All the Furries in the Academy Want to Pet Me chapter 13.2

Part 2

Yan He turned and saw Pan Ze staring at him, his eyes bloodshot, his face a mask of murderous rage.

Yan He was completely baffled. He had no idea why Pan Ze was looking at him like that. Was it because he hadn’t waited for him at the clinic last night? But he had left early to spare Pan Ze’s pride.

“Senior Pan…”

Before Yan He could finish, Pan Ze let out a yell and charged at him like a mountain.

Yan He instinctively tried to step back, but it was too late. He felt the items in his hand being snatched away.

Pan Ze threw a single, declarative sentence over his shoulder as he ran: “It’s mine now!”

Yan He: “???”

What the hell? I paid 199 for that! The money’s already gone!

Yan He immediately chased after him, but Pan Ze had already jumped in his car and sped off.

Pan Ze parked the car in a secluded corner. He panted, watching the blood from his strained abdomen soak through his white undershirt. He stared at the silver collar on the passenger seat, finding it an eyesore.

He took out his phone, opened the Meng Shou app, and had one of his lackeys give him Bai Yuzhou’s username. He sent him a private message—

“If you want the collar Yan He bought for you back, come to the woods on the south side of the academy. [Image]”

A few minutes later, Bai Yuzhou replied, “Okay.”

Yan He stood in front of the pet store, cursing. He had no idea what had gotten into Pan Ze to make him snatch a dog collar.

[Bai Yuzhou: I got back from my morning run. Why is there a husky in our room? It just escaped out the window. [Video]]

In the video, the massive white husky suddenly leaped onto the windowsill and disappeared in a flash.

Yan He felt like the video was staged. The dog had shown up out of nowhere and disappeared just as strangely, as if they were treating him like an idiot.

[Little Sprout He: Can you and the white husky appear in the same shot?]

[Bai Yuzhou: …Next time for sure.]

Since the husky had already escaped, Yan He returned the dog food and checked the time before heading toward Cafeteria No. 1.

The breakfast stall that sold the soup dumplings had completely blown up overnight. A long line of specially-enrolled students was queued up in front, and there was a new promotional sign that read—F4 APPROVED!

Yan He’s heart sank. With the celebrity endorsement effect, was the owner going to raise the prices? Selling pre-made frozen food for 88 yuan would be daylight robbery!

“I heard He Shao from the F4 personally called and said he didn’t want to eat frozen soup dumplings! This is great, now we can always get fresh, handmade buns.”

Yan He was surprised to overhear the students in line. He Ting had made the call? It wasn’t strange for the owner to obey, but he never thought He Ting would condescend to make such a call.

Yan He only cared if the price was going up. A specially-enrolled student next to him smiled and said, “The price isn’t changing.”

The cost of labor had increased, but the price was the same? Did the F4 beat the greedy capitalist? While Yan He was pondering this, it was finally his turn. He silently watched as the original eight soup dumplings per order became—six.

What a scammer!

The owner was working hard, wrapping buns. When he saw Yan He in his mask, he asked, “What kind of filling do you like? It’s all thanks to you, classmate. This one’s on the house.”

Yan He: “Do you have beef?”

The owner instantly flew into a rage. “Cows are so cute! How could you eat a cow?! Moo—!”

A few minutes later, Yan He left the stall with six shrimp-filled soup dumplings, a fried dough stick, and a cup of soy milk. He found a corner table in the cafeteria to eat.

He figured Yun Xiao wouldn’t be up early today. He had just sent him a WeChat message telling him not to bring breakfast.

He could slack off on company time again. Yan He was overjoyed and immediately replied with a “1” to show he understood.

As he was sipping his soy milk, his phone on the table vibrated violently. Yun Xiao sent a series of angry and annoyed stickers.

What now?

[Yun Xiao: Forget it. Come to the F4’s common lounge and set the table.]

Fickle big bird.

Yan He’s face fell when he saw the message. Work was calling. He wiped his mouth and went to the bus stop outside the cafeteria.

The closest stop to the F4’s common lounge was still seven or eight hundred meters away. After getting off the bus, Yan He had to walk down a long, two-lane road. To the left was a seemingly endless, dense wood. He could faintly hear sounds of laughter and roughhousing coming from inside.

Pan Ze stood with his arms crossed, surrounded by his F4 lackeys, and sneered at Bai Yuzhou, who was tied to a tree.

The rope used to tie him was none other than the leash that came with Yan He’s collar.

“You vomited on Brother Ze and dared to make him your chauffeur. You didn’t see this coming, did you?” A lackey stepped forward and patted Bai Yuzhou’s wet face.

Another lackey dragged over a green garden hose. The water was drawn from a mountain spring and was exceptionally cold.

The icy water drenched Bai Yuzhou from head to toe. His shirt clung to his muscular frame, and he choked on several mouthfuls of cold water.

Bai Yuzhou glared at Pan Ze. Of course, he saw this coming.

Ever since he had gotten carsick and thrown up on Pan Ze on the first day, he knew his life at the academy wouldn’t be easy. He had pissed off a rich kid on day one.

He had managed to escape unscathed yesterday entirely because of his new roommate. From now on, he knew he couldn’t avoid it.

“Brother Ze, he dared to puke on you today, tomorrow he’ll be trying to seduce the F4. We have to teach him a lesson,” a lackey egged him on.

“Mm.” Pan Ze held a cigarette between his lips, looking somewhat distracted. He used to care if someone tried to get the F4’s attention, but now he seemed to only care if… they were trying to seduce Yan He.

He had to give this lowly specially-enrolled student a warning.

Pan Ze stubbed out his cigarette and stared at Bai Yuzhou’s icy face with a mocking, meaningful smile. “Bring it over.”

“Coming, Brother Ze!” A lackey excitedly brought out a first-aid kit and pulled out a small vial of medicine and some disposable syringes.

The lackey drew the medicine into the syringe and respectfully handed it to Pan Ze.

Pan Ze held the syringe and gently pushed the plunger, expelling the air and a small droplet of liquid. He walked up to Bai Yuzhou. “You like transforming to seduce people, don’t you? I’ll show you the price for offending me!”

Bai Yuzhou’s pupils shrank when he saw the syringe. He began to struggle violently. “Get away! Don’t touch me!”

A lackey jeered, “Hahaha, look how scared he is! What a poor little thing.”

“Scream all you want. No one’s coming to save you, you pathetic loser.”

The needle pierced Bai Yuzhou’s skin and entered a vein. Pan Ze let out a sinister cackle as he pushed the plunger, enjoying Bai Yuzhou’s furious expression.

Scared now? Terrified?

This was the anti-transformation shot developed by the school clinic. It contained various nutrients, and even with the student discount, it cost 1288 yuan a pop. Last night, Bai Yuzhou had pretended to be too poor to afford it, but it was all so he could transform and seduce Yan He.

Since it wasn’t administered at the school clinic, there was no reimbursement. Pan Ze had grit his teeth and paid full price for it!

He was going to make Bai Yuzhou understand the consequences of offending him at Bestia Academy!

Yan He couldn’t watch any longer. He immediately walked into the woods. “Senior Pan, what are you doing? I just saw the campus security patrol!”

Yan He hadn’t read the novel and only knew about major events from his female colleagues. He had no idea if the protagonist, Bai Yuzhou, was injected with some strange drug that caused him to go crazy and fight the F4 later on.

Pan Ze turned around, his villainous smile freezing on his face. He fumbled.

“Security patrol? Crap, we’re screwed if they find us! Brother Ze, let’s run!” a lackey yelled, his face pale.

Pan Ze shot Bai Yuzhou a vicious middle finger, then glanced smugly at Yan He before retreating with his lackeys.

Hahaha, the shot’s in. I win this round! Let’s see how Bai Yuzhou transforms to seduce Yan He now!

Pan Ze and his group scurried out of the woods like thieves.

Yan He looked at the discarded syringes and vials on the ground, his heart sinking. He quickly went to untie Bai Yuzhou.

Bai Yuzhou slumped onto the grass. Seeing his weak state, Yan He patted his shoulder. “Bai Yuzhou, are you okay? Hang in there, I’ll take you to the school clinic.”

Bai Yuzhou said, “10,888.”

Yan He paused. “What?”

Bai Yuzhou stared at the English label on the vial, his expression complex. “This is a special nutrient shot from the Bestia Academy clinic. The original price is 10,888 yuan per shot. It’s the same one Pan Ze got last night. I couldn’t afford it.”

He had just transformed and hadn’t fully regained control of his body. The moment the liquid entered his system, he felt himself recovering. It was good stuff.

If Pan Ze hadn’t forced this shot on him, he probably would have never been willing to use such a drug in his life.

Yan He tilted his head, almost thinking he had misheard. “Huh?”

So, Pan Ze, with a villainous look on his face, had injected the protagonist with a nutrient shot the protagonist couldn’t afford? What was he so smug about then?

Is this some kind of tough-love act?

“What are you doing here?” Bai Yuzhou asked, feeling the changes in his body and changing the subject.

Yan He: “I’m here to set the table for Young Master Yun at the F4’s common lounge.”

Bai Yuzhou’s eyes darkened slightly. I see…

At that moment, a black, extended Lincoln was driving down a small road. Yun Xiao and He Ting sat on opposite sides.

The F4 had a special early morning class. They could skip any other class they wanted, but not this one. Shen was out of town, and Xu was still out sketching in the wilderness training area, so only Yun Xiao and He Ting went.

Class had just ended, and they were heading back to the F4’s common lounge for breakfast.

Yun Xiao stared at his WeChat chat with Yan He, ruffling his hair in frustration.

He stole a glance at He Ting, who was calmly reading the academy newspaper as if nothing had happened, not mentioning a word about their “private meeting” in the chemistry lab last night.

Yun Xiao looked at the last message he had sent, asking Yan He to come set the table, and grew even more irritated. He opened the car window, letting the wind rush in, and muttered to himself, “Was I too easy on Yan He, letting him off the hook like that?”

As the Lord of the Skies, a golden eagle, Yun Xiao’s eyesight was exceptional. From a distance, he could see two figures sitting outside the woods.

“At Bestia Academy, specially-enrolled students need to find protection from a higher-ranking rich kid if they want to graduate peacefully. Yan He, is that why you became an F4 lackey?” Bai Yuzhou asked, watching Yan He’s expression closely.

Yan He couldn’t exactly explain that the Yun family was his family’s employer, so he just nodded vaguely.

A self-deprecating look crossed Bai Yuzhou’s face. He muttered, “Yeah, if it were me, I’d probably…”

Yan He’s curiosity was suddenly piqued. He leaned in and asked, “Bai Yuzhou, if you had to choose someone from the F4 to protect you, who would you pick?”

He had heard his female colleagues say that even late in the story, after the protagonist had become the new king, he was still fighting with the F4 and hadn’t chosen a main love interest. It was almost like a story with no romance. He was suddenly very curious who the protagonist really liked.

Bai Yuzhou was taken aback. He countered, “Who would you choose?”

Yan He answered as if it were obvious, “Yun Xiao, of course. Everyone knows he’s a big bird!”

Yan He wasn’t gay, but he tried to think about it. If all other external factors were the same, when choosing a boyfriend, wouldn’t you pick the one who was… better endowed?! And the author herself had given him the “big bird” label!

In the black, extended Lincoln not far away, Yun Xiao’s eyes instantly lit up, a blush spreading across his face.

He Ting calmly crumpled the newspaper in his hand into a ball and tossed it out the window. Hmph, Yan He has indeed been spoiled too much.

His bird was not small!
