Chapter 63: Not Serving Him, Should I Serve You?
Yu Deng: “…”
He had just come back covered in sweat from outside, and yet Zhou Yuejun didn’t find it disgusting. He even said he was fragrant.
Yu Deng pushed at the person who was making a mess of him. His jade-white, pink-tinged fingertips were inserted into the somewhat stiff hair, giving a retaliatory tug, his soft voice lingering.
“A dog’s nose thinks everything is fragrant!”
But in reality, a sweet and thick fragrance truly wafted from Yu Dengâs body.
It was like flowers after rain, exuding a hint of sweetness while also merging with the elegant freshness of branches and buds.
Zhou Yuejun buried his face in Yu Dengâs chest, feeling Yu Dengâs heartbeat and the rise and fall of his chest, addictively sniffing the scent that went into his bones.
It was bewitching, rich, and enchanting.
It also caused his blood to boil completely.
After being bumped twice by Yu Dengâs body, Zhou Yuejunâs body temperature climbed, and he was ready to go.
The veins on his neck were even more swollen with black and red, his animalistic nature like a wolf.
“You’re so heavy, you’re crushing me.”
“And don’t poke me.”
But clearly, Zhou Yuejun only put a bit of weight on Yu Deng.
Zhou Yuejun suddenly withdrew, a spark rising from his dark eyes: “I’ll go boil some water.”
Zhou Yuejun was busy working in the house.
He was boiling water, washing fruit, making fruit tea, and also gathering Yu Dengâs dirty pajamas.
The clothes were filled with Yu Dengâs scent, making Zhou Yuejun dazed with the fragrance.
Because Yu Deng loved cleanliness, he had to wipe his body after coming home, and sometimes he even had to take a shower; he was incredibly meticulous.
Holding the dirty clothes, Zhou Yuejunâs fingertips rubbed them. He then buried his face in that smooth and delicate fabric, taking a sudden, huge sniff.
He was greedy, as if he had caught a fatal addiction.
The fragrance that went into his bones merged into his body, making his flesh and bones turn soft.
If it were usual, Zhou Yuejun would surely do something bad with the clothes.
Yu Deng was taking a shower in the bathroom, already thinking about his bathtub in his heart.
By then, he could sit in the bathtub without having to stand, without slipping, and without the trouble of repeatedly pouring water to rinse.
Taking a bath must be very comfortable.
And for some reason, Zhou Yuejun loved holding him.
His toes could barely touch the ground, and that bit of strength wasn’t enough to support his balance. He still had to rely entirely on Zhou Yuejun.
And every time, he was covered in sweat and sticky. His lower abdomen was like a water basin, with sweat droplets falling continuously.
Where was the comfort?
But Zhou Yuejun preferred to express love and tension amidst the extreme state of being drenched in sweat.
Yu Deng poured a ladle of water over his head. There were the buzzing voices of two people talking outside, but he couldn’t hear very clearly.
“Resigned?”
Zhou Yuejun wasn’t surprised either. He didn’t take the cigarette He Yuan handed over, only glancing at it without stopping him.
Coming in and immediately setting all sorts of rules wasn’t very good either.
“Yeah, resigned.”
He Yuan lit a cigarette and explained the situation in detail.
It was that the factory manager’s son had molested the female employees at the factory. The girl He Yuan liked had also been harassed, so He Yuan gave the person a beating.
Since things had come to this, not only was there no hope for promotion in the future, but it would also be very easy for him to be targeted and made to wear “small shoes.” He certainly couldn’t stay any longer, so he simply resigned.
He Yuan was open-minded, and there was no look of disappointment on his face.
“When you said you were here last time, I thought of coming to work with you. It’s just a construction site; if I work a bit harder and get a bit more tired, I can earn more. I can handle it.”
He was also from a rural background. In the past, he had threshed grain and carried corn; it wasn’t as if he hadn’t done it before.
Besides, it wasn’t constant carrying at the construction site; there was also laying bricks, mixing cement, and tying rebar.
Zhou Yuejunâs brows were stern, his eyes serious. When he wasn’t smiling, there was always a hint of coldness in his eyes.
Those who knew him knew that he just had a hard temper, but he wasn’t bad.
“The work at the site is almost finished. They are preparing to go to the Nanfeng coast. The wages on the coast are quite good.”
He Yuan didn’t care where he went, but hearing that the wages were high, he couldn’t help but be tempted: “Then let’s go! To the coast, we’ll go together.”
Zhou Yuejun leaned sideways against the wall, his long, narrow phoenix eyes heavy. He shook his head lazily: “I’m not going. I plan to bring back some clothing from the coast to sell.”
Yu Deng came out after his shower. Zhou Yuejun and He Yuan seemed about to go out.
Yu Deng had a towel on his head. His face and neck were all wet, dripping with crystalline water, especially his neck, which was snow-white and slender.
It made one want to pinch it and kiss it, leaving behind all sorts of unspeakable and decadent marks.
His face was flushed, his expression arrogant. His lips were small and puffed out. Just looking at them, they were like berriesâdelicious and enticing.
As for the places where the water droplets flowed, Zhou Yuejun wished he could stroke every inch.
Zhou Yuejun pushed He Yuan out the door first, not missing the moment of He Yuanâs daze.
“He Yuan and I are going out to buy a couple of dishes. Dry your hair. Don’t use the fan to blow it. I’ll check when I come back.”
Yu Deng wiped it randomly a few times. After being perfunctory, he ran into the room, still huffing.
He Yuan tilted his head, only seeing Yu Deng run into the bedroom.
“Why are you acting like an old lady now? Doing all these chores of serving people.”
“If I don’t serve him, should I serve you?”
Zhou Yuejunâs eyes were dark, a dark light flashing through them. That look he gave He Yuan was very meaningful.
He was quite proud.
Zhou Yuejun bought two meat dishes at a small restaurantâTaro Chicken and a very large bowl of Braised Pork. When he got home, he stir-fried some shredded potatoes.
They were all quite bland and not spicy. Yu Deng could also eat the lean meat from the Braised Pork, so Zhou Yuejun separated the lean parts for him.
Yu Deng finished a bowl of mung bean porridge while watching a movie.
his bowl was a small one, much smaller than Zhou Yuejun and the other’s bowls, but he was very slow when eating.
Whether it was a big bite or a small one, he had to chew for a while, puffing out his pink cheeks.
After finishing dinner, Yu Deng ran back to his room.
Seeing that it was Zhou Yuejun who was clearing things upâworking hard without complaint like a big yellow oxâHe Yuan couldn’t help but be a bit more cautious.
He wanted to speak but didn’t know what to say, so he sensibly shut his mouth again.
Zhou Yuejun provided both money and effort, serving the person so well. Presumably, he had already reached an agreement with Yu Deng to pay him back after Yu Deng graduated.
University graduates worked easy jobs and had high salaries, so there was nothing wrong with Zhou Yuejun holding onto this “gold nugget.”
Zhou Yuejun was so smart; how could he be fooled by Yu Deng?
Zhou Yuejun often cleaned the second bedroom; he only needed to lay out a straw mat to sleep on.
He Yuan rolled up the straw mat: “I want to blow the fan too. I’ll go sleep in your room.”
Zhou Yuejun: “…”
his sharp gaze was like a blade, seemingly wanting to act as a nail to pin He Yuan to the wall of this room.
“The bed isn’t big; it can’t fit.”
Zhou Yuejun thought He Yuan wanted to squeeze in between him and Yu Deng. His first reaction was both shock and gloom.
He Yuan had already pulled up the straw mat: “I’m not sleeping on the bed. I’ll sleep on the floor.”
After saying that, he bared his teeth and smiled at Zhou Yuejun.
The smile made Zhou Yuejun furious.
“No.”
“You’ll snore; Yu Deng won’t be able to sleep.”
He had finally found an excuse to block He Yuan, but who would have thought He Yuan would look puzzled and say with a frown: “Don’t you snore too?”
On what basis could Zhou Yuejun sleep there while he couldn’t?
“No!” He was heartless, cold, and repressed.
Zhou Yuejun continued to hold back his anger, his eyes heavy: “If I snore, heâll hit me awake. Two people are very noisy; he won’t be able to sleep.”
“Then he won’t blow the fan.”
He Yuan was truly not acting like an outsider.
“His body is so small, it doesn’t generate much heat. The two of us will blow the fan, and heâll sleep here.”
