I Asked You to Be a Tool-Man Supporting Male Lead, Not a Heartthrob Chapter 36

Chapter 36: Feel Free to Touch, Anything is Fine

Fu Yue’s breath hitched as his eyes snapped open.

Ji Hanmo was actually sleeping right beside him, lying on his side and facing him. He wasn’t wearing the crisp suit from last night.

To be precise, it looked like he wasn’t wearing anything at all on his upper body.

Sexy collarbones, beautiful pectoral lines, and smooth abdominal muscles disappeared beneath the covers.

Fu Yue’s heart skipped a beat.

He hurriedly lifted a corner of the quilt to check.

Under the covers, he was still in the same state he’d been in when he fell asleep last night—a situation that definitely required “pixelation.”

A thousand possibilities flashed through Fu Yue’s mind, each one making his temples throb.

He quickly looked back at Ji Hanmo.

Fortunately, beneath the covers, Ji Hanmo was wearing pants. White, wide-waisted boxers.

Fu Yue’s heart eased a little.

He carefully felt himself out—his waist wasn’t sore, his legs weren’t weak, and there was no sense of abnormality in a certain unspeakable area.

“…Thank God, my chastity is still intact.”

His tense nerves relaxed. He slumped back onto the bed with a thud, his breathing finally becoming smooth.

The morning light leaking through the gap in the curtains had shifted quietly at some point.

It now fell diagonally across Ji Hanmo’s face—from his brow bone to the bridge of his nose.

The scattering of this light gave his face a faint, soft glow, making even the shadows cast by his eyelashes clearly countable.

Fu Yue’s gaze was involuntarily drawn to him.

He couldn’t help but complain about God’s unfairness—this man could look unreasonably handsome even while asleep.

Ji Hanmo’s sleeping face was peaceful, his lips slightly pursed.

His deep-set features appeared exceptionally soft in the dawn light, devoid of their usual coldness and sharpness.

As the light slid down his cheekbone and rested on the corner of his mouth, Fu Yue was inexplicably reminded of cherry blossoms in early spring.

Fu Yue’s heartbeat quickened slightly in this moment.

Perhaps because he had just woken up and his self-control was low, Fu Yue, possessed by some ghost, reached out his hand. His fingertips landed gently on Ji Hanmo’s brow bone.

He felt the rough texture beneath his fingertip, slightly prickling his skin—the sensation of Ji Hanmo’s eyebrows.

So this is what a man’s eyebrows feel like…

Fu Yue had never paid attention to his own eyebrows before.

At this moment, it was as if a door to a new world had been opened. He stroked lightly along the grain, then rubbed back against it.

When his knuckle brushed the tail of the eyebrow, he trembled slightly, seemingly afraid of waking Ji Hanmo.

Fortunately, he didn’t.

Fu Yue unconsciously held his breath as his fingertips brushed across the man’s eyelashes.

It felt like touching high-quality velvet.

In that instant, he suddenly had an illusion—as if he were touching something much more private.

No, he couldn’t keep touching.

Just as he was about to withdraw his hand, the man who had been keeping his eyes tightly shut suddenly let out a low, deep chuckle.

Fu Yue’s fingers jerked back as if they had been burned.

He’s awake! Since when was he awake?!

Fu Yue was so embarrassed he wanted to vanish on the spot.

However, Ji Hanmo didn’t open his eyes immediately; he just kept a smile on his face.

Using a husky, lazy voice thick with sleepiness, he asked softly, “Why did you stop?”

As if giving Fu Yue time to react, he added leisurely, “Feel free to touch. Anything is fine.”

Fu Yue’s hand froze in mid-air. Withdrawing it felt wrong, but continuing was even worse.

A few seconds passed, but it felt like a century.

Fu Yue suddenly turned around, burrowed into the quilt, and faced away from Ji Hanmo.

Ji Hanmo still kept his eyes closed, but the growing smile on his lips betrayed his current mood.

The sliver of light from the gap in the curtains disappeared; perhaps a cloud had covered the sun.

The light in the room dimmed slightly, which instead made the senses even more acute.

Fu Yue could clearly feel the steady, powerful breathing behind him and his own heart beating like a war drum.

Eventually, Ji Hanmo moved first.

The mattress dipped slightly under his movement.

Fu Yue’s body swayed slightly with it. He instinctively clutched the quilt tighter.

The person behind him seemed to be sitting up.

However, he didn’t lean over.

“If you’re not going to touch, I’m going to wash up.” Ji Hanmo’s voice was as calm as a breeze, as if nothing had just happened.

But these words were like a feather, lightly scratching at Fu Yue’s nerves.

He felt the tips of his ears beginning to burn and could only wrap himself in the quilt, using the back of his head to express his protest.

Ji Hanmo chuckled low.

Then, he lifted his side of the quilt.

The morning light happened to peek out from behind the clouds just as he got up, illuminating his broad shoulders, smooth and firm waistline, and the perfect muscle lines extending to his long legs.

It was an impactful kind of beauty.

Of course, Fu Yue, acting like an ostrich under the quilt, couldn’t see any of it.

Ji Hanmo walked toward the bathroom.

“A driver will bring clothes over in a bit. Sleep a while longer.”

The bathroom door was closed gently.

Soon, the sound of splashing water came from inside.

Only then did Fu Yue dare to take a deep breath.

He touched his burning cheeks in frustration, almost kicking the quilt away.
