How Did the Promised Yandere Villain Become a Clingy, Obedient Dog? Chapter 100

Chapter 100: Why Are You So Fierce?

From then on, the drawings were of Wen Ling and Cheng Ge together. There was Cheng Ge holding Wen Ling’s hand as they crossed the street; them sharing a pot of egg fried rice; Wen Ling snuggled in Cheng Ge’s arms sleeping on the sofa; and a scene where Wen Ling was straddling Cheng Ge’s lap with his head resting on his shoulder.

There were also two Q-version drawings of them as anthropomorphic animals. They were kissing and sleeping in each other’s arms, looking very intimate and loving.

Wen Ling was a little gray dog with big eyes—a bit thin, but very cute. Cheng Ge was a big white dog, fluffy and even more adorable than the little gray dog.

Cheng Ge could tell which animal was which by the little gray dog’s big eyes and the respective poses of the two little animals; it was always the big white dog holding the little gray dog.

“Aren’t our images reversed? You should be the white one, shouldn’t you? And isn’t it you who should be the fluffy one?”

Cheng Ge felt that the white, fluffy, and cuter one should be Wen Ling.

“No, you’re the white one. I think Cheng Ge is white. And Cheng Ge is fluffy.” Every time they kissed or hugged, Wen Ling felt like something fluffy was tickling his heart.

“Fine, then.” Cheng Ge felt that everyone was entitled to their own perspective. Wen Ling had drawn according to his own thoughts, so there was no need to argue. But he couldn’t help saying, “But I think you should draw yourself a bit cuter. You are very cute, and you’re fair and clean.”

“Also,” Cheng Ge looked into Wen Ling’s eyes and said sincerely, “Xiao Wen’s eyes are the cutest and most beautiful. Like gems.”

Cheng Ge spoke seriously, so Wen Ling naturally believed him, as he only ever listened to Cheng Ge.

“Then I’ll draw myself a bit cuter next time,” Wen Ling said.

Cheng Ge stroked his head and looked through the drawings again, except for the first one he’d been too embarrassed to look at.

Once the initial wave of heat passed, Cheng Ge felt a warm current gradually gathering in his heart. They were all very heartwarming scenes, each one capable of evoking many memories of their time together.

These were things Wen Ling had produced stroke by stroke.

Wen Ling leaned closer to Cheng Ge, his pleasant scent drifting straight into Cheng Ge’s nose. He asked expectantly, “Is Cheng Ge touched?”

Looking at Wen Ling’s sparkling eyes, Cheng Ge didn’t feel shy at all. He said honestly, “I am.”

“Then, do you like me even more?”

“I do.”

“Then I like you even more too,” Wen Ling said with eyes curved. “Jiji was right after all.”

“Your roommate? What did he say?”

“Jiji said that couples should prepare small surprises for each other. That’s the only way to better maintain a sense of freshness and make the relationship better.”

“That makes some sense.” Cheng Ge didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. It seemed Wen Ling really had learned a lot from that person.

What Cheng Ge knew was just the tip of the iceberg. Jiji had been very enthusiastically and seriously imparting “romance secrets” to Wen Ling.

Wen Ling’s personality normally wouldn’t allow him to chat so much with others, but when it came to Cheng Ge, he was very interested and quite talkative.

It all started when Wen Ling walked out of the bathroom and happened to catch Zhao Zhishen kissing Jiji’s cheek. Then, three pairs of large eyes stared at each other.

Two of those pairs were wide with shock.

“Wen Ling,” Jiji couldn’t even speak properly. “Just, just now we… you…”

“I saw everything.” Wen Ling’s tone was calm and flat as he continued with his business. But seeing the two of them still standing there stiffly, staring at him as if waiting for him to say something before they could move, he asked:

“Are you a couple?”

Jiji’s eyes grew even rounder, and he couldn’t stop trembling slightly. “We, I…”

“Yes.” Zhao Zhishen took Jiji’s hand and spoke decisively.

Wen Ling nodded and gave an “mm” before taking his clothes into the bathroom to change.

When he came out, Jiji and Zhao Zhishen were still standing in the same spot. They weren’t looking at Wen Ling anymore, but their bodies were still stiff and ill at ease. Wen Ling didn’t pay much attention, though.

That day, Cheng Ge had training and didn’t have time to eat with Wen Ling. Cheng Ge ordered takeout for him and sent Wen Ling a message when it arrived. Wen Ling went downstairs to get it.

After getting the food, Wen Ling sat at his desk to eat.

When he was almost finished, Jiji came over, rubbing his hands, and asked him carefully and quietly: “Wen Ling… don’t you find it surprising or strange?”

After Wen Ling finished chewing the food in his mouth, he looked at the anxious Jiji, feeling very confused. “Why should I find it surprising or strange?” After thinking for a moment, he added, “It’s good that you’re together.”

“Thank you, thank you.” Jiji’s hanging heart lowered slightly, though he was still uneasy. “But, but we’re both m—”

“I’m also in a relationship with Cheng Ge. Isn’t this very normal?” Wen Ling’s words shocked Jiji so much his brain short-circuited.

Jiji had thought Wen Ling was the type who was as straight as they came!

“…The, the one who accompanied you to class that day is your boyfriend!?”

Wen Ling thought about and savored the word “boyfriend” before nodding. “Yes.”

“Holy…” Jiji’s voice was small, but the shock in it was still audible.

The matter should have ended there, but Jiji was a sensitive and warm-hearted boy. He’d originally felt that Wen Ling was cold and distant, but now that they had something in common, he naturally wanted to be closer.

Wen Ling was someone who didn’t show emotion to others. To outsiders, it seemed like he didn’t show his feelings and nothing could cause a ripple in his heart. Almost all of Wen Ling’s emotions were given to Cheng Ge, to the point that even a small matter concerning Cheng Ge would cause a massive difference in his state of being.

When Cheng Ge was intimate with Wen Ling or did something Wen Ling liked, Wen Ling’s eyes would be full of smiles all day. Conversely, if Cheng Ge ignored him, or if Wen Ling hadn’t seen him or eaten with him for a long time, he would be like a wilted flower.

Jiji would tease him when he saw him happy, and Wen Ling was willing to share a bit of those small things. If Jiji saw him wilted, he would also offer a few words of concern.

In the beginning, Wen Ling didn’t say much. Later, as his doubts and worries grew and he became familiar with Jiji, he was willing to ask questions.

Wen Ling: “Why doesn’t Cheng Ge miss me? I miss him so much.”

Jiji wanted to laugh a bit. Wen Ling didn’t look like the type who would say such things at all; the contrast was very cute. “Didn’t you just return to the dorm together?”

Wen Ling: “But I’ve already started missing him. Why doesn’t he miss me?”

“How do you know he doesn’t miss you?”

“I, I can feel it.”

Jiji’s eyes darted around. “Maybe he’s just more reserved?”

Wen Ling thought for a moment. “Okay then.”

Jiji: “What’s wrong?”

Wen Ling: “Cheng Ge won’t kiss me. He only kisses me for a tiny bit.”

Jiji grinned. “Why?”

Wen Ling: “I don’t know. Cheng Ge only kisses me twice a day, sometimes only once. Today he only kissed me once. And he doesn’t ‘do that’ with me either. Cheng Ge said it only happens once every month or two.”

Jiji’s smile froze instantly. He couldn’t quite believe such bold and scandalous words were coming from the mouth of someone as cute as Wen Ling. “Wh—Why are you so fierce?” Telling everything to anyone.

Wen Ling didn’t understand. “What do you mean by ‘fierce’?”

“Nothing,” Jiji rubbed the back of his head, feeling a bit shy. “Just, just speaking very bluntly? Concise and clear, that kind of thing.”
