The Stunning Omega of the Commander Tears the Cannon Fodder Script chapter 28

Chapter 28 Not Just Pants

“Sister-in-law, it’s me, Ji Weishen!”

The door was knocked open with a loud bang.

“Come in.”

As soon as Ji Weishen entered, he was hit by an overwhelming scent of rosemary.

The difference in rank was like the Mariana Trench, an unfathomable abyss.

The suppression of rank was too intense.

Ji Weishen’s legs went weak, and he covered the back of his neck, almost kneeling.

“Sister-in-law… sister-in-law… Quickly, ask the Elder to withdraw his spiritual powers…”

Ji Weishen held onto the doorframe, crying bitterly.

There was no pheromone cleaning agent in the room. Shen Zhuo put on a slightly damp shirt and got out of bed, walking to the door.

“Deputy Captain Ji, do you have something to discuss with me?”

Ji Weishen still felt grateful that he didn’t have to go inside, but the smile on his face faded when he saw Shen Zhuo.

He carefully asked:

“Sister-in-law, did the commander upset you?”

Shen Zhuo looked at him: “No.”

“Then, you…”

The young man’s expressionless face sent shivers down Ji Weishen’s back.

The TV in the background was still playing, with the omega’s voice soft and gentle.

After hearing a few sentences, Ji Weishen’s face darkened as well.

“When I picked you up yesterday, it was only with the commander. Shall the commander clarify it?”

Ji Weishen glanced angrily at the TV.

“I’ve seen him, his gland level is far from being able to control the oracle.”

Shen Zhuo was actually angry when he first heard this news.

He could overlook Xun Qing’s behind-the-scenes machinations.

But he wouldn’t really let him climb on top of him.

“No need. If he wants to claim it, let him claim it.”

But in the time between Ji Weishen knocking on the door and their conversation, Shen Zhuo suddenly realized something.

Since Xun Qing wanted to take credit for this, he didn’t need to snatch it.

Instead, he should thank Xun Qing’s haste for profit.

“Some things can’t be done just by saying them.”

Shen Zhuo turned his head towards the TV, fluttering his eyelids:

“Coveting other people’s things can only end up trapping oneself.”

Ji Weishen inexplicably got goosebumps.

How come sister-in-law’s expression seemed so sinister?

It’s even more terrifying than the commander’s anger!

The atmosphere gradually calmed down.

The young man returned to his usual calm demeanor.

“It’s like this, your friend Ai Li said she wants to see you, and there’s also someone called…”

The deputy captain thought for a moment, clenching his fist and slapping it into his palm:

“Oh yes, there’s also an alpha named Liang Yeta who has something to discuss with you. They’re both in the next building.”

Shen Zhuo pulled his coat tighter and nodded to Ji Weishen:

“Okay, I’ll go there this afternoon. Thank you.”

Ji Weishen immediately shook his head and bowed to Shen Zhuo:

“It’s nothing, then I’ll be going, sister-in-law.”

The young alpha left in a hurry.

Before Shen Zhuo could emphasize that he doesn’t need to call him “sister-in-law”, Ji Weishen had already disappeared at the end of the corridor.

The interview on TV ended.

Xun Qing smiled gently at the camera, his posture graceful and dignified, very befitting of a queen consort.

“I’m very sorry for deceiving everyone, but at the time the situation was urgent, and I had to do so. Fortunately, there was no mishap, and I apologize to everyone here.”

Shen Zhuo glanced at it and pressed the power button.

Du Xun returned at half past ten.

The young man was lying on the bed, flipping through a battle record book that Du Xun had placed on the bookshelf.

The clothes from yesterday were still torn and scattered on the floor.

Half of them were torn by Du Xun, and the other half were ripped off by Shen Zhuo himself.

Fortunately, the entrance was a long corridor.

When Ji Weishen came earlier, he didn’t see the overturned state of the room.

The omega’s slender white legs were casually draped, with a hint of up-and-down motion.

From the ankles, all the way to the inner thighs, there were large and small red marks.

The young man didn’t seem to know, brazenly exposing this vast area of ambiguous marks.

Hearing the sound of the door opening, Shen Zhuo didn’t look up.

The suddenly released soothing pheromones in the air indicated who it was.

Du Xun walked over and, seeing Shen Zhuo’s bare legs, frowned:

“Why aren’t you under the covers? You’ll catch a cold.”

The alpha sat on the edge of the bed and was about to pull the covers over.

But the young man rolled over and naturally leaned against the man’s chest.

He raised his hand and pointed to the words recorded in the notebook.

“Here, you recorded that the possibility of the Insect Tide was only one percent. How come it just so happened to break out on the day you simulated it?”

Shen Zhuo was still wearing the shirt.

Not just the pants.

Du Xun folded the covers a little more, covering Shen Zhuo’s legs.

He also tightened his embrace around the young man’s waist, making him more comfortable.

During this process, he inevitably touched the warm skin.

Shen Zhuo shifted a bit in Du Xun’s neck.

“It hurts…”

Shen Zhuo had quite a few external injuries on his body.

Yesterday, Du Xun was extra careful not to let the wounds reopen.

And the large amount of soothing pheromones he exuded had kept Shen Zhuo from feeling pain.

Du Xun didn’t say anything, his grip becoming much gentler.

The pheromones enveloped the young man like the deep sea.

“Mm…”

Shen Zhuo wasn’t actually in pain.

The large amount of pheromones had made him feel comfortable and hazy.

But he liked to see Du Xun anxious.

Du Xun looked at the notebook.

“The cause of the Insect Tide is still under investigation, and the reason is still unknown.”

Shen Zhuo raised his chin, from this angle, he could only see the man’s sharp jawline and thick lashes.

“You also think it’s man-made, don’t you.”

Shen Zhuo’s casual words made Du Xun pause for a second.

Du Xun lowered his gaze: “What do you mean by that?”

“If it wasn’t man-made, the Insect Tide could be predicted, at least three hours in advance with the corresponding wavelength.”

“The command center has a detection station, and three hours before, we hadn’t even gone in-”

Shen Zhuo stopped his deduction.

He opened his eyes and then squinted them again.

Suddenly, his mind felt hazy and dizzy, and he could only see the alpha in front of him.

He felt that Du Xun looked really good.

Was it wrong for him not to like him?

Shoving the notebook into Du Xun’s hand, Shen Zhuo, who was originally leaning against him, suddenly sat up.

He straddled Du Xun’s lap.

The sensitivity during his heat made him constantly ponder over things he normally wouldn’t pay much attention to.

For example, pondering his feelings towards Du Xun.

“What’s wrong?”

Du Xun raised his hand and brushed the strands of hair covering the young man’s eyes.

“Are you uncomfortable? Or do you want to tell me something?”

“No…” Shen Zhuo muttered, grabbing his hand.

He was heating up again, to the point that he didn’t have any room left to think.

After bonding, an omega’s heat would have a period of lucidity, but it would soon enter the bonding heat again.

Repeated many times, lasting until the end of the three-day heat.

During the lucid times, he could still think about other things.

But during the bonding heat, he only wanted to get close to his alpha.

Wanting to be close, wanting to touch.

Wanting Du Xun to look less distressed.

“If… I need some time to learn to like you…”

The little omega, as if he had done something wrong, just held onto Du Xun’s hands.

After a long while, he finally looked up.

“Will you get angry?”

Du Xun gripped his hand in return.

With the other hand, he gently stroked the young man’s back, soothing him.

The cold alpha lowered his head, his expression tender.

He lovingly kissed the young man’s fingertips. “No.”

“I never will.”
