【Orange × Nanxi】 If You Keep This Up, I Won’t Be Able to Control Myself
It was rare for Lu Yu’an to match with his favorite professional player, so he spent the entire game sticking to Orange.
Usually, it was the Support chasing the AD, but Lu Yu’an, the ADC, was constantly sticking to Orange. He was playing like he was on stimulants; to show off in front of his idol, he was playing fiercely and flashy, constantly showing off his mechanics.
Furthermore, ever since Lu Yu’an had met Orange last time, he had started using a face camera for his streams, which attracted a large wave of fans.
[Bullet Chat: Lu Yu’an, what’s wrong with you? You can’t even walk once you see Orange, right?]
[Hahaha, look at him acting so flashy. I can’t even watch.]
[Are we going to have to bring gifts to a marriage proposal for you at this rate?]
[Here’s a hellish joke: The only thing between Lu Yu’an and marrying Orange is actually knowing him.]
“Cheng-bao knows me!” Lu Yu’an glanced at the bullet chat and saw that comment, immediately clarifying. “We’ve met in person before.”
[Someone’s getting defensive. I won’t say who.]
[Is this how you treat your girlfriend-fans? Being a ‘dream-man’ following a pro player around every day.]
[Sisters, don’t be afraid. He’s just delusional.]
[He’s such a coward. He doesn’t even have the guy on his WeChat yet.]
[LMAO. Other streamers would have already become bros and done a dream collab after chasing an idol. Look at him—he relies entirely on random matchmaking.]
Lu Yu’an had his microphone muted while talking to his fans. He was afraid Orange would hear him acting like a fool with his chat.
Listening to Orange’s clear and concise commands through his headset, Lu Yu’an couldn’t help but repeatedly marvel at how amazing he was.
As expected of the pro player I like.
Lu Yu’an tried to show off some mechanics, but due to a momentary lapse, he was spotted by the enemy Jungler. Although he tried his best to recover, he was eventually taken down.
“Sorry, sorry! Cheng-bao, that was my fault.”
Orange had one of the best tempers in the League. Moreover, he was playing Support, which required him to act as the lubricant between teammates. He rarely got angry and had an even higher tolerance for random teammates. He had no intention of blaming Lu Yu’an.
“It’s fine,” Orange said to comfort him. “Just be careful next time. I’ll protect you.”
“Mmhmm!”
Lu Yu’an muted his mic and slammed his desk in the stream. “How can Cheng-bao be this good?!”
“He didn’t blame me at all! He even said he’d protect me!”
“My life is truly complete today.”
[Hahahaha, Lu Yu’an is definitely going to save the recording of this match, right?]
[Is that even a question? His idol comforted him. He has material for his dreams tonight.]
[But Orange really is so gentle. If I were a fan, I’d like him too.]
[Let me go follow this handsome guy first.]
Nanxi hadn’t said a word during the match. For one, he was a man of few words to begin with. For another, his coordination with Orange was already so perfect that they didn’t need extra communication. Thus, he spent the entire match listening to Lu Yu’an’s howling “confessions” to Orange.
One “Cheng-bao” after another made Nanxi’s ears ring with irritation. He wanted nothing more than to shut the guy’s mouth instantly.
Lu Yu’an still had skills. Once he started playing seriously, he quickly put out the damage expected of an ADC.
“Cheng-bao, did you see my outplay just now?” He called out to Orange excitedly. “A triple kill! Am I awesome?”
Orange hummed. “Very awesome.”
Having received his idol’s acknowledgment, Lu Yu’an’s tail practically started wagging. He played even harder and even asked Nanxi, “Jungler bro, can I have the Red?”
Nanxi: “…”
Then, Lu Yu’an watched helplessly as his own Jungler used his Ultimate to secure the Red Buff for himself.
Lu Yu’an: “…”
“Fine, I’ll go invade the enemy’s then.”
As a result, Lu Yu’an had just secured the enemy Red when he was hunted down. Ultimately, he was no match for the opponents and was taken out, but just then, Nanxi maneuvered his hero over and finished off the low-health enemies.
Lu Yu’an was so angry he almost smoked. “Jungler bro, that was a bit low! If you had come out earlier, we could have totally killed them both!”
Nanxi typed a reply: Didn’t see just now.
Lu Yu’an: “…”
He had a feeling this Jungler was targeting him, but he couldn’t prove it.
Not until Orange spoke up. “My Ultimate is ready. Let’s start a team fight in a bit. You stay in the back and deal damage.”
“Got it, Cheng-bao!” Lu Yu’an completely threw Nanxi to the back of his mind. Regardless, he just had to help Cheng-bao win this round.
With two pro players and one streamer, winning a random match was hardly a challenge. When the Crystal was about to fall, Lu Yu’an asked Orange if he could add him as a friend.
Orange agreed.
As soon as they exited the match, he was invited into a room.
Lu Yu’an’s tone was filled with excitement. “Cheng-bao, it was so great to play with you tonight!”
Orange had always been very good to his fans. He replied politely, “I had a great time too.”
Lu Yu’an: “Then can I ask you to play together again in the future?”
Orange: “Of course.”
This wasn’t just a perfunctory answer. Although Orange was a pro Support, his skill level in other roles was far above ordinary players. He had carried fans several times before and even added some as friends.
In fact, the fans knew in their hearts that being allowed to stay on his friend list was already great; how could they actually expect to play with their idol again?
However, there was a fan of Orange who, while trying to invite a friend for a casual match, accidentally invited Orange.
Orange had even gently told her that he was planning to be online for a bit anyway, so they could play a round together.
According to that netizen, the recording of that match had basically become a family heirloom.
Lu Yu’an felt like he needed to go burn incense in thanks. “Then I won’t disturb you anymore. Good luck with your matches, Cheng-bao! Go win another championship!”
“Mm.”
After saying goodbye to Lu Yu’an, Orange returned to the private duo-queue room with Nanxi.
As it turned out, in the very next game, they matched with Lu Yu’an again—except this time, he was on the opposing team.
Lu Yu’an was ecstatic.
[Cheng-bao, Cheng-bao! We met again!]
[Go easy on me!]
Nanxi had reached his limit. Though he didn’t say much on the surface, he spent the entire game specifically hunting Lu Yu’an down. There was already a gap between the skill levels of a pro and a streamer, and Nanxi was one of the strongest Junglers. Targeting Lu Yu’an was effortless. He killed him over ten times until Lu Yu’an was eventually reported by his own teammates for intentional feeding.
Nanxi even gave him a “Like” on the settlement screen.
Lu Yu’an was practically crying in his stream. Looking at the settlement screen, he wailed, “Nanxi! How could he be so ruthless?!”
“To beat me like this right in front of Cheng-bao, do I not have any dignity?!”
[Hahahaha, though you’re pitiful, I’m dying of laughter.]
[The entertainment value is maxed out, everyone.]
[My mom told me to go outside to laugh.]
[Hahaha, it’s okay, it’s okay. We don’t blame you. The enemy was too strong.]
[POV: My first husband beating up my second husband.]
[Orange: This Jungler is so bad.]
[Just a ‘6’ (impressive).]
“He was on the same team as Cheng-bao!” Lu Yu’an protested through tears. “How can Cheng-bao be so soft and cute while he’s like a Killing God?!”
While Lu Yu’an was still wailing in his stream, Orange and Nanxi had already logged off.
“Jian Yu, I’m a bit sleepy.”
Orange rubbed his eyes, his voice trailing off softly as if he were acting spoiled.
Nanxi reached out and patted his head. “Then get some rest.”
Orange could tell that Nanxi had been jealous during the matches. It was just that Lu Yu’an was his fan and a platform streamer, so he had to consider the team’s image.
A boyfriend still needs to be coaxed, but not while in a match.
Orange looked up at Nanxi and opened his arms, acting spoiled.
“Carry me back.”
Nanxi could hardly believe his ears. Orange had just said he wanted Nanxi to carry him back?
Looking at Orange’s lazy, soft appearance, Nanxi felt his heart melt.
He hummed an acknowledgment and stepped in front of him, leaning down slightly. Orange wrapped his arms around Nanxi’s neck.
With a light jump, he wrapped his legs around Nanxi’s waist.
Nanxi placed his hands under Orange’s thighs to ensure he wouldn’t fall.
He really was like a soft little cat.
Everyone else had gone out for a meal, so only the two of them were in the base today. That was why Orange dared to act so shamelessly spoiled.
The training room was on the first floor, while their rooms were on the third. Nanxi didn’t find Orange heavy at all; to hold his lover in his arms like this made him feel incredibly happy.
Orange leaned against him, his face buried in the crook of Nanxi’s neck. Every so often, his lips would lightly brush against Nanxi’s skin.
His legs were hooked tightly around him.
It was very itchy, making Nanxi’s breathing turn heavy.
He said with a stiff face, “Baby, stop it.”
But his reddened neck had already betrayed him.
Orange thought Nanxi looked absolutely adorable like this and couldn’t resist teasing him.
“Jian Yu, call me ‘Gege’ let me hear it.”
Nanxi: “…”
“I’m older than you. Isn’t it only right for you to call me that once?”
“Hmm? Jian Yu-di-di?”
Nanxi’s face darkened instantly.
He pushed the door open, placed Orange on the bed, and prepared to leave. “Baby, get some rest.”
But as he turned, Orange grabbed his belt from behind, hooking a finger through and gently pulling him back.
Then, he pointed at his own lips. “We haven’t had today’s goodnight kiss yet.”
Nanxi leaned down and gave him a quick kiss. “Goodnight.”
“Jian Yu, I want to feel your abs.”
“Can I?”
After Nanxi hummed an acknowledgment, Orange’s hand slipped under the hem of his shirt, touching him bit by bit. Nanxi couldn’t help but let out a muffled groan.
Grabbing Orange’s hand as it aimlessly set fires, Nanxi leaned down and whispered, “Baby, if you keep this up, I won’t be able to control myself.”
