Chapter 160: Slap Him Twice
“Y-You guys…”
“Simply shameless!”
Having never witnessed such an absolute lack of respect toward a female, Alan tensed his jaw tightly, his scalp completely numbing with rage. He wanted to charge forward to teach them a lesson, but the moment he met the man’s casual glance, his footsteps froze completely.
No matter how outstanding he was, he was merely an A-grade male. In front of an SS-grade peak titan, a single look could effortlessly crush him into ash, exactly like that gibbon from earlier.
“What? You’re a mere tiny white crane, yet you want to throw down with us? Are you tired of living?”
“Shameless? You call this shameless? There are plenty more shameless things where that came from!”
“After being locked up in this prison for so long, I think this male looks quite delicate and smooth too. Hyena, didn’t you always love to target a person’s lower half…”
“W-What do you think you’re doing? Don’t come any closer!”
Seeing them closing in on Alan with absolute malice, Su Miantang spoke up.
Her previously clear, polite voice, which had carried a trace of a subtle apology, was now entirely laced with an imperceptible chill.
“Is there another option?”
“Another?”
Tenleson looked at her, his knuckles tapping against the stone bench in a methodical, unhurried rhythm.
Suddenly, a raucous clamor echoed from the southeastern corner of the recreation yard; the convicts from Sector Ten had been released for their recess.
“Go make that guy wearing the yellow shirt come over here, kneel down before me, and strike three loud kowtows.”
The crocodile beastman looked over, his eyes instantly widening. “That’s the Boss of Sector Ten, an S-grade powerhouse! Compared to our Boss, he’s obviously nothing, but his bones are incredibly stiff. He’s been beaten so many times yet refuses to submit, let alone coming over to kneel and kowtow. It’s an absolute pipe dream!”
The centipede beastman added, “His animal form is a massive grizzly bear, and his hands are stained with the blood of countless victims. I’m terrified that the moment you approach and open your mouth, he’ll rip your heart and lungs straight out!”
The lizard beastman interjected, “We should confiscate her card first, lest she activates her financial superpowers again!”
“Go ahead.”
Tenleson’s tone was entirely lazy.
He hadn’t even considered the possibility that she would choose the latter.
Yet the moment his words fell, the young girl turned on her heel and walked directly toward the southeastern corner without a single split second of hesitation.
Hissβ
Across the yard, a collective sound of sharp, unbelievable gasps echoed. The man’s deep eyes contracted violently.
She would actually prefer to walk straight into her own execution rather than…
Clearly, just a moment ago, she had been so shy, harboring explicitly wanton thoughts about him to the point where her entire body trembled.
What on earth was going on inside her head?
He could hardly restrain himself from activating his Mind Reading capability once more, but he forcibly held himself back.
He wanted to see exactly how long she could hold out, and how she would eventually come crying to him to beg for his rescue.
“Group Leader, don’t go there!”
In Alan’s eyes, her current action was no different from escaping a tiger’s den only to leap straight into a wolf’s lair.
The prisoners of Sector Eleven were also completely unable to comprehend it.
“Is she insane?”
“Our Boss is so handsome, yet she refuses? She insists on going to find that hideous grizzly bear? Could there be some kind of defect inside her brain?”
“I dare to bet that the moment she walks over and repeats the Boss’s words, the grizzly bear will instantly rip her flesh apart, leaving her with a grotesque corpse!”
“Don’t say that, it would be an absolute pity for such a breathtaking female to die.”
But the grizzly bear was an S-grade beastman; none of them could stand against him. On this entire scene, only their Boss possessed the power to handle him…
The monkey beastman stole a quiet glance toward the man, only to see his gaze fixed unblinkingly onto the young girl’s silhouette, deep and entirely impossible to read.
Su Miantang walked toward the southeastern corner, simply because she would never agree to his first demand. She hadn’t actually devised a strategy to make the Boss of Sector Ten come over to kneel and kowtow.
However…
Catching sight of the black dice cup he was constantly holding in his hand, a flash of inspiration suddenly crossed her brain.
“Hello.”
She stepped forward to greet him. The prisoners of Sector Ten noticed her, their mouths instantly opening wide in absolute shock. One of them even fainted straight onto the ground from sheer excitement.
How could such a breathtaking female exist?!
Even the grizzly bear, who had always remained entirely immune to female charms, couldn’t help but stare blankly.
“Who are you?”
Yet he quickly regained his senses, turning his head to glance at the man sitting lazily on the stone bench in the distance, his arms crossed as he watched the entertainment.
She had come over from the Anaconda King’s side?
Could it be that he had devised some fresh trick to torment him again?
“Don’t waste your breath on me, I harbor zero interest in females…”
“Do you know how to roll dice?”
Su Miantang cut him off directly, causing an uproarious laughter to instantly erupt around them.
“Hahahahaha!”
“Of course! Our Boss is a literal Gambling King!”
“The kind who has conquered the entire interstellar realm without a single opponent!”
Hearing the flattery, the grizzly bear proudly picked up the dice cup, shaking it twice before chanting ‘six ones.’ When he lifted the lid, it was exactly as he said.
It appeared to be his absolute greatest pride.
“Did you see that?”
“I saw it.”
Su Miantang nodded her head, having noticed his subtly twitching ears.
So he relied on his hearing.
“I have a friend who also knows how. Why don’t the two of you play a round?”
“What?”
The grizzly bear suspected he had misheard her words.
In this universe, someone actually dared to challenge him to a gamble?
They were simply begging for death!
“Could that friend of yours happen to be the Anaconda King?”
“No.”
“Then where is he?”
“He isn’t here, but it won’t affect anything. I can just send a message through the optical computer.”
“Hahahahaha…”
The grizzly bear assumed she was playing a massive joke. Rolling dice and guessing the dots required absolute physical proximity to track the acoustic frequency. The person wasn’t even on the scene, so what on earth were they playing?
Nevertheless, since she had proposed it, he would obviously accept the challenge.
In this entire interstellar realm, there wasn’t a single gambling match he could lose.
“You can gamble, but there must be a wager. If I win, you…”
He pointed at her, his eyes flashing with a deep-seated resentment and rage from being oppressed for far too long.
“Will walk right back over there and slap the Anaconda King twice!”
Su Miantang: “…” What kind of absolute blood feud existed between them?
“Deal.”
In the distance, the man who was lazily crossing his arms caught their conversation, his narrow eyes darkening subtly.
Most notably, she had actually agreed to it.
Heh.
By some strange trick of fate, his gaze fell onto her fair, tender, and small hand.
Su Miantang: “What if you lose?”
“I can’t lose!”
“So if you lose, you plan to back out?”
“Absolutely not! When it comes to gambling ethics, if I claim to be second, nobody would dare claim to be first. If I lose, I will be completely at your disposal!”
The grizzly bear waved his massive palm, never having entertained the possibility of his own defeat, especially to a tiny female.
“Then who guesses first?”
“You, obviously. I want to see exactly what kind of miraculous capability this friend of yours possesses to guess the dots from a distance without even listening to the sound. Out of the six dice, as long as he can guess four correctly, it counts as your victory!”
“Alright.”
Su Miantang smiled slightly.
In that case, wasn’t her victory already absolute?
She looked down at the medical box in her hand, as if she could already see it packed full with a supply of snake blood.
“Let’s begin then.”
“Meerkat, roll the dice!”
“Alright, Boss~”
While they were rolling the dice, Su Miantang opened her optical computer and tapped into a priority contact contact.
