LITTLE FOOL CHAPTER 53

Chapter 53: Strawberry Hair Clip
Stalls like this, located near the entrance of amusement parks, generally sold snacks like candy, popcorn, and ice cream, plush toys, animal hair clips, and themed balloons.
To attract tourists, these snacks and plush toys either used the amusement park’s star mascots for packaging, or sold collaborative plush toys.
However, the variety wasn’t as extensive as the amusement park’s gift shops. Tourists usually bought simple and easy-to-carry items to take with them while playing.
Mu Mu was visiting an amusement park for the first time and lacked shopping experience. He became entangled in the pile of cute snacks and plush toys.
Although Yan Gui Xing said to buy whatever he liked, Mu Mu looked at the prices on the tags and hesitated.
In the end, he only chose a fist-sized rabbit cotton candy and a medium-sized Black Cat Mimi plush toy.
Yan Gui Xing wasn’t very interested in these things. While Mu Mu was choosing, he asked the executives behind him for a park map.
After glancing through it, he circled several attractions he thought Mu Mu would like, along with the gift shop and the park’s themed castle hotel.
When he looked up again, Mu Mu was already holding the plush toy in one hand and the cotton candy in the other, handing over his optical brain to pay.
Yan Gui Xing saw that Mu Mu only chose two items, and bending down, asked, “Only these two?”
“Yes, yes, these two are enough. Gui Gui, try this; it’s strawberry-flavored bunny.” Mu Mu nodded, handing the untouched cotton candy to Yan Gui Xing to try.
Yan Gui Xing didn’t like sweet things very much; he disliked sweet candies and cakes the most. However, he had no resistance towards the cotton candy with its sweet aroma, and he bit into the rabbit’s ear.
At first, it was just a small bite. But when the sweet and sugary taste of strawberries exploded on his tongue, the green eyes behind his glasses suddenly flashed, and he playfully tore off one of the rabbit’s ears.
With such a large bite, the once cute rabbit was immediately disfigured, becoming grotesque and ugly.
Yan Gui Xing teased Mu Mu deliberately, “Oops, I accidentally tore Mu Mu’s rabbit. What should we do?”
Mu Mu generously handed the cotton candy he had been eyeing to Yan Gui Xing, saying, “Gui Gui likes it, so you can have it all. Mu Mu doesn’t mind not eating it.”
Yan Gui Xing held half of the ugly rabbit, looking at Mu Mu’s expression urging him to eat quickly, feeling somewhat amused. On one hand, he felt sorry that the child was too considerate, planning to empty the gift shop later to compensate him.
On the other hand, he felt that he was shooting himself in the foot. He didn’t like sweets, but now, to please the little fool, he had to force himself to eat it, and it was indeed a sweet burden.
Yan Gui Xing was actually somewhat glad that Mu Mu was a bit stingy and didn’t want to spend money, so he bought the smallest cotton candy.
But gifts should be reciprocal.
Yan Gui Xing was about to leave with Mu Mu when his eyes caught sight of a pink strawberry hair clip on a shelf.
He didn’t know why, but he felt that this cute, pink hair clip would suit Mu Mu perfectly.
Yan Gui Xing paused, using his height and long arms to reach over the heads of two girls in front of him and pick the strawberry hair clip off the shelf.
He clipped Mu Mu’s somewhat long bangs, revealing a smooth forehead and those clear, doe-like almond eyes. He nodded in satisfaction.
Mu Mu didn’t see Yan Gui Xing’s actions, only feeling something clipped into his hair. He touched it, feeling the shape of a small clip, and looked at Yan Gui Xing curiously, “A small hair clip?”
Yan Gui Xing looked at the large pink strawberry resting on the black curly hair, swaying gently as Mu Mu moved, just as cute as he imagined. He was increasingly pleased.
“Yes, a pink strawberry clip, it’s a return gift for Mu Mu’s bunny cotton candy,” he said, shaking the ugly rabbit in his hand.
Mu Mu heard it was a gift and was overjoyed, carefully touching the hair clip on his head with his index finger, his expression turning conflicted.
“But Mu Mu is a man. Wouldn’t it be strange to wear a pink clip? Clips are for girls and sub-humans.”
Yan Gui Xing chuckled. He wanted to say that Mu Mu didn’t look like a man; his body was thinner than a sub-human, his waist softer than those women.
But he was afraid of upsetting Mu Mu, so he deliberately tore off another ear of the ugly rabbit in front of Mu Mu, his low voice tinged with the sweetness of the cotton candy, sounding like he was pouting.
“It’s not, Mu Mu looks cute wearing it, and I like it. But if Mu Mu doesn’t like it, take it off.”
He reached out to take it off.
Seeing this, Mu Mu quickly raised his hand to protect the strawberry clip and quickly moved away from Yan Gui Xing’s embrace, “Don’t take it off, it’s a gift from Gui Gui, Mu Mu likes it.”
A glint flashed in the eyes behind Yan Gui Xing’s glasses. The little fool was so easy to coax. It was really comforting to keep a pet like this. Smart ones were exhausting.
Xingchen Amusement Park, as one of the three largest amusement parks in the Empire, had a vast array of attractions, ranging from simple and gentle to moderately thrilling, and even hellish difficulty levels, fully catering to different needs.
Mu Mu and Yan Gui Xing were both visiting an amusement park for the first time, and after experiencing one attraction, they became addicted, wanting to try and play everything they saw.
With their VIP tickets, they didn’t have to queue, and they went through the entire park in just two hours.
Although they didn’t have to queue for attractions, they still had to walk.
Moreover, the star baby mascots were scattered throughout the various sections of the park. To take pictures with them, they had to find them within the park.
In the section they were currently in, there was Border Collie Wang Wang, whom Mu Mu liked very much. Just finding him took Mu Mu half an hour, and they queued under the sun for another ten minutes before it was his turn to interact with and take a picture with Border Collie Wang Wang.
Mu Mu’s stamina wasn’t as good as Yan Gui Xing’s, and his legs had old injuries. After touring one section of the park, he was drenched in sweat.
Yan Gui Xing accompanied Mu Mu to sit on a cartoon bench under a tree, took out his handkerchief, and wiped the sweat from Mu Mu’s forehead.
“Tired? Does your chest hurt? Should we go to the hotel to rest first and continue touring after we’ve rested?”
Because he felt sorry for Mu Mu, Yan Gui Xing spoke softly, his voice a little hoarse. Amidst the cheerful music and noisy sounds of the amusement park, it was difficult to hear clearly.
Mu Mu heard a cacophony of sounds, blankly staring at the moving crowd in front of him. After a while, when the noise subsided, he could hear the music and voices again. He turned his head, looking at Yan Gui Xing with a blank expression.
“Gui Gui, were you talking to me?”
