Ouyang Xiaoli shielded his eyes with his arm; the overhead light cast a hazy yellow glow.
Want to be the sister-in-law?
It’s not that easy.
He softly snorted.
Ouyang Xiaoli composed himself and left the bathroom. Xia Yi had already changed into new clothes: a white shirt and black skinny jeans.
The pants were slightly tapered at the calves, perfectly outlining Xia Yi’s pretty legs.
The outfit suited him very well.
Ouyang had a keen eye for detail. Although he had only hugged the little merman yesterday, it wasn’t difficult to accurately determine his measurements.
That night, Xia Yi remained curled up on the sofa, dejected. In the middle of the night, for some reason, the temperature suddenly dropped, waking him up.
Xia Yi was a little angry.
Reason told him he could sneak into the room and quietly climb onto the bed, not only to warm up but also to foster his relationship with Ouyang.
But Xia Yi was still in a huff. Nobody would be happy to be woken up by the cold.
“Even if I freeze to death, turn into an ice cube, I won’t climb onto his bed!”
He declared with dignity.
A few minutes later, Xia Yi bowed to fate. He scurried into the master bedroom clutching a blanket, while the smelly man in the master bedroom slept soundly.
Burrowing into the warm bedding, Xia Yi sighed contentedly. This was heaven on earth; who needed dignity? Staying alive was the most important thing!
He happily drifted off to sleep.
Ouyang Xiaoli dreamt he was walking along the beach. A wave crashed over him, throwing him onto a rocky outcrop. The rock was cold and hard. Just as he was about to leave, he saw tendrils sprout from the rock, wrapping around him. He struggled, but to no avail.
Just as he considered using a hand chop to cut them, the rock suddenly transformed into a merman, identical to the one in his house, with a golden tail, soft and cute, staring at him with wide eyes, his body softly leaning against him.
Ouyang Xiaoli dared not move.
Then the little merman started to molest him, becoming bolder and more excessive. Ouyang Xiaoli, the leader of the Underground City, when had he ever been so submissive!
He sneered, using his overwhelming strength to pin the merman to the rock, turning passive into active, kissing the merman until he was breathless.
The merman’s voice became increasingly seductive.
Xia Yi woke up in pain. He saw his slender, white arm forcefully grasped by the man behind him, instantly bruised.
The pain made his eyes redden.
Moreover, the man behind him was moving his waist like a motor, panting.
If he still didn’t understand what had happened, Xia Yi would be a fool.
Ouyang, he didn’t know what he had dreamt, was like an electric motor early in the morning, his strength as if to literally kill the other person.
Even through the pants, it was unbearable!
Ouyang Xiaoli finally calmed down.
He contentedly opened his eyes. Before he could savor the dream, he saw someone curled up in his arms, softly sobbing…
Ouyang Xiaoli: !!!
He jumped out of bed in fright.
Xia Yi, tearful, sat up, looking at the man dejectedly. His shirt was crumpled, and a glimpse of fair skin was visible.
Ouyang Xiaoli was still a bit dazed.
“Ouyang,” Xia Yi sniffled, his face tear-streaked and pitiful, but he was carefully trying to please the man: “I… I don’t hurt. You can do anything to me.”
Ouyang Xiaoli took a moment to recover.
His messy hair mirrored his chaotic mind.
“How did you get into my bed?” The warmth of the dream lingered; his voice was slightly hoarse and low.
Xia Yi timidly looked at the man.
“The sofa was too cold.”
Thinking Ouyang didn’t like others touching his bed, he hurriedly got down, barefoot, tidied the bedding, and obediently waited for the impending scolding.
Ouyang Xiaoli’s gaze fell on the little merman’s new pants. On the buttocks, there seemed to be a strange white stain.
Ouyang Xiaoli: “…”
A strange smell faintly permeated the air. Although not strong, as a man, Ouyang Xiaoli couldn’t possibly not know what it was.
He felt embarrassed for the first time ever.
The dream’s images were incredibly vivid; the soft, snug sensation was so real it was seared into his memory. As for why it was so real, when he saw the back of Xia Yi’s pants, Ouyang Xiaoli found the answer.
“Ouyang?” Seeing the man just staring blankly, Xia Yi’s eyes showed some confusion.
Ouyang Xiaoli pretended to be calm. He averted his gaze, clearing his throat: “That… do you think you should change your pants first?”
Xia Yi stood there blankly.
He mumbled, “Take off my pants?”
Ouyang Xiaoli frowned, feeling something was wrong, but he didn’t think much of it. Wasn’t the first step to changing pants taking them off? Perhaps the little merman wasn’t yet accustomed to human life and couldn’t express himself clearly, only managing simple things.
So Ouyang Xiaoli nodded.
Xia Yi hesitated. Although he had said Ouyang could do anything to him, at this moment, he suddenly felt nervous and uneasy.
But he still slowly undid the buttons.
Ouyang Xiaoli finally understood what was wrong, but just as he was about to stop him, the black skinny jeans thudded to the ground…
Xia Yi shyly covered his front.
Ouyang Xiaoli: “…”
He had a dark line across his forehead; the little flame ignited by his dream extinguished completely: “Hurry up and put your pants on. I meant for you to go outside and change into a new pair; you don’t have to take them off in front of me…”
The room door suddenly swung open, Koda’s voice approaching: “Big Brother! Tang Si asked why you haven’t come downstairs yet; you were supposed to go to the Starstone Market together…”
Koda’s eyes widened.
His words trailed off.
His gaze slowly fell on Xia Yi’s white and tender little bottom. He blinked, his face suddenly reddened, and he stammered, “Big, Big Brother, did I interrupt…”
A death glare shot his way.
Koda shut his mouth.
An awkward silence filled the air. Koda held the doorknob, unsure whether to pretend nothing happened and leave, or…
Forget multiple choices.
Koda cleverly slipped away.
Xia Yi still knew how to be shy. Seeing Koda at the door, he panicked, quickly squatting down to pull up his pants and put them on properly.
“K…Koda’s here.”
“Mm.” Ouyang stared expressionlessly at the little merman who had caused all this trouble.
Xia Yi blushed, “Next, next time.”
Ouyang Xiaoli: “…” Great, he wasn’t just a lecherous beast in Koda’s eyes; he had also cemented his defamed reputation in the little merman’s heart.
He sighed, “I accidentally soiled the back of your pants, so I just wanted you to go outside and change into a new pair.”
“It wasn’t anything else.”
Xia Yi was stunned, the blush on his face gradually fading. Looking at the man, he pouted, suddenly feeling a little wronged.
“You, you don’t like me?” His eyes were red-rimmed, stubbornly refusing to let tears fall.
Ouyang Xiaoli ruffled his hair in frustration, unsure how to explain.
So he casually hummed in agreement.
“Don’t mention the sister-in-law thing again.”
He found a pair of pants and changed quickly, not bothering with the fact that someone was still in the room. After all, the most embarrassing things had already happened, and this didn’t matter much.
After changing, he left the room and saw Koda sitting on the sofa, looking straight ahead; he ignored him and went into the kitchen.
Xia Yi came out with a red nose.
Koda secretly glanced at Xia Yi, his eyes filled with excitement and agitation.
If he had known the little merman was this capable, he wouldn’t have come so early. He had interrupted Big Brother’s good time and would probably be beaten up by him.
He blamed himself for forgetting that Big Brother had a pretty little merman here. He had lived here for a while before, coming and going without restriction.
There was nothing to be reserved about between two men, and Big Brother hadn’t said anything about it.
He couldn’t do this again.
Xia Yi ignored Koda. He went to the sofa and rummaged through the large bag from yesterday, finding a new, clean pair of pants.
Koda’s eyes widened again.
He stared intently at the white stain on the back of Xia Yi’s pants, which looked like milk, his mouth forming an “O” in shock!
He couldn’t recover for a long time.
From the moment he opened the door, to Big Brother coming out, to Xia Yi coming out, it was only about three minutes. Big Brother was that fast?!
Xia Yi turned to Koda, displeased with his gaze: “Xia Yi is changing pants now; nobody except Ouyang is allowed to look!”
Koda was still staring at the white stain.
He seemed somewhat incredulous. After a long time, he muttered to himself, “No wonder Big Brother always refuses other black mermen’s advances. No, I have to keep Big Brother’s secret; this kind of thing that damages a man’s reputation absolutely can’t be let others…”
Xia Yi puffed out his cheeks: “You’re not allowed to look!”
Koda suddenly came to his senses, looking at the little merman, suddenly feeling guilty. If he had known Big Brother was like that, he wouldn’t have misled the little merman.
He had harmed him.
The more Koda thought about it, the more he couldn’t bear it.
Ouyang Xiaoli, with a nutrient solution in his mouth, leaned against the kitchen doorframe: “Go change in the room.”
Xia Yi nodded obediently.
Only Ouyang Xiaoli and Koda remained in the living room. Ouyang Xiaoli finished his nutrient solution and slowly walked to Koda’s side, casually sitting down.
Koda couldn’t help but shiver.
“Don’t say anything irrelevant to Xia Yi; he kept talking about wanting to be the sister-in-law yesterday,” Ouyang Xiaoli’s voice sounded quite calm.
Koda glanced at Big Brother.
Suddenly, his nose felt sore.
Big Brother must be insecure and unwilling to let Xia Yi be the sister-in-law; he didn’t want Xia Yi to suffer, always thinking of others.
Big Brother was too good!
“Big Brother, I’m sorry,” Koda felt more and more sorry for Big Brother, his voice choked.
Ouyang Xiaoli was startled.
“But Xia Yi… he’s so good; I really hope he can be the sister-in-law, Big Brother! Why is the heavens so unfair to you!”
Koda started to sob.
Ouyang Xiaoli: ???
He didn’t want to sit with this idiot.
“Big Brother, you don’t like Xia Yi?” Koda sniffled, his eyes filled with tears.
“I don’t like him.”
Ouyang Xiaoli casually replied.
“Big Brother, I know you like Xia Yi; nobody wouldn’t like the cute Xia Yi. Actually, we should all be optimistic.”
“The illness can be cured.”
Koda said cautiously.
Ouyang Xiaoli looked at him expressionlessly: “Mental illness?”
Koda: “…”
He regretted it deeply.
He must have touched Big Brother’s sore spot.
Ouyang Xiaoli couldn’t bear it any longer: “Idiot.”
