After the Divorce, the Paranoid CEO Begs for a HE with His Life Chapter 8

Chapter 8: Ji Songting is a Bastard

Shen Chuyan let out a sneer, feigning surprise. “Oh my, Brother Xiao An is already so drunk, yet he still wants to keep drinking~”

Ji Songting glanced down at his watch and stood up from the booth. “It’s late. I’ll take you home first.”

“Then what about Brother Xiao An? Are we just leaving him?”

As he asked this, a flicker of desire for a definitive, heartless answer was hidden in Shen Chuyan’s gaze.

To his surprise, the other man spoke without a moment’s hesitation: “I’ll have Driver Xiao Wang come pick him up.”

Shen Chuyan felt a prick of displeasure. He didn’t understand—since Ji Songting hated that man so much, why go through the trouble of sending a driver? Wouldn’t it be better to just dump him on the side of the road?

His face darkened abruptly, and he quickly shot a glance toward two hoodlums sitting in the adjacent booth.

The two youths nodded, catching his drift perfectly.

“A-Ting, let’s go home quickly.”

In a blink, Shen Chuyan reverted to his pure and obedient act, clutching Ji Songting’s arm as they walked toward the exit.

Once he confirmed the two had left, the one with yellow hair was the first to walk over to the unconscious Jian An. He squinted his eyes lecherously, greedily licking the saliva from the corner of his mouth, and said excitedly:

“Tsk, what a pretty face. More delicate than a broad’s. I can’t wait to see how he tastes!”

Just as he puckered his lips to move in for a kiss, the one with red hair smacked him hard on the head, warning him in a low voice:

“What are you doing?! There are so many people here. Do you want to get swept up by the vice squad? Let’s find a secluded spot and then have our fun!”

“Right, right, makes sense. Let’s go.”

The two effortlessly slung Jian An’s arms over their shoulders. They walked away, glancing back every few steps to ensure no one had noticed, before finally moving away from the dance floor.

Liang Qinian, who had just stepped out from the liquor storage area with a bottle, happened to see Jian An being taken away. A bad feeling immediately surged in his heart.

Those two punks clearly weren’t up to any good!

He immediately set the bottle down and followed them.

The thugs were skilled at taking detours; they led Jian An away, perfectly avoiding the crowds, and entered an elevator.

The two discussed new ways to “play,” their faces alight with joy. It was clear this wasn’t the first time they had taken a job that paid well and came with someone to sleep with.

However, they didn’t notice the man following them in secret.

The elevator doors slid shut. Liang Qinian failed to get in, and beads of sweat broke out on his forehead from anxiety.

The next elevator went straight to the first floor of the bar, but the two thugs had already vanished.

I hope nothing happens.

Liang Qinian stood on the roadside, his gaze carefully scanning the surroundings. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted two figures acting suspiciously as they slipped into a small alleyway.

Inside the alley, the two men threw Jian An onto the ground.

“The boss told us to take a few private photos of this guy. Where should we start?”

The red-haired one used his phone light to illuminate Jian An’s body. With a lewd grin, his “salty pig hands” began pawing at Jian An’s collar, exposing a large area of snow-white chest. He said excitedly:

“Start from right here! Quick, quick, quick!”

The yellow-haired one stared intently, swallowing hard as he raised his phone to snap a series of photos of Jian An.

Liang Qinian grabbed a wine bottle from a trash can and walked into the alley entrance, his hands gripping it tightly.

The air around him seemed to freeze; he could even clearly hear his own heartbeat.

“You… put him down!”

The two thugs were startled by the sudden voice, instinctively hiding their phones in their pockets.

Yellow Hair whispered into his partner’s ear, “We only got half the shots! The pants aren’t even off yet.”

Upon seeing that the intruder was merely a fragile-looking youth, Red Hair barked in a domineering rage:

“What kind of dog thing is so blind as to disturb our fun?!”

Yellow Hair added: “Scram! Don’t try to play the hero saving the beauty! Otherwise, don’t blame us for being impolite!”

“I’ve already called the police. You’d better let him go!”

Red Hair cracked his knuckles with a crunching sound. “Oh, you dare call the police, do you? We’ve got people backing us; we’ve never been afraid!”

As soon as the words left the thug’s mouth, Liang Qinian raised the bottle he had been hiding behind his back and smashed it toward them.

Because the light was too dim, Red Hair didn’t see the object flying through the air. In an instant, his head was split open, blood flowing.

“Fuck! You dare hit me! I’ll fucking kill you!”

Ten minutes later.

Liang Qinian wiped the warm blood from his face and supported the ice-cold Jian An as they slowly walked out of the alley.

Fortunately, he had practiced a bit of Sanda for self-defense in the past; otherwise, given the situation just now, he probably would have been dragged down as well.

By the light of a dim yellow streetlamp, he finally caught a clear view of Jian An’s pale yet tragically beautiful face.

It really was him!

An unexpected joy appeared on Liang Qinian’s face. “I didn’t expect that after all these years, we’d actually meet again.”

“Xiao An!”

A worried, deep baritone suddenly rang out behind them, and a black Volvo S90 pulled over to the curb.

Shen Yunheng slammed the car door shut and reached Liang Qinian in a few strides, taking the unconscious Jian An into a horizontal carry.

The person pressed against his chest was as pale as paper, his cheeks flushed with an unnatural crimson, and even his hands were unnaturally cold.

They hadn’t seen each other for only a day. Why would Jian An, who was supposed to be on an IV drip in the hospital, suddenly appear on the street like this? And in a comatose state?!

“Xiao An, we’re going to the hospital. Hang in there.”

Shen Yunheng’s eyes were full of heartache. He held Jian An’s slender waist and was about to head toward the car when he was suddenly called back:

“You aren’t Ji Songting. Who are you to Jian An? He was almost assaulted by thugs just now.”

Hearing this, Shen Yunheng’s heart tightened. His usually steady voice was tinged with a rare trace of fury:

“Ji Songting, that bastard.”

He instinctively glanced at the stranger before him, whose hand was dripping blood. Tempering his emotions, he said:

“Thank you for saving Xiao An. Get in the car; let’s go to the hospital to get those wounds disinfected together.”

Liang Qinian wiped the blood from his hand, sounding indifferent. “It’s no trouble. I’ll just handle it simply. Take Jian An to the hospital first; his state is a bit off.”

“So, who exactly are you?”

“Just someone irrelevant.”
