Chapter 64: Imprisonment â Perverted and Twisted Love / Come Over, Call Him Sister-in-Law⌠part 1
Going in together? Is he mad?
Jiang Chenyan took a sharp half-step back, his heart hammering frantically in his chest. His fingertips even felt a numbing chill.
This scene was too eerie, like an out-of-control nightmare.
The manâs broad and warm palm had already reached out. Without allowing for escape, he gripped Jiang Chenyanâs wrist, the force of his fingers nearly embedding into the bone, “Haven’t you always wanted to go in? Youâve been curious for days, haven’t you? Today, Iâll satisfy you.”
“I wasn’t…” Jiang Chenyanâs eyes darkened abruptly, like a deep pool soaked in ink.
His temples throbbed with pain.
Facing this version of Jiang Xuanshen, Jiang Chenyan was half afraid and half disgusted.
He stared at Jiang Xuanshenâs profile and suddenly felt that all explanations were redundant. He had been caught anyway.
“Who exactly is locked inside?” Jiang Chenyanâs voice was tight as he questioned Jiang Xuanshen, “Imprisonment is illegal. Do you understand?”
Everything before him was absurd and ridiculous. Jiang Chenyan was being dragged into a twisted vortex, breathing with difficulty.
Jiang Xuanshen merely shot Jiang Chenyan a cold glance, without a single ripple in his eyes. He didn’t understand at all why Jiang Chenyan was reacting so intensely.
His younger brother was truly making a scene for no reason.
Despite having violated the rules, he was acting even more self-righteously.
“Go in first, then we’ll talk.” His tone was flat. It was time to teach Jiang Chenyan to recognize his position and learn to follow the rules that should be kept.
The force from his wrist suddenly increased, and Jiang Chenyan was almost forcefully dragged forward. Every step was exceptionally difficult.
“Haven’t you always wanted to go in?” Jiang Xuanshenâs voice rang in Jiang Chenyanâs ear, a smile with ill intent. “Now that Iâm bringing you in, shouldn’t you be happy?”
Jiang Chenyan didn’t want to hear this bullsh*t. His eyes cooled bit by bit. “Itâs a trap, isn’t it? From the very beginning, you deliberately lured me here.”
Jiang Xuanshen didn’t deny it in the slightest. Instead, he admitted it frankly.
“Yes. I deliberately lured you in. But even though you clearly suspected something was wrong long ago, didn’t you still fail to suppress your curiosity and come here yourself?”
Jiang Chenyanâs temples throbbed, his breathing rapid. Just as he was about to refute, a beep sounded from his side. The notification sound for the combination lock being released rang out in the silence.
The heavy hinges made a slight turning sound as the door slowly opened inward.
Jiang Xuanshen gave Jiang Chenyan a shove.
“Go in.”
He stumbled inside.
The light in the room was even dimmer than outside, and a faint, stifling atmosphere permeated the air.
In the deepest part of the room, a small floor lamp was lit. The warm light was faint, barely outlining the silhouette of the person on the bed.
The young manâs ankles were wrapped in cold chains. One end of the chain was fixed to the foot of the bed. With his slight movements, one could vaguely hear the soft clink of metal. He was lying on his side, his breath as light as a feather, as if he had fallen into a deep sleep.
Until the commotion of the door opening came, the person on the bed suddenly tensed his body and slowly turned his head.
The color drained from his beautiful face instantly, leaving only panic. A pair of eyes were currently filled with terror, as hollow as if they had lost their soul. Only vacancy and helplessness remained in his gaze, as if he didn’t know how to react.
Jiang Chenyanâs breathing stalled. His gaze fell on the light pink gland on the back of the young manâs neckâthe unique mark of an Omega. Combined with the faint, diluted cedar-scented pheromones in the air, the answer was already clear: the person on the bed was an Omega. Jiang Xuanshen was raising an Omega.
The Omega seemed to have fallen into a state of chaos. His mind was long since unclear. His eyes were half-open, and the exposed skin was covered in shocking marks.
There were deep purple strangulation marks on his neck, bite marks below his collarbone, and several fading red marks on his arms. New and old marks were interspersed; he had suffered long-term abuse.
Jiang Xuanshen noticed Jiang Chenyanâs gaze and didn’t bother to explain, his tone icy, “Seen enough? This is the truth you were curious about.”
Jiang Chenyanâs fingertips were ice-cold. His heart felt as if an invisible hand were gripping it, and his breathing became heavy.
“This is very normal.” Jiang Xuanshenâs voice was as flat as if he were discussing the weather. He walked toward the bedside and reached out a hand. A shadow slowly enveloped the Omega.
Seeing this, the Omegaâs vacant eyes suddenly focused. Instinctive terror exploded, and he scrambled back with hands and feet, a fine whimper escaping his throat.
Jiang Xuanshen ignored his struggle, leaning over to grab his wrist. With a bit of force, he pinned the person firmly onto the bed.
“Wuuu…” The suppressed whimpering sounded in the dim room. The Omegaâs shoulders trembled violently, and tears flowed uncontrollably. The sound of his crying mixed with terror was exceptionally piercing.
“I… I was wrong…” His voice was broken and weak, as if he had exhausted all his strength.
Jiang Xuanshenâs gaze softened. He completely ignored the unstoppable trembling of the person in his arms, reaching out to pull the Omega gently into his embrace. The movement carried an almost eerie tenderness.
He turned his head to look at Jiang Chenyan, who was frozen in place. “He wasn’t very obedient before. Running away, resistingâhe made several scenes. Now, heâs finally much better.”
“When dealing with disobedient people, forceful measures are the most effective. It helps them learn to be obedient the fastest.” Jiang Xuanshenâs hand rested on the top of the Omegaâs head. The movement seemed gentle, but his fingertips were firmly gripping the otherâs hair; the other had zero chance of escaping.
Jiang Xuanshen lifted his eyes, his gaze falling on Jiang Chenyanâs pale face with a hint of nostalgia.
“You were so obedient when you were little. You listened to everything I said.”
The corners of his mouth curled into a frigid arc, his words piercing the heart.
“But whatâs going on now? Like Xiao Yi, youâve learned to defy me.”
Jiang Chenyanâs fingertips trembled. Were they some kind of playthings to be amused by?
Buried in Jiang Xuanshenâs embrace, Xiao Yiâs fingertips curled when he heard his name. His nails dug deep into his palm, but he didn’t dare make even a single sound. Only his suppressed trembling leaked his fear.
Every word Jiang Xuanshen spoke was like a sharp ice pick, stabbing into Jiang Chenyanâs eardrums bit by bit.
He clenched his fists tightly, his nails nearly embedding into his flesh.
“You should be grateful,” Jiang Xuanshen said, as if remembering something. “Xiao Yi used to always think about running away. I had no choice but to break his legs.” He looked down at the face of the person in his arms, which had instantly lost all color. “Since he is my person, he should stay by my side obediently, shouldn’t he?”
Including his younger brother.
He was his to begin with. Since he followed him around when he was little, he should still follow him around now that he was grown.
These words were a warning to Xiao Yi, and equally a warning to Jiang Chenyan.
Jiang Xuanshenâs fingertips forcefully pinched Xiao Yiâs waist. Seeing his cowering manner from the pain, yet not daring to resist, he let out a soft laugh and turned his gaze to Jiang Chenyan, “Chenyan, come over. Call him Sister-in-law.”
Sister-in-law…
Something broke completely.
Every word was like a red-hot iron, repeatedly grinding through Jiang Chenyanâs mind, completely burning away his last thread of rationality.
How disgusting.
Jiang Chenyan did indeed go over, but he went over with his fists. Carrying a heart full of rage and hatred, he slammed a fist hard into Jiang Xuanshenâs cheek.
With a dull thud, Jiang Xuanshen was caught off guard and his head was knocked to the side. His grip on Xiao Yi suddenly loosened.
Jiang Chenyanâs eyes were terrifyingly red. He lunged forward like a madman, his fists and feet falling on Jiang Xuanshen without mercy, using all his strength with every blow.
Sister-in-law? Is this how he treats his partner? No, can this even be called a partner? He completely treats the other as a plaything.
Jiang Xuanshen quickly reacted, raising his hands to block and counter-attack. The two scuffled together, the dull sounds of impact and heavy breathing echoing in the room.
Xiao Yi, who had been tossed aside, was dazed with fear. He curled up at the foot of the bed, watching Jiang Chenyan, who looked like a demon. Is he here to help me?
If Xiao Yi remembered correctly, this was Jiang Xuanshenâs younger brother.
To injure the enemy by eight hundred while losing a thousand yourself.
Jiang Chenyan couldn’t win against Jiang Xuanshen.
