Chapter 40: Going to School
Bai Qi hurriedly ran back into the room. By the time he let go, his face was already flushed deep red, resembling a soft, bouncy, and tender cherry.
He gulped down several mouthfuls of water, but the images in his mind refused to fade, and his entire body grew increasingly crimson.
Hoo… I have to find some clothes and put them on before Bo Yan comes out.
Bai Qi put down the water glass and went to rummage through the bedside wardrobe. To his surprise, the same thing happened again; before he could find any underwear, Bo Yan stepped out of the dressing room.
This time, Bo Yan was wearing a matching set of white pajamas. The light-colored, satin-like material suited him perfectly, making him look as if he had just stepped out of a world of wind and snow, carrying an innate sense of chilling elegance.
A Bo Yan like this looked nothing like the person who had just been in the dressing room. To even mention the two in the same breath felt like a profanation.
Bai Qi didn’t have the nerve to change in front of him. Seeing Bo Yan look over, he had no choice but to pretend to be nonchalant and climbed onto the bed to play with his phone.
Fortunately, he was wearing pajama pants. He would just have to make do for one night; surely, it wouldn’t be discovered.
Bai Qi soon nestled into the large bed. Luckily, Bo Yan didn’t tease him. He simply lay down beside him, and for a rare moment, the two didn’t speak. They leaned against each other quietly, each looking at their own phone.
Their body temperatures gradually melded, and the silence was filled only with the sound of each other’s breathing.
It felt a bit like an old married couple enjoying a moment of peaceful stability. Bai Qi loved this atmosphere, especially since the other person was Bo Yan. The slight vigilance he felt from not wearing underwear gradually faded, and his soft body began to relax completely.
Eventually, Bai Qi grew a bit sleepy.
He glanced at the time; it was already past nine, nearly his bedtime. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw that Bo Yan was still full of energy.
As expected, he wasn’t sleepy at all.
Thinking about how Bo Yan could wake up early with him, Bai Qi felt even more determined to stay up late together. He forced himself to perk up and found some English vocabulary words to memorize.
He had hoped that studying would wake him up, but instead, it backfired. The energy he was barely maintaining soon began to give way.
The more Bai Qi looked at the words, the sleepier he got. His vision blurred, and countless words seemed to dance before his eyes.
His fluffy head nodded down bit by bit, and his eyelids drooped listlessly. His body, unaccustomed to staying up late, simply couldn’t hold on.
When he nearly fell asleep once more, Bai Qi forced his eyes open, vaguely realizing that things were not going well.
Fortunately, Bo Yan was focused on his phone and didn’t seem to notice anything unusual on his side.
Bai Qi had already promised to stay up late and didn’t want to go back on his word. He forced his exhausted body up, wanting to get a drink of water.
Unexpectedly, he and Bo Yan were sitting too close. The corner of his pajama pants was pinned down by Bo Yan. The moment Bai Qi stood up, he felt a sudden chill behind him, and his delayed reaction caused him to wobble.
The blindingly white flesh was extremely eye-catching, fragrant and pink. Bo Yan almost stood up abruptly.
The chill behind him momentarily jolted Bai Qi’s drowsy body. He reflexively wanted to look down to see what had happened, but in the next second, his body was enveloped by a shadow.
Bo Yan had a long reach. He easily reached past Bai Qi to grab a glass of water, gently coaxing him and feeding it to his lips.
This soothing gesture allowed Bai Qi’s muddled brain to relax. He no longer cared about what had happened to his pants. His throat was very dry, so he closed his eyes and took small sips, his red lips becoming moist and glistening.
He looked exceptionally well-behaved and adorable, a sight that could make one’s blood boil.
So, when the water glass was taken away, Bai Qi remained immersed in that patient coaxing. His cheek was pinched as Bo Yan sought a kiss, and his long-coveted red lips were thoroughly tasted. Bai Qi even obediently stuck out his tongue for the other to take.
Slowly, the other hand could no longer resist stroking the “tender peach.” The excessive stimulation brought Bai Qi a brief moment of clarity, but he soon lost himself completely to the agonizingly pleasant tingling, becoming a delicious meal for the hunter.
With his strength drained, he was completely unable to resist. In the quiet room, broken whimpers constantly drifted out, sweet and trembling.
Bai Qi thought he was dreaming. He was turned over and thoroughly enjoyed by Bo Yan until he finally fell asleep, powerless, in his arms.
The next day, Bai Qi rareley slept until nine o’clock before getting ready for school.
The two were in different majors, and Bo Yan had no classes today. Bai Qi specifically told him not to come pick him up.
It just so happened that Bo Yan’s company seemed to have something going on, so he didn’t insist on seeing him off. Bai Qi finally found an opportunity to be apart from him and boarded the luxury car alone.
On the way, he kept recalling the outfit Bo Yan wore when they first met. Aside from the suit, the shirt and pants inside should ideally be the same, but unfortunately, he didn’t remember the specific details of the outfit back then.
He was a bit conflicted. Since he wanted to do this, he had to do it perfectly. However, after scrolling through his photo album, he didn’t see any pictures from that time.
Sigh, I’ll just have to try my best to imitate it.
Soon, the car reached the school gate.
The car was too high-profile, so Bai Qi specifically asked Uncle Li to park further away. He wore a mask as he walked toward the campus entrance.
However, even though he was well-covered, he still attracted the attention of almost the entire street. Countless gazes snapped toward him.
Bai Qi looked up blankly. The upturned corners of his eyes were like the tips of flower petals, and his light-colored irises were misty. Even with a mask, he was strikingly eye-catching.
These were the eyes praised by numerous media outlets as the most beautiful in the entertainment industry. They were soul-stirring enough on screen, let alone how stunning they were in person; he could be recognized at a single glance.
Countless people gasped, their eyes erupting with fervent and excited light.
If people previously felt that Bai Qi was a beautiful “school grass” who shouldn’t be disturbed, their gaze now was more like looking at a celebrity.
That unique fan-like frenzy made Bai Qi extremely flustered. Especially since many of them were classmates he recognized, he didn’t know how to face them. He could only lower his head and quicken his pace, terrified of being stopped.
Under the sunlight, his skin appeared even more translucent. His long eyelashes trembled with a sense of fragility, as if he might break at the slightest touch.
Seeing such a fragile and beautiful youth in a state of panic, many people couldn’t help but feel a surge of affection and pity.
People didn’t dare approach Bo Yan because they were intimidated by his aura; now, they didn’t dare approach Bai Qi out of a desire to protect him, fearing they might scare the beauty into tears.
Thus, Bai Qi reached the classroom safely.
This was a small class consisting only of his own classmates. After two years, they should have been familiar with Bai Qi, and his entrance shouldn’t have caused a commotion.
However, Bai Qi was still met with the nearly ecstatic gazes of the entire class. Even the teacher, who had arrived early, couldn’t help but look at him with a beaming smile.
Countless people were itching to ask, burning with curiosity to know if he and Bo Yan were truly dating.
Everyone simply couldn’t contain their excitement. Anyone would find it impossible to stay calm if the “campus god” they had known for two years suddenly became a big star and was rumored to be involved with a top-tier idol.
Moreover, they had all seen the two of them with their own eyes. The impact of seeing them in person was countless times stronger than seeing them on screen. Many classmates had already become closet “CP fans.”
As classmates, they also knew many details that the internet did not.
For example, someone in the group chat just mentioned seeing Bai Qi get out of a luxury car this morning, which was allegedly Bo Yan’s car. Someone else noticed that the brand of Bai Qi’s clothes was incredibly expensive… All signs pointed to the fact that they seemed to be living together.
A trending headline was walking right beside them. Everyone was thrilled, and people kept coming up to greet him and strike up a conversation.
Bai Qi was completely unable to handle such a scene. His light eyes trembled as he forced out a few answers. Fortunately, the Class Monitor arrived in time and led him to the last row of the classroom.
After all, they were students, and it wouldn’t be polite to keep turning around to look. Gradually, the gazes were withdrawn, and Bai Qi was finally able to relax a little.
The Class Monitor looked Bai Qi up and down. For some reason, he felt that Bai Qi had changed. He had become even more beautiful. Even though he was currently a bit flustered, his face was radiant, looking very much like someone who was being nourished by love.
Did Bo Yan get his way? He secretly typed on his phone.
[Are you and Bo Yan dating?]
Seeing this sentence, the tips of Bai Qi’s ears turned red uncontrollably. He nodded obediently.
The Class Monitor sighed internally, thinking that Bo Yan sure moved fast. It had only been a few days. Bai Qi might look compliant, but in reality, he wasn’t someone who fell in love easily.
I hope this relationship lasts. At least Bo Yan has the looks and the money, and he’s good to Bai Qi for now. He’ll do.
Bai Qi didn’t know what the Class Monitor was thinking. Before class started, he took the opportunity to ask the Class Monitor about that suit, only to learn that the suits were a bulk purchase made by the Literature Club years ago and had long since been thrown away.
Fortunately, the Class Monitor still kept a group photo taken just before Bai Qi left back then.
The photo was a bit blurry, but one could immediately see Bai Qi with his pale skin and red lips in the crowd. It was as if he had accidentally stumbled into the real world, his slender, pale wrist holding an umbrella, his entire being exuding a unique aura.
His clothes were a very simple black casual suit with a pure white short-sleeved shirt underneath.
For some reason, the more simple and basic the style, the better it looked on Bai Qi. Even the strands of hair at his temples seemed aesthetic, like scattered moonlight.
This photo was a “lethal weapon.” The Class Monitor hadn’t deleted it even after changing phones several times. When it was placed at the Literature Club’s entrance back then, who knows how many people it had attracted to sign up.
The Class Monitor sent the photo to him: “It’s been two years. Why do you suddenly want this?”
It was a casual question, but seeing Bai Qi’s face instantly turn flush, the Class Monitor’s heart skipped a beat, and his intuition sharpened.
It couldn’t be for Bo Yan, could it?
