Chapter 111: Husband, I Was Wrong
Ye Ran’s pupils instantly shook with the force of an earthquake.
Wait, is this right?
When did Chi Yuheng learn to tell lies with a straight face from him?
Ye Ran knew that Chi Yuheng usually didn’t like wasting words with strangers; even if he did speak, he would save every character he could.
But today, what he saved was simply too ridiculous, right?
As soon as Chi Yuheng’s voice fell, he felt the area on his chest pinched hard by a certain someone through his shirt.
Even through a layer of clothing, that force still made Chi Yuheng’s brows furrow slightly.
In the elevator, President Chi didn’t get angry; instead, he felt like playing along with Ye Ran.

Ye Ran immediately stopped moving.
Just then, the elevator doors opened. There were many people waiting outside to get on, and the sound was a bit chaotic. When Chi Yuheng said this, the man beside him didn’t hear it clearly.
He only heard two words: “fall” and “gone.”
The man sighed softly, “That’s a pity then.”
The Chi family’s car was already waiting at the entrance of the inpatient department.
Ye Ran got into the car and immediately tore off the coat covering him, first taking large gulps of fresh air.
He was like a kitten Chi Yuheng had hidden in his arms; while being held, he kept burrowing into him, but once put down, he wished he didn’t touch him at all.
Originally, covering him with the coat hadn’t smothered him; the deadly part was that pinch Chi Yuheng gave his butt.
It was so sudden that he couldn’t even cry out. This endurance made Ye Ran’s face turn red; he nearly suffered internal injuries.
After catching his breath, Ye Ran’s hand naturally moved behind him, constantly rubbing the patch of soft flesh that had been pinched painfully, occasionally letting out a few “hiss…” sounds.
Chi Yuheng looked at how much Ye Ran was hurting and reflected on himself.
He didn’t seem to have used much force; it shouldn’t be to the point where it still hurt even in the car.
Regardless, he was the one who had pinched Ye Ran, so he naturally had to take responsibility.
In the next second, Chi Yuheng’s hand moved to Ye Ran’s waistband. “Let me see if it’s pinched badly.”
As soon as Chi Yuheng’s voice fell, the partition in the car slowly rose until not a single sound could be heard from the back.
Xin Yu sighed silently in relief. Fortunately, he had been quick with his eyes and hands just now; he had almost heard something he shouldn’t have.
Ye Ran directly slapped Chi Yuheng’s hand away. He had been slumped in the back seat, in a posture somewhat like lying on his side with his butt facing Chi Yuheng.
Now that Chi Yuheng’s hand reached over, Ye Ran didn’t care if his legs were soft or if his butt hurt; he immediately sat up straight.
“It’s not hurt at all!”
“Chi Yuheng, just now in the elevator, that man asked if your wife was pregnant, and you actually ‘Mm-ed’!”
“What are you ‘Mm-ing’ for? Can a man get pregnant? Tell me, mm?”
Ye Ran glared at him, a series of words pouring out without pause.
That stance was exactly like a teacher catching a student who had made a mistake, questioning why he had filled in ‘3’ when 1 plus 1 clearly equals 2.
Chi Yuheng braved the “storm” and reached out again. “Are you sure you don’t need me to look?”
Just as expected, Ye Ran slapped his hand away again. He used quite a bit of force; the back of Chi Yuheng’s hand was slapped red.
“Give me an explanation.”
Ye Ran stared at him solemnly, his gaze so sharp it seemed to say that if he didn’t explain things clearly today, he could pounce and bite him to death at any time.
Chi Yuheng looked at Ye Ran’s puffed-up appearance and had no choice but to take his hand back, giving him a proper explanation.
“He said, ‘Is your wife pregnant?'”
Ye Ran gave a muffled “Mm,” his chin tilting up slightly, his gaze still carrying a bit of accusation.
Chi Yuheng turned to look at him. The light in the car fell softly on his well-defined face, and Ye Ran’s silhouette was clearly reflected in his eyes.
He asked in a slow tone, “Then, are you my wife?”
He asked so suddenly that Ye Ran didn’t react.
After a few seconds of silence, Ye Ran nodded. “Mm.”
Chi Yuheng still looked at him, his brows furrowing slightly, his eyes carrying a bit of deliberately feigned grievance, and his tone also softened. “You hesitated…”
“Where did I hesitate?!” Ye Ran immediately retorted, his voice rising significantly. “I just didn’t react.”
Ye Ran observed the change in Chi Yuheng’s expression, feeling as if his delayed response of a few seconds had caused Chi Yuheng some immense grievance.
Ye Ran’s heart immediately went soft as a puddle. He straightened his chest and told him in a booming voice, “I am your wife. Even if the sky falls, I am your wife.”
A flash of a smile flickered in Chi Yuheng’s eyes, but his lips remained tightly pursed. “You are my wife. Let me hear you call me ‘Husband’.”
There could be many boyfriends.
A boyfriend in a relationship can be called a boyfriend, and a male friend is also a boyfriend.
But there can only be one husband.
Chi Yuheng was crazy to have a clear status.
After hearing Chi Yuheng’s words, Ye Ran was stunned.
He felt like he had been trapped by Chi Yuheng.
Mm, it was even a serial trap.
Chi Yuheng had clearly woven the noose and was enticing him into it step by step.
The point was that he was so silly as to be about to enter.
“Chi. Yu. Heng!” Ye Ran squeezed a few words through his teeth.
Chi Yuheng cupped Ye Ran’s face, his gaze focused and burning, as if he wanted to suck him in entirely, yet his tone carried an undeniable gentleness. “Be good, call me Husband.”

Ye Ran’s face was cupped into a bun by Chi Yuheng; his pronunciation wasn’t very clear, and he could only make muffled sounds.
“Mmph… Chi Yuheng… don’t be so handsy…”
Chi Yuheng took the opportunity to pinch his face, his heart nearly melting. “Fine, not handsy. Just ‘mouthy’.”
“Mmph… Chi Yuheng… you bastard…”
Chi Yuheng took his lips, gently lingering and grinding.
No escape, no hiding.
“Chi… Chi Yuheng… I’m still your Client Boss…”
“You… you’re using ‘unspoken rules’ on me…”
“Mmph… scoundrel Chi Yuheng…”
Chi Yuheng wanted to say that the term “unspoken rules” wasn’t used like this.
However, rather than explaining it to Ye Ran in detail, he might as well just show him through action.
In the next second, Ye Ran’s clothes were lifted.
Chi Yuheng’s fingertips finely stroked the skin of his waist, the heat in his eyes nearly burning through this cramped space.
The voice that was initially bristling slowly turned into fine, fragmented whimpers.
“Try scolding me again?”
Chi Yuheng’s voice was very low, carrying a smile. His warm breath brushed past Ye Ran’s nose, instantly invading all of Ye Ran’s senses.
Ye Ran panted, and only after a while did he squeeze out a few words in a voice as tiny as a mosquito’s, his voice so soft it was beyond words.
“Husband, I was wrong…”
