Chapter 14: Shen Yuan Can Only Be Trampled by Him Alone
Looking at the way his mother had forcefully thrown the boy to the ground, Su Huaiyao looked surprised for a few seconds. But he quickly returned to normal, only stealing a glance at the half-dead Shen Yuan. He felt a secret sense of satisfactionâhe deserved to be thrown!
“Mom, why are you here?!”
He immediately sat up straight with a look of joy. Then, he noticed the bandage on the woman’s hand and asked anxiously:
“Mom, your hand… what happened?”
Song Wei raised her chin slightly and pointed to the youth on the floor. Her tone was full of anger: “He bit me.”
Upon hearing this, Su Huaiyaoâs expression changed instantly.
One must know that his mother was a top-tier pianist both domestically and internationally, as well as the president of the Nangang Conservatory of Music. Her hands alone were insured for as much as 1 billion RMB!
A pianist’s most precious assets were their hands. How did that death-defying fool dare?!
The more Su Huaiyao thought about it, the angrier he became. But he didn’t dare show it openly, fearing his “gentle” persona would crumble in front of Yu Xiuqing. He could only lightly tug at the man’s sleeve:
“Xiuqing-gege, this…”
But Yu Xiuqingâs gaze remained fixed on the soaking youth, his expression incredibly dark.
The boy had appeared before him in such a pathetic state once again.
The oversized hospital gown was soaked through with cold water, outlining the boy’s exquisite curves and his two beautiful shoulder blades. His entire frame was shaking violently.
Shen Yuan endured the pain and tremblingly crawled up from the floor, sitting with his legs tucked under him.
Because he had just been treated with medicine, he wasn’t wearing any trousersânot even underwear. But the long, wide hospital gown happened to cover his two rounded buttocks.
The marble floor was cold. His pink feet were frozen red, his toes curled, and his fingers tightly gripped the hem of his gown. Tears welled up in his eyes as he said with grievance:
“Xiansheng… she bullied me first, so I bit her. She said I pushed Su Xiansheng… I didn’t…”
Yu Xiuqing didn’t speak. His narrowed eyes were fixed on the boy, his gaze containing a repressed, burning lust.
There were several ambiguous hickeys on the boy’s pale neck, clearly left by him that night.
The collar of the hospital gown was wide open, exposing the skin of his chest to the air. It had a faint pink tint, and the bite marks were clearly visible, which only served to stimulate the man’s nerves.
Yu Xiuqing involuntarily clenched his fists, his eyes deepening as he stared straight at him. In his dark pupils, there was a terrifying possessiveness.
And an anger that was repressed to the extreme.
It seemed he hadn’t tormented him enough that night. He hadn’t made Shen Yuan scream his lungs out on the bed; the boy actually had the energy to come out dressed like this to seduce people. How shameless!
Yet it was precisely this “seductive-without-knowing-it,” pure, and soft appearance of Shen Yuanâs that made the fire of desire in Yu Xiuqingâs heart burn hotter. He wanted nothing more than to walk over and crush him ruthlessly!
His eyes were a dark surge of black. He put down the bowl and spoon and looked at the still-angry woman, asking coldly:
“Was it you who poured water on him?”
“Yes, I did.”
Song Wei answered without hiding anything. She slowly tucked a lock of hair behind her ear, completely failing to see the deepening gloom in the man’s eyes.
She walked to the bedside with her arms crossed, petting her precious son’s head as she said firmly:
“Master Yu should give our Xiaoyao an explanation, shouldn’t he? Allowing a lowly servant to bully Xiaoyao… how could he be allowed to sleep peacefully in a hospital bed?”
Su Huaiyao shook his head, feigning kindness: “Mom, forget it. Shen Yuan didn’t mean to push me.”
Song Wei poked his head with her finger, blaming him:
“Stupid son. I’ve already seen the surveillance. He clearly pushed you on purpose. Why are you still speaking up for him? You’ve become stupid after studying abroad for a few years!”
Su Huaiyao lowered his head piteously, not daring to argue. His fingers gripped the sheets as he allowed his mother to scold him.
His lowered eyelashes cast a thick shadow under his eyes. A look of venom flickered in his gaze for a split second.
Beside them, Yu Xiuqing smiled gently, his eyes containing a hint of sharpness. But his tone was composed as he said:
“Auntie, I naturally won’t let it go if he pushed Xiaoyao. I’ve already punished him twofold. But for you to take it upon yourself to act against someone of my Yu family without permission… isn’t that a bit inappropriate?”
Yu Xiuqingâs tone could be described as calm. If it weren’t for the fact that Song Wei was Su Huaiyaoâs mother and he needed to show her some face, he definitely wouldn’t have been merciful!
His person could only be tormented and trampled by him. Since when was it an outsider’s turn to teach him a lesson?
But Song Wei, relying on the fact that the man liked her son, didn’t care at all. Furthermore, because Shen Yuan was just a servant, she walked over and kicked the youth without restraint, saying contemptuously:
“He isn’t dead, is he?”
This action was undoubtedly like lighting a fuse. Yu Xiuqingâs expression darkened instantly, and his extreme possessiveness was triggered.
His gaze was cold and sharp as he stared at the woman who didn’t know the height of the sky or the depth of the earth. He spat out a sentence through gritted teeth:
“I bought this thing for 2 billion; is it something you can just kick whenever you want?!”
On the floor, Shen Yuan heard those words and tilted his head up slightly to look at the man. In his tear-blurred eyes, a tiny bit of joy finally appeared, but it was overshadowed by even more sadness.
The little fool didn’t understand the concept of 2 billion; he only knew that he was something Xiansheng had bought. If Xiansheng didn’t want him one day, he could be discarded at any time…
He could never understand Xianshengâs actions. The man wouldn’t allow others to hurt him, yet Xiansheng himself tormented him over and over again, refusing to let him live in peace…
Su Huaiyao was clearly startled by the man’s unprecedented tone, and his face showed a hint of panic.
But beneath the panic were dissatisfaction and disbelief.
Why would Xiuqing-gege get angry at his mother over a fool who was useless except for being good-looking?!
Song Wei was also startled, her entire body shaking. She hadn’t expected the man to suddenly explode. Still, she said firmly:
“I… I’m Xiaoyaoâs mother! Since you like our Xiaoyao, isn’t it a bit much to speak to your future mother-in-law in that tone?”
“Heh, future mother-in-law?”
Yu Xiuqing let out a cold laugh, his expression full of disdain. He didn’t care about her at all as he said word by word: “Anyone who crosses my bottom line has to pay the price.”
The man’s eyes were full of murderous intent. Stared at by those freezing eyes, Song Wei felt her hair stand on end.
She had never seen a man as terrifying as the one before her, especially one so young.
She immediately shut her mouth.
But the pride in her heart made her feel very unhappy.
It seemed the rumors in Nangang that Master Yu was temperamental and violent were true; she had experienced it today.
Yet it was this very same ruthless man who showed a tender and lingering expression to his beloved, constantly using his gaze to soothe the sorrowful youth on the bed, reassuring him that he had no other intentions.
