mistress? There’s still Leon and Zhou Xie ahead of us.]
[Comment: Mistress Number Five… maybe?]
Wen Rong watched helplessly as he acquired eighteen concubines on the forum.
When he saw the hot post [Looking for a True Love to Claim the Title of Little Mistress 38], he could only sigh in resignation.
These people had become so obsessed with assigning titles they had lost touch with reality, never once asking for the opinion of the person actually involved.
Click—
While he was questioning his existence, Shi Ye finally opened the dorm door. “Let’s go, breakfast.”
Wen Rong couldn’t help but ask, “Why did you lock me out? You said you were going to show me around.”
“About that…” Shi Ye rubbed his hair. “You’re someone who is going to be the Student Council President. You can’t keep having scandals with me; it’s bad for your reputation.”
Wen Rong held up his phone. “It’s already spreading.”
On the way from the dorm to the cafeteria, Shi Ye angrily relayed the battlefield situation on the forum. Some brave soul he didn’t know had claimed the title of “Little Mistress 38,” and now everyone was fighting over “Little 88.”
“This is too much! They didn’t even ask for your opinion. A few of those bastards are from the tennis club; just wait until I get back, I’ll train them to death.”
“No, what right do they have to fantasize about you… I’m going to make Zhou Xie ban them all.”
He was so angry he forgot that Zhou Xie could no longer be called the Student Council President.
Wen Rong felt a little better inside and stopped holding a grudge against Shi Ye for locking him out.
Amidst the chaos of the Black Pigeon Forum, someone weakly posted that they saw Wang Sichen at the school.
No one cared.
A while later, someone else posted that Wang Sichen had taken Lin Jinghang’s servant away, and that Lin Jinghang had moved out of Shi Ye’s villa.
Still, no one cared.
These snippets of information barely survived in the cracks between the posts recruiting Wen Rong’s 200th concubine. After several days of diligent expansion, and even a special system notification from Black Pigeon, the news finally reached everyone’s ears.
Wang Sichen’s trip hadn’t been in vain. Lin Jinghang began to restrain himself. To avoid conflict with Wen Rong, he even deliberately sat far away during daily classes.
This kind of passivity wasn’t good for Wen Rong; if he couldn’t catch a mistake, he couldn’t make a move, and progress on the Student Council President election stalled.
Furthermore, with Wang Sichen’s visit to the school, the path to re-election had been completely blocked by unknown means. Even the news from the Principal’s friend—Justice Ernst—was nothing but head-shaking and sighs.
Days passed slowly and quietly. Lin Jinghang successfully took the seat of Student Council President. With a system notification, all Yellow Cards issued by the Student Council were revoked.
Some on the forum were dissatisfied, while others celebrated due to vested interests. But when the specific date for the project seminar was confirmed, all voices fell silent.
No matter how much dissatisfaction or worry there was, Lin Jinghang was the legitimate Student Council President. He held the power to approve the project seminar, and no one could change that.
Wen Rong thought, Is this right?
