Chapter 7: Encountering Danger
Li Liandong naturally noticed the look in Bai Zhouyun’s eyes. However, since this was a private matter between two families, he couldn’t interfere too much as an outsider. He could only lead Nan Yu away first.
After walking a certain distance, Li Liandong realized that Bai Zhouyun actually hadn’t followed them. He was utterly shocked.
“Is this how Bai Zhouyun usually treats you?”
Why even keep a fiancé like that? One should just throw him away!

However, Li Liandong knew the beast’s true target was likely Nan Yu behind him. Nan Yu had excellent talent and was a Middle-Level Jingshenli Zhe.
The flesh and spirit of a mental power user were pure, making them the ultimate tonic for Yineng beasts. Therefore, whenever a Jingshenli Zhe approached areas where beasts appeared, they needed Yineng Zhe to accompany them.
