Chapter 28 Not Just Pants
“Sister-in-law, it’s me, Ji Weishen!”
The door was knocked open with a loud bang.
“Come in.”
As soon as Ji Weishen entered, he was hit by an overwhelming scent of rosemary.
The difference in rank was like the Mariana Trench, an unfathomable abyss.

“Sister-in-law, did the commander upset you?”
Shen Zhuo looked at him: “No.”

The young man’s expressionless face sent shivers down Ji Weishen’s back.
The TV in the background was still playing, with the omega’s voice soft and gentle.
After hearing a few sentences, Ji Weishen’s face darkened as well.
“When I picked you up yesterday, it was only with the commander. Shall the commander clarify it?”
Ji Weishen glanced angrily at the TV.
“I’ve seen him, his gland level is far from being able to control the oracle.”
Shen Zhuo was actually angry when he first heard this news.
He could overlook Xun Qing’s behind-the-scenes machinations.
But he wouldn’t really let him climb on top of him.

The young alpha left in a hurry.
Before Shen Zhuo could emphasize that he doesn’t need to call him “sister-in-law”, Ji Weishen had already disappeared at the end of the corridor.
The interview on TV ended.
Xun Qing smiled gently at the camera, his posture graceful and dignified, very befitting of a queen consort.

Shen Zhuo glanced at it and pressed the power button.
Du Xun returned at half past ten.

He raised his hand and pointed to the words recorded in the notebook.
“Here, you recorded that the possibility of the Insect Tide was only one percent. How come it just so happened to break out on the day you simulated it?”
Shen Zhuo was still wearing the shirt.
Not just the pants.
Du Xun folded the covers a little more, covering Shen Zhuo’s legs.
He also tightened his embrace around the young man’s waist, making him more comfortable.
During this process, he inevitably touched the warm skin.
Shen Zhuo shifted a bit in Du Xun’s neck.

“The command center has a detection station, and three hours before, we hadn’t even gone in-”
Shen Zhuo stopped his deduction.
He opened his eyes and then squinted them again.

He felt that Du Xun looked really good.
Was it wrong for him not to like him?
Shoving the notebook into Du Xun’s hand, Shen Zhuo, who was originally leaning against him, suddenly sat up.
He straddled Du Xun’s lap.

But during the bonding heat, he only wanted to get close to his alpha.
Wanting to be close, wanting to touch.
Wanting Du Xun to look less distressed.
“If… I need some time to learn to like you…”
The little omega, as if he had done something wrong, just held onto Du Xun’s hands.
After a long while, he finally looked up.
“Will you get angry?”
Du Xun gripped his hand in return.
With the other hand, he gently stroked the young man’s back, soothing him.
The cold alpha lowered his head, his expression tender.
He lovingly kissed the young man’s fingertips. “No.”
“I never will.”
