[ABO] President Shou Is Not a Total Shou Chapter 85

Chapter 85: Omega Goes to the Hospital for Fetal Protection

Shou Jiaxun had twenty years of experience in creative work, selling his “brainstorms” daily. Today was the first time he had been “struck by lightning” by his own brainstorm until he was scorched on the outside and tender on the inside. Because he instinctively thought: A man shouldn’t call this ‘Auntie’… then should it be called ‘Uncle’?

Standing in the bathroom scrubbing his underwear with all his might, the young President Shou suddenly broke out in goosebumps. But this wasn’t even the worst-case scenario. After finishing his shower, President Shou lay on the bed with a heavy heart, scrolling through his phone and trying various combinations of keywords to find an answer online. He eventually reached two conclusions:

  1. Male Omegas do not have “Auntie/Uncles.”
  2. His child might have already “kicked the bucket” on its own.

Shou Jiaxun turned off the light and his phone, lying flat and stiff, his mind a complete blank. Just last week, he had been firm about getting rid of this “trouble,” but now that the trouble had disappeared on its own, he felt a bit like crying.

An hour or so later, Liang Bo returned trailing a suitcase as if he were on a business trip, only to find that Shou Jiaxun had already fallen asleep. The anxious Alpha sat by the bed in silence for two minutes, then followed his routine of showering and changing into pajamas, squeezing onto the young President Shou’s bed with his own pillow.

In his sleep, Shou Jiaxun caught the scent of Liang Bo’s Alpha pheromones. He rolled over in a daze and naturally burrowed into the other’s embrace. Liang Bo was confused for a moment. In the pitch-black room, he lowered his head and squinted to carefully confirm that the person before him was indeed Shou Jiaxun before he let himself go and held the other tight.

But no matter how tightly he held, he might not be able to grasp him. Because Shou Jiaxun didn’t want to have children, refused to be marked, and didn’t accept proposals. So their current relationship was like a castle in the air; whether they were lovers or temporary bed partners depended primarily on how the young President Shou chose to define it.

And what Liang Bo had to do now was to make this aerial structure take root and eventually become an indestructible fortress.

The scent of Alpha pheromones in the room gradually grew thick. Liang Bo’s cool cheek pressed against Shou Jiaxun’s forehead. His eyes were slightly closed as he judged from the depth and length of the other’s breathing whether the Omega was aroused. Then, at the right time, he leaned in to meet and kiss the Omega’s soft lips, his long fingertips unbuttoning their pajamas.

When Shou Jiaxun woke up, he was lying on top of Liang Bo. Liang Bo’s large hands were on his waist and hips, slowly pressing down…

“Mm? …Wait.” President Shou groaned softly, his tone soft as he called for a stop, instinctively reaching out to push against Liang Bo’s chest.

As a result, he pushed himself into a sitting position. The thing that was supposed to enter gradually and step-by-step bottomed out in one go with the added momentum of Shou Jiaxun’s own push.

Liang Bo took a sharp breath, hugging his lover’s back and waist as he gasped, “Ah! Wife, you’re so good.”

“Don’t, don’t, don’t move…” His wife huddled back against him, trembling. After taking a couple of deep breaths to calm down, he warned again, “Don’t move, my stomach hurts.”

One of Liang Bo’s hands rubbed his lumbar spine up and down. He suggested in a low voice, “Maybe I should be on top; you can’t do this… you got up too fast.”

Shou Jiaxun’s forehead pressed near his collarbone as he hummed softly. His abdomen was still working hard to adapt to the intrusion, trembling in rhythmic shivers. “Don’t move for now… I just woke up.”

Given his current position, he really had nothing to complain about regarding Liang Bo. Liang Bo was, at most, an accomplice. And at this moment, this accomplice was being incredibly considerate, his tender and lingering kisses roaming over Shou Jiaxun’s brow and the corners of his eyes, whispering comfort: “I won’t move, don’t worry.”

What else could Shou Jiaxun say? He could only comfort himself: Ah! I am also just a creature of instinct.

Once things had adapted below, he hesitantly cupped Liang Bo’s face to kiss him, lifting his waist and swaying slightly, letting himself get lost in the night and letting out small, fragmented moans.

Liang Bo kissed him incessantly and densely, while instinctively stroking the back of his neck, still feeling that blocking patch that was firmer than a plaster. That patch seemed to be Shou Jiaxun’s last line of defense. The young President Shou turned his head and struggled once, shaking off Liang Bo’s hand, then simply grabbed both of Liang Bo’s hands and pinned them next to the pillow with their fingers interlaced.

Liang Bo bent his legs to slightly support his body, making it easier for the rarely proactive Omega to move. Shou Jiaxun’s forehead pressed against his as they ground against each other in lingering passion, but instinctively, he never let the other reach his deepest point.

Until they both let out a high-pitched roar together, then clung to each other while trembling before carefully separating.

Shou Jiaxun thought that he likely still had psychological reservations regarding having a child. At this very moment, he felt that having a same-sex lover was just right. Once he imagined his belly being as big as a bushel, with his legs spread wide to give birth to a baby… it still felt quite terrifying. So tomorrow he’d go to the hospital for a checkup. If it was there, it was there; if not, then forget it. Going with the flow was a virtue.

The next day, both woke up early by coincidence. While Shou Jiaxun was pondering how to send Liang Bo away so he could go to the hospital himself, Liang Bo actually proactively suggested taking half a day off, saying his dad wanted him to go home and see his grandfather.

Liang Bo said, “I was supposed to wait until the weekend, but I want to accompany you to the ‘Startup Park’ then.” Liang Bo gave a reason the young President Shou had no grounds to refuse.

Shou Jiaxun naturally nodded readily. “Seeing family is more important. Let your department colleagues know so they can help look after things if something comes up.”

Thus, the two drove off in separate directions—one to the hospital to see a doctor, the other to the university town to see a love rival.

Shou Jiaxun chose a private maternity hospital with fewer people, higher prices, and better privacy protection. Once inside, staff accompanied him throughout the examinations. After receiving several lab reports, he was provided one-on-one diagnostic service by an experienced Omega obstetrician in a luxuriously decorated consulting room with comfortable sofas.

The doctor certainly wasn’t meeting an Omega like him for the first time. She was kind-eyed and gentle, maintaining a smile throughout. “Forgive me for asking, are you married?”

Shou Jiaxun gave a sheepish laugh and shook his head. “Not yet.”

The doctor’s smile remained, becoming even more cordial. “Then, do you still want to keep this child?”

“…Keep it, or abort it?” Shou Jiaxun thought she was asking if he wanted an abortion, so he answered instinctively, “I did originally plan to get rid of it.” After saying that, he thought for a moment and suddenly realized that she hadn’t meant it that way. “Oh, oh, you mean he’s still in my stomach, right?”

The doctor nodded with a cramped smile. “I’m asking you if you want to give birth to the child.”

Shou Jiaxun touched his empty, flat little stomach—he hadn’t even had time for breakfast—and straightened his back a bit. “Right, right. If he’s still there, then… then I’ll keep him.”

The doctor’s smile faded then, and she pondered for half a minute before speaking again. “Your progesterone is on the low side, and there are signs of a miscarriage. If you want to keep the fetus, you need to undergo ‘fetal protection’… and even then, there’s no guarantee it can be saved.”

Shou Jiaxun blinked blankly twice. “Fetal protection—how do you do that?”

The doctor gave him two options: “You can be hospitalized for bed rest and receive fetal protection injections, or you can go home and take medication. It primarily depends on your personal circumstances and which one you can accept.”

Shou Jiaxun’s expression became serious as he pressed, “Is there a difference in the results of the two options?”
