Chapter 37: My Face Isn’t Soft Anymore
Yu Deng lowered his head. His cheek flesh was squeezed up a bit as he looked down, finally seeing that he had stained his clothes.
“Oh? Itās dirty? I wasn’t careful.”
“Can it still be washed off? Itās a new shirt~”
It was one Zhou Yuejun had bought for him before. If the oil stain couldn’t be removed, he wouldn’t want to wear it anymore.
A little “pauper,” yet he was so picky.
Zhou Yuejun let go and smoothed the front of Yu Dengās shirt. “It can be washed. If it can’t, I’ll buy you a new one.”
He had reached a level of indulgence toward Yu Deng that bordered on doting.
“What did you eat at noon?”
Yu Deng casually listed a couple of the dishes from lunch. He was about to go into the room to change into a clean shirt when he was scooped up onto Zhou Yuejunās lap.
Zhou Yuejun was hard all over. Even as a human cushion, he wasn’t very comfortable, and he made Yu Dengās bottom feel hot.
“Let me taste!”
What Zhou Yuejun craved wasn’t Yu Dengās lunch, but Yu Deng himself.
His high-sounding excuse was nothing more than an inability to resist that small mouth that was always mumbling in front of him.
He wanted to kiss him.
To kiss Yu Deng until he was a mess.
Yu Dengās mouth was very small, and Zhou Yuejun would always be a bit wicked.
This time, he even pinched Yu Dengās soft and slightly fleshy cheeks, deliberately preventing him from closing his teeth to make it easier for him to do bad things.
“No, don’t kissā”
Zhou Yuejun instead pushed even further.
“Iāll apply medicine for you in a bit.”
Yu Deng had completely gone limp in Zhou Yuejunās arms. The thick arms were like chains, imprisoning him; he couldn’t escape at all.
In an instant, he felt a sense of weightlessness as the man carried him toward the bedroom.
Zhou Yuejunās hand supported his rounded rear, his thick arms steady and powerful.
“Thereās still forty minutes. It should be enough time.”
Yu Deng: “?”
Zhou Yuejun was “in time,” putting on his pants and leaving after heād had his fill, but how much “bitterness” would Yu Deng have to suffer?
Could someone please come and break Zhou Yuejunās waist? He was going to die, woo woo…
In the morning, when Zhou Yuejun went downstairs to buy breakfast, he ran into an old lady picking up milk at the general store.
It was in glass bottlesātransparent, so the white milk inside was visible.
Zhou Yuejun walked over. “How much for a bottle?”
The shop lady: “One yuan seventy. This is fresh milk; someone delivers it every morning. Itās very fresh and full of nutrientsāitās good for the body.”
“Put it in the fridge for a bit, and itāll taste even better.”
“Fresh milk?”
Zhou Yuejun wanted to open a bottle to smell it, but he remembered these were already ordered by other families.
“Is the gamey smell strong?”
Yu Deng didn’t like strong gamey smells. Usually, when he asked Yu Deng for help, Yu Deng was disgusted to death, and if he forced it, Yu Deng would cry.
Sometimes when his meat wasn’t properly de-gamed, Yu Deng didn’t like eating it either.
“Itās not strong at all; itās fragrant. If you don’t believe me, order it for a day. If thereās a strong smell, I won’t charge you.”
“Alright.”
One yuan seventy a bottleāit wouldn’t cost much for a month.
The shop lady looked at him and remarked, “Youāre truly good to your brother.”
Not only did he rent an apartment and serve him good food and drink every day, buying all sorts of appliances, but now he was even willing to get him a bottle of milk every day.
Yu Deng had been running out a lot these past two days. Even though his legs were trembling the night before, he still wanted to go to the library the next day.
“Don’t go. Sitting on the floor makes your bottom uncomfortable.”
“I want to go! Iām going!”
He simply couldn’t be held back. Like a stubborn bull, he just wanted to charge out.
“Then take the milk with you.”
Initially, Zhou Yuejun thought Yu Deng loved studying and was diligent, so he couldn’t bring himself to say anything to discourage him.
Wasn’t there a saying that “books hold houses of gold”? If Yu Deng wanted to progress, he couldn’t be a stumbling block.
But seeing Yu Deng return with large and small bags every time, it looked more like he was out for leisure.
Fine, let him be.
However, it wasn’t until Yu Deng brought back a thermos that Zhou Yuejun suddenly sounded a high-level alarm.
Because there were words engraved on that cup.
He hadn’t had many years of schooling, but he still recognized some characters.
Abruptly, Zhou Yuejunās brows turned cold and sharp, his suppressed rage barely contained. “Jiangcheng University Anniversary Commemoration.”
The hand gripping the thermos had veins popping; he wished he could crush the thing into powder.
“Where did this come from?”
Yu Deng didn’t know why Zhou Yuejun was so angry, but he had eyes; he knew Zhou Yuejun was in a bad mood right now.
His instinct was to slip away, but his other hand was deathly gripped by Zhou Yuejun. After a tug, he crashed into the manās body.
As the hand across his belly tightened, Yu Deng stomped his feet, repeatedly pushing at Zhou Yuejun.
“Why are you being so fierce? Are you trying to strangle me?”
He was the one throwing a tantrum, his eyes flickering with sparks of anger.
Zhou Yuejun cared about Yu Deng. Immediately, his tone softened. “Does it hurt?”
After speaking, his large hand covered Yu Dengās belly, gently stroking and rubbing it.
Yu Deng didn’t let him touch, trying to pry away Zhou Yuejunās fingers.
Slender, snowy fingers; a soft, white belly; and a thick, dark handāthe contrast between the tones was striking.
It made Yu Deng look like an exquisite porcelain doll.
Fragile and easily broken.
Zhou Yuejunās voice was sour, laced with jealousy. “I was wondering why you had no appetite lately; turns out youāve been ‘eating out.'”
“Who gave you the thermos?”
His narrow phoenix eyes were as sharp as blades. A cold light shot toward Yu Deng, who instinctively shrunk his neck, trembling with fear.
However, his chin was pinched, forcing him to endure the impending storm of rage.
Yu Deng didn’t dare lie, his lips trembling.
“A friend I met at the library. He goes to university right next door.”
“He gave me this thermos. He said his house has plenty of themātheyāre just sitting around and will probably go to waste or rust anyway.”
“With this thermos, I can fill it with iced drinks and have them cold all day. Itās so comfortable.”
Yu Deng was thinking of the benefits, unaware that the manās face had already turned as black as charcoal. His eyes were filled with the glint of knives and swords.
Thermoses weren’t cheap. Even if they were “sitting around,” giving them to relatives or friends would be a proper gesture.
Why would a child from the family give one to someone they only met recently?
He had bad intentions!
Yu Deng was sitting cross-legged on Zhou Yuejunās lap. From Zhou Yuejunās perspective, the young manās face was flawless and without defect.
His features were too exquisitely carved. Even from a tricky angle, the slight tremble of a lash was enough to tug at oneās heartstrings.
“A guy?”
