Chapter 70
Before An Le could finish his sentence, Lu Heng kissed him. When he let go, An Le was dizzy from the kiss.
Lu Heng smiled, “Let’s make a bet. Let’s see if An Qiang will come back within an hour.”
An Le said in a daze, “He… he will, probably.”
If what his mother said was true, An Qiang would definitely come back.
Lu Heng: “I think so too. Then there’s no bet, let’s just do it.”
An Le: “What?”
Then, feeling dizzy, he was straddling Lu Heng. Lu Heng supported his head with his hand, “Today, Mr. Lu will leave the initiative to Le Le.”
An Le panicked, blushing, and calling out, “Mr. Lu…”
Lu Heng didn’t speak, but held An Le’s waist, preventing him from escaping. He even used pheromones, and An Le finally blushed and started unbuttoning Lu Heng’s pants.
But before he could finish, Lu Heng hugged him and turned them over, switching positions…
An hour later, An Le, blushing, put on his clothes and opened the door, leaning against the doorframe, looking out with weak legs.
Unfortunately, he saw nothing. He turned back disappointedly. There was no movement downstairs, as if An Qiang hadn’t come back at all.
But they had clearly heard An Qiang come in.
An Le didn’t understand, turning back, “Mr. Lu, why… is there no sound?”
“Of course not.”
Lu Heng smiled and beckoned An Le, “Come here, I’ll tell you.”
An Le quickly ran over. Lu Heng sat up and pulled him into his arms, “Since it’s something that can’t be said, they definitely won’t make a big fuss in the living room.”
If they made a big fuss in the living room, wouldn’t An Le hear it?
That would be counterproductive.
After Lu Heng pointed this out, An Le immediately understood why. He pouted dejectedly and didn’t say anything else.
He had originally planned to listen, like this morning, to Luo Ping losing her mind and cursing him, hoping she’d blurt out some useful information. Unexpectedly, this time they couldn’t even hear a sound.
Lu Heng: “Don’t worry, there will be news.”
His plan, although not 100% perfect, wouldn’t deviate too much. Luo Ping would come looking for him.
—
“Bitch, you actually dared to tell An Le about twelve years ago. Are you trying to kill me?”
After An Qiang entered, he locked the door, slapped Luo Ping, and showed her the phone. The home surveillance clearly recorded the scene of Luo Ping and An Le talking.
Luo Ping was dumbfounded. She was too anxious today and forgot that there were surveillance cameras at home. She also didn’t expect An Qiang to check the surveillance cameras at this time.
She shook her head, “Husband, let me explain. I just wanted to trick them. I just…”
But before Luo Ping could finish, An Qiang interrupted, “I don’t care if you wanted to trick them or save An Yi, you can’t use what happened twelve years ago as a bargaining chip. Zhou Xiao’s death can never be told to An Le!”
If it were before, even if An Le knew, it wouldn’t matter. Now, Lu Heng was behind An Le. If Lu Heng found evidence, they would never be able to turn things around.
Luo Ping: “But, if we don’t do this, what about Xiao Yi? He’s our only son! You can’t not save him!”
“When you did this, you only thought about him being your son, you didn’t consider me at all.”
An Qiang’s gaze was cold and ruthless, “You short-sighted bitch, do you really think that An Yi will be safe once I fall?”
She of course knew that if An Qiang had a problem, An Yi wouldn’t be able to stay out of it, but she could ask Lu Heng to protect her son, otherwise, why would she do this?
As for her not considering An Qiang’s feelings, wasn’t it because An Qiang was so ruthless? The wife who had helped him rise to prominence, he gave away without hesitation.
But now she was also dependent on this alpha, she had no choice but to cry, “Husband, I was wrong…”
“Don’t call me that!”
An Qiang fiercely pushed her away, “And you’re wrong. An Yi is your only son, not my only son.”
Hearing this, Luo Ping knew what An Qiang meant.
Sure enough, An Qiang smiled, “I don’t only have him as a son. Whether it’s an omega son or an alpha son, I don’t lack them.”
An Yi was just one among many. He could do his best to protect this son, or he could simply discard him.
Luo Ping immediately understood that she had reached a dead end, she knelt down with a thud, hugging An Qiang’s leg and crying, “Husband, I was wrong, I really was wrong. Please don’t do this, I won’t do it again, please…”
An Qiang pushed her hand away, smiling, “If you still want to be with me, forget about An Yi, pretend you don’t have this son, and I’ll let you have another one.”
“If you must have An Yi, I can send you in to keep him company.”
After speaking, An Qiang stood at the door, “Give you the afternoon to think it over. Tell me your answer tonight.”
Unless absolutely necessary, An Qiang wouldn’t easily drive Luo Ping away. Firstly, Luo Ping was sensible and good at taking care of him, and she was beautiful.
Secondly, Luo Ping knew the truth about Zhou Xiao’s death twelve years ago. He had to keep her close, to prevent Luo Ping from talking nonsense like this morning.
He also wanted to send Luo Ping away immediately, to a place where An Le couldn’t find her.
But if he sent Luo Ping away now, it would seem too guilty. An Le was already suspicious. If he did this, An Le would be certain.
Therefore, no matter how much he disliked them meeting, he couldn’t directly drive Luo Ping away.
Otherwise, what if Luo Ping, heartbroken and desperate, told An Le everything that happened back then?
An Qiang gritted his teeth and said before leaving, “When I’m not home, don’t leave this house, otherwise…”
An Qiang didn’t finish, but Luo Ping knew what he meant and nodded tearfully, “Husband, I understand.”
An Qiang left.
Since he had decided which path to take, he had to do it.
—
An Yi, who had been locked up for several days, finally saw An Qiang.
Seeing An Qiang, a glimmer of hope flashed in his eyes. He grabbed the door and shouted, “Dad, Dad, you finally came! Save me! They’re going to put me in jail! I don’t want to go, Dad!”
“Xiao Yi.”
An Qiang nodded, signaling An Yi to calm down.
An Yi was surprisingly obedient, nodding and smiling without speaking.
An Qiang: “Xiao Yi.”
An Yi: “Dad.”
An Qiang said helplessly, “This is indeed your fault. Dad has told you many times, if you do something, don’t let others catch you. You’ve betrayed my trust and hopes in you.”
An Yi didn’t understand what his father meant, anxiously saying, “Dad, I didn’t… I didn’t let anyone catch me. It was an accident. It was…”
An Qiang: “I don’t care if it was an accident, but you shouldn’t have let it happen. Xiao Yi, Dad can’t protect you anymore. If you’ve done something wrong, you have to take responsibility yourself.”
An Yi was instantly stunned, “Dad?”
An Qiang ignored him, but coughed towards the door. An Qiang’s most trusted assistant came in, carrying three large bags of daily necessities and snacks.
An Qiang took out a card from his pocket and handed it over, “This is Dad’s last help for you. In there, learn to control your temper and don’t make things worse.”
“Dad!”
An Yi looked at An Qiang in disbelief until An Qiang turned to leave.
Only then did An Yi roar unwillingly, “Dad!”
“Dad, don’t abandon me! Don’t give up on me! Dad!”
“Dad…”
Unfortunately, An Qiang quickly disappeared from his sight, and no matter how much he raged, it was useless.
Finally, the police helped him take all his things to the room and locked the door again.
After An Yi’s rage subsided, he sat on the ground without saying a word for three whole days. Only when the trial came did he understand that his father had not only abandoned him because of this matter, but had also pushed all the things he had done onto him.
An Yi vehemently denied it. He felt that he was not wrong and wanted to report An Qiang, but was judged to be mentally ill and was forcibly imprisoned.
An Yi’s ending was within Lu Heng’s expectations, but Luo Ping’s ending was unexpected.
Luo Ping hid in the room and never came out again.
An Qiang, however, went through this ordeal unscathed.
Recently, Gu Chen might also be busy dealing with the things involved in this matter and hasn’t had time to chat with An Le.
An Le followed Lu Heng to work every day, learned to paint, and casually looked for things in An Qiang’s study, and tried to crack the safe’s password.
But he found nothing.
Lu Heng’s people had a new discovery. He looked carefully at the documents before beckoning to An Le, who was painting. “Le Le, come here.”
An Le was currently painting his impression of his mother. Hearing Lu Heng’s words, he quickly put down his pen and ran over, “Mr. Lu, what’s wrong?”
Lu Heng handed the document to An Le, “I found out why your mother was with An Qiang.”
An Qiang’s family was indeed powerful, but they were on the verge of bankruptcy due to something and finally sought help from Zhou Xiao, An Le’s mother. The two families married, and Zhou’s family solved An’s crisis.
An Le was stunned after reading it, “So, he really didn’t like Mom, he was only with Mom for money.”
That’s right, if he liked Mom, why would he treat their child like that, and have so many illegitimate children outside.
An Le’s eyes reddened, feeling sorry for his mother.
Lu Heng hugged him, “If they didn’t have feelings for each other, it would further prove that Mom’s death was indeed wrong.”
As long as there’s a lead, things will be much easier.
Lu Heng didn’t want An Le to be too sad, so he shifted his attention, whispering, “Don’t cry, this matter will be cleared up soon. Aren’t you painting Mom? Show me what Mom looks like.”
An Le was stunned, wiped away his tears, and turned to get the painting.
But as he reached the table, his phone rang. It was Xiao Xiao.
An Le quickly answered, whispering, “Xiao Xiao.”
“Le Le.”
Xiao Xiao’s voice was choked with tears, “Le Le, how much money do you have on your phone? Can you lend me some?”
