Chapter 147: I Was Wrong
Yue Zhongxian looked at him. The panic, helplessness, and pleading in his eyes vanished in an instant, replaced by a cold, dark violence and surging murderous intent.
It was him.
It was all him.
He snitched to Sister, making her so angry she was kicking him out of the house!
He wished he could crush him alive and scatter his ashes!
With that thought, the form of silver metal mecha armor began to faintly appear on his neck, arms, shoulder blades, waist, and legs.
In the living room, the light strips flickered, making a “sizzle-sizzle” sound of electric current. The value on the wall temperature controller rose rapidly. The holographic screen, smart furniture, and voice systems all paralyzed.
The little bee robot buzzed frantically as if going mad…
Even the aircraft parked on the lawn began to emit smoke.
Everything was exactly like the day he “rolled down the stairs.” The man opposite him was also provoked into activating his combat power.
Jun Chengyinâs double pupils glowed as he clenched his fists.
Although the High Priest had warned him not to fight him.
As long as it could make him leave Tangtang, everything was worth it.
“Yue Zhongxian?”
“Yue Zhongxian!”
“Big Golden Retriever?”
“Don’t fight here.”
Su Miantang frowned.
She had seen the combat power of two SS-grade males before.
Not only would it level the entire Jiuqing Villa Area, but in severe cases, there would be casualties.
However, the two malesâcaught in a standoff and burning with a rage that seemed ready to explodeâcouldn’t hear her voice at all.
Left with no choice, she raised her palm.
“Mnnâ”
A violent scent of tulips suddenly invaded.
It was no longer the faint fragrance of the past, nor did it carry the beautiful taste of healing and soothing. Instead, it was filled with an intense sense of deterrence, easily knocking him out of the villa and forcing his mecha form to fully retract.
It was… SSSS-grade, Warning-class pheromones?
Yue Zhongxian dropped to one knee, one hand firmly clutching his chest. He lowered his head, looking at his wrinkled, fluttering hem. His honey-brown eyes were filled with confusion and disbelief.
Sister actually used Warning-class pheromones on him?
Just like the pheromones she used on those scumbags in the City of Sin that night.
Although it was just a wispânot even reaching the level of Expulsionâthe blow to his body felt incredibly, incredibly painful…
The sister who was always gentle and doting, who didn’t even get angry when he “accidentally” forgot to apply his protective film and was pseudo-marked, was now driving Warning-class pheromones against him.
She was truly angry.
And she truly wanted him gone.
He had made Sister sad.
In the hall, Su Miantang slowly and tremblingly withdrew her hand, her gaze flickering.
“Tangtang!”
“How are you?”
Jun Chengyin thought her trembling was because she had driven her pheromones too forcefully, and he worriedly checked her body.
The girl shook her head. “Iâm fine.”
“Iâll heal youâ”
“Iâm really fine.” Su Miantang forced a slight smile and comforted him. “Big Golden Retriever, don’t worry.”
“Okay.”
Jun Chengyin saw her low mood and didn’t want to add to her burden. He transformed into his beast form and lay quietly at her feet, keeping her company.
Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock. Time passed minute by minute. Inside the villa, it was so quiet it felt as if no one were there. Outside, however, dark clouds suddenly gathered, and the wind began to howl. Piercing lightning and deafening thunder intertwined like a giant beast roaring.
Before long, a torrential downpour covered the entire Central City.
The little bee robot activated the smart circulation system outside, closed all doors and windows, and flew to the girlâs side. “Master, should I send Commander Yue Zhongxianâs luggage out to him?”
“Has he not left yet?”
She looked up slightly.
“No, heâs been outside all this time.”
Su Miantang stood up and went to the window. Through the heavy, mist-laden curtain of rain, she saw the youth outside.
He was soaked to the bone. Water flowed down his hair, cheeks, neck, and arms. Finally, when it seeped from his tightly clenched fingers, she couldn’t tell if it was an illusion, but it looked red.
Yue Zhongxian was also looking at her, staring at her unblinkingly. His slightly reddened honey-brown eyes were full of trembling and pleading.
Sister, Sister, I was wrong.
Sister, please don’t kick me out, okay?
Sister, give me a chance to change, okay? Iâll never lie to you again.
Sister, don’t make me leave. Itâs impossible for me to leave… even if I die!
Sister, itâs so cold outside. Can I come in?
Faced with the pleading of that extremely familiar face, she couldn’t bring herself to keep watching. She turned her head away. “Send it out. Make him leave immediately.”
“Alright!”
The little bee robot pushed the smart suitcase and flew outside. When it reached the entryway, it tilted its head curiously, looking at a new flask it had never seen before.
“Huh? Master, what is this? Is it also Commander Yue Zhongxianâs?”
Su Miantang walked over and opened the lid.
A fragrant and sweet scent of herbs immediately rushed toward her. Sniffing the aroma: red dates, red ginseng, dwarf lilyturf, goji berries, astragalus, roses… they were all ingredients for nourishing blood and health.
