Part 2

He asked Yun Yingzhi if he wanted to sit in the front or the back.

Yun Yingzhi thought for a moment and pointed to the back seat. He felt like his whole body was out of sorts and just wanted to be a self-isolating little rabbit.

Following the rabbit’s wish, Uncle Zhang placed him in the back.

The rabbit turned his back to the open space and faced the seatback, curling himself into a tiny ball. He looked incredibly pitiful.

Uncle Zhang thought that something truly terrible must have happened yesterday; the rabbit was radiating an aura of utter grievance.

He wanted to offer some comfort, but since he didn’t know what had happened, he could only remain silent.

The hovercar sped out of the parking lot, heading straight for the General’s Manor.

Yun Yingzhi’s mind was a mess.

On one hand, he had a hangover headache; on the other, his body ached. He was also trying hard to recall exactly what had happened yesterday.

The things he wanted to remember eluded him completely, while the things he didn’t want to remember kept replaying in his mind—like the scene where he forcibly tore off his own clothes.

And how he had angrily accused Elvis, calling him “Brother” in a sticky, cloying voice, saying, “Brother, how could you call me by my full name? You have to call me Zhizhi!”

Like hell he should call me Zhizhi.

The little rabbit’s body shivered with shame and embarrassment. He was not okay.

And then there was…

He…

Well.

He had slept with the man.

Without any memory of it, he had slept with him.

It must have been a rather wild night, and based on the forced-stripping incident, he could reasonably deduce that he was the one who forced Elvis.

Yun Yingzhi: “…”

Seriously, I want to be angry, but Elvis should probably be angrier.

He was also very worried that Elvis would come knocking on his door.

Yun Yingzhi was extremely anxious. He sniffled, and eventually, his mental state collapsed. The little rabbit’s tears pattered down, but he quickly wiped them away, forcing himself to be calm.

He thought that Prince Elvis probably… wouldn’t care, right?

He comforted himself: word getting out that the noble Prince was forced into bed by someone would be embarrassing for him too, right?

Also, even though it was the first time, it… it was fine.

Yesterday’s events were in the past.

As long as Prince Elvis didn’t pursue the matter, the world would remain at peace.

He felt that once he got home today and calmed down, it would be a fresh start. Everything that happened yesterday was just an accident and wouldn’t have any impact on his life.

Theoretically, that was how it worked.

And…

He thought that if it were a girl, there might be issues like pregnancy. Since he was a boy, there was absolutely no need to worry about such a thing.

Compared to the worst-case scenario, this was still… within the acceptable range.

With comparison came comfort.

Yun Yingzhi wiped his tears with a tiny paw and steadied himself again.

Noticing Yun Yingzhi’s foul mood, Uncle Zhang specifically drove faster.

In the entire Yun family, the one who pampered Yun Yingzhi the most was Yun Yinghui.

Uncle Zhang decided that after dropping Yun Yingzhi home, he would contact Yun Yinghui to have him soothe the little rabbit’s wounded soul.

Soon, the hovercar arrived at the Yun residence. The automatic gates swung open, and the car drove forward to stop in front of the villa.

The little rabbit was still facing the seatback in self-imposed isolation.

Uncle Zhang opened the back door and picked him up.

The rabbit sniffled and buried his head in Uncle Zhang’s arms, letting out a nonsensical sound: “QAQ dah.”

The rabbit looked pitiable beyond belief.

Looking at the adorable rabbit, Uncle Zhang’s heart practically melted.

He carried the rabbit into the villa and saw Butler Zhang.

He nodded to the butler and silently pointed to the rabbit sulking in his arms, his eyes conveying that Yun Yingzhi’s current situation was very dire.

The butler nodded. He and everyone else in the lobby watched Yun Yingzhi with gazes full of heartache.

Uncle Zhang carried Yun Yingzhi upstairs and pushed open the bedroom door.

The rabbit sniffled and immediately jumped from his arms to the floor, looking up at him with large, watery eyes.

Uncle Zhang said, “Second Young Master, shall I leave now?”

The rabbit nodded aggrievedly.

Uncle Zhang couldn’t help himself; he leaned down to pet the rabbit’s soft fur before stepping out and closing the door behind him.

Once he was sure the door was shut, Yun Yingzhi changed back to human form, rushed forward, and locked the bedroom door.

Suddenly, a knock sounded at the door.

Yun Yingzhi stiffened and immediately turned back into a rabbit. In a slightly immature voice, he asked, “…Who is it?”

There was a brief silence outside before a voice responded, “It’s me.”

It was Yun Yingyao.

Yun Yingzhi thought about it and decided his current state was really not suitable for seeing her. He continued in his rabbit form’s childish voice: “No talking while eating, no talking while sleeping. I’m catching up on rest, don’t disturb me.”

Outside, Yun Yingyao gave the door a hard slap, followed by the sound of footsteps receding. She had likely left.

Yun Yingzhi blinked his large black eyes. After waiting a few seconds to confirm no one was outside, he changed back into his human form.

Taking off the stolen clothes belonging to Elvis, he thought for a moment, folded them up, and hid them in the wardrobe.

No, what if someone finds them?

This is stolen goods, and possibly evidence of me forcing myself on Elvis. It absolutely cannot be found.

He pulled the clothes back out of the wardrobe and hid them under the bed.

Still doesn’t feel safe enough.

After a moment, he began rummaging through everything, tossing things around until he finally found a place for the stolen clothes.

By the end of it, he had forgotten where he’d even hidden them.

He went into the bathroom to check his condition. Looking in the mirror, he saw marks covering almost his entire body.

In the past, he wouldn’t have known what these were, but he knew now—these were hickeys.

Yun Yingzhi: “…”

He let out a heavy sigh, cursing in his heart. Is Elvis an animal? Gnawing on me all over?

He didn’t even spare my little feet?

With tears welling in his eyes, he rinsed his body with hot water. After thinking it over, he drew a cold bath, trying to cool his head.

However, even the cold bath couldn’t calm him down; he was still on the verge of a breakdown.

Wiping himself dry, he put on pajamas and climbed into bed.

Suddenly, his terminal chimed with a notification. Someone was calling.

If it were anyone else, he wouldn’t have answered, but it was Yun Yinghui. He instinctively accepted the call.

Immediately after, he felt a wave of regret.

Why did I pick up!

From the expanded holographic projection, it was clear that Yun Yinghui had called him in the middle of a busy schedule.

Yun Yinghui’s brow was furrowed, but the reprimand on his lips turned into: “Zhizhi, if something is upsetting you, tell Brother.”

He had always been like this.

When Yun Yingzhi was unhappy, his first thought wasn’t to tear open the wound or scold him, but to soothe him as gently as possible.

Yun Yingzhi sniffled pitifully and said, “Brother, Yaoyao is so young, she shouldn’t be dating!” He decided to file a counter-complaint first.

Yun Yinghui froze, then a smile curved his lips. “It’s the same for Zhizhi. You’re also young and shouldn’t be dating early, understand?”

Yun Yingzhi nodded obediently and added, “I’ll listen to Brother. You must tell Yaoyao that she’s not allowed to date early too!”

Yun Yinghui sighed silently and replied with a “Alright.”

“Brother, it’s a promise! You must tell her!” Yun Yingzhi emphasized.

“Mm.”

Hearing his brother’s promise, the goldfish-brained Yun Yingzhi instantly forgot his troubles, and happy little flowers began to bloom around him again.

In truth, as Yun Yingzhi and Yun Yingyao grew up, it wasn’t just Yun Yingyao who was a snitch; Yun Yingzhi, who lacked self-awareness, was exactly the same.

Yun Yinghui stayed with him for another half hour, trying to get him to talk about what had happened lately, but Yun Yingzhi avoided the topic.

As they spoke, he felt his eyelids grow heavy.

He hadn’t slept well the past few days and had been suffering from insomnia. Before long, he fell asleep mid-conversation.

On the other end, Yun Yinghui watched him for a brief moment before hanging up to return to his busy work.

Perhaps because he was truly exhausted, Yun Yingzhi slept for an entire day. He was woken up by Butler Zhang at 6:00 PM; it was time to return to Fanse Academy.

Fanse Academy only had one open day per month, with each one consisting of a two-day holiday.

Yun Yingzhi thanked the butler, hurried into his academy uniform, and ran downstairs.

Just before he got into the hovercar, the butler gave him a lunchbox to eat on the way.

He looked at the butler with a moved expression, nuzzling his face against Butler Zhang’s cheek to express his gratitude before getting into the car for the trip back to school.

Sitting in the back seat, he polished off the contents of the packed lunchbox.

Before the 9:00 PM curfew, the hovercar stopped not far from the entrance of Fanse Academy.

Yun Yingzhi said goodbye to Uncle Zhang and hurried toward the school. On the way, he met some students who greeted him, and they walked toward the dormitory area together.

One of the students began talking about what had happened last night.

Mentioning last night brought nothing but tears; Yun Yingzhi felt quite unwell and didn’t want to recall it at all.

In particular, he felt that some students were currently looking at him with searching gazes, while others were full of suspicion.

He occasionally heard students mention “the Prince’s little pet” or the “little battle-rabbit” from the Yaoming Battle Arena that had recently become a sensation on the Star Network.

Could those two little rabbits really not be the actual Yun Yingzhi?

Using his strongest self-control, he maintained his composure, refusing to let his expression slip. In reality, his heart had already collapsed.

The student said, “Yingzhi, I remember you were there yesterday too. Why did you leave so early?”

Yun Yingzhi thought to himself that he hadn’t left; in fact, he was among the very last group of students to leave yesterday.

Feeling awkward, he forced a smile and lied steadfastly, “Something came up suddenly yesterday. I was in a hurry, so I left early.”

Another person added, “By the way, Yingzhi, did you see Prince Elvis’s little pet yesterday?”

Yun Yingzhi: “…”

What “little pet”?! It wasn’t a pet at all, okay? It was a person! A person! A PERSON!

He took a direct hit to his soul, but he still managed to show a perfectly measured smile. “As it happens, I didn’t see it.” He paused and instinctively emphasized again, “I left quite early yesterday. It’s a shame I missed it.”

A female student said, “What a pity. Prince Elvis’s little pet looks exactly like your second form.”

Yun Yingzhi’s eyelids twitched, but he maintained his state on the surface, trying his best not to break. “That really is unfortunate. It would have been great if I could have seen it,” he said with a soft sigh.

Two students stared directly at him, as if trying to judge the truth of his words through his expression and voice.

Forcing himself to stay calm despite the chill running down his spine, he struggled to keep his smile steady.

Yet another student added, “But as expected of Prince Elvis’s little darling, it’s super, super, super strong!”

Yun Yingzhi froze, a question mark slowly appearing in his mind.

?

Super strong?

What on earth did I do that day to make this student use such an exclamation to describe my strength?

While he was dazed, more students began talking about how strong the rabbit was that day.

Yun Yingzhi: “…”

???

A row of question marks formed in his brain. He couldn’t understand at all—what had he done?

“It’s a total battle-rabbit!” someone exclaimed.

“It’s the fighter jet of battle-rabbits!” another marveled.

Yun Yingzhi: “…”
