Streaming Earth Cuisine In The Interstellar to Raise Star Cubs chapter 24.5

Part 5

What he needed was spiritual energy that could be enhanced by jade, and in front of him was the raw stone, which clearly contained the potential to produce jadeite.

Ning Yunyi didn’t raise his hand immediately. He waited until the host called out a few more times without anyone responding before slowly lifting his hand.

Sure enough, no one contested him, and he secured it for three hundred thousand star coins.

The host nearly laughed out loud. One gullible buyer was enough, but now there were two?

However, he held back his laughter and cheerfully continued, “Now, let’s present the last item of the day, and the rarest—one 3S-level energy crystal.”

As the energy crystal was brought out, the host quickly took out a detection device and scanned it. The display immediately showed the words [3S-level High-Quality Energy Crystal].

The previously silent auction hall erupted into excitement. People urged the host to announce the starting bid, unable to contain their anticipation.

The host maintained his composure, building suspense before finally stating, “The starting bid is one million star coins.”

Immediately, someone matched the bid.

Those present had received invitation letters and were not short on money; they had come specifically for this crystal. The bidding price skyrocketed.

Ning Yunyi had no intention of competing. After all, the starting bid was already his current net worth.

Within a few rounds, the price for the crystal reached three million.

At that moment, JĂ HĂ o in the front row spoke up, “Five million.”

The auction hall fell silent for a moment as everyone turned to JĂ HĂ o, gritting their teeth. Where did this newcomer come from? Was he willing to risk everything with such a price increase?

Clearly, this price exceeded expectations, causing many to withdraw. Some, reluctant to let go, grit their teeth and added a little more.

JĂ HĂ o glanced at his wristband, full of confidence as he continued to raise the bid. “Six million.”

This time, no one dared to contest JĂ HĂ o.

Although a 3S-level energy crystal was rare, its market price was only around four to five million.

This person clearly had money to spare and was determined to secure it.

The newcomer was well-dressed, exuding wealth, and was an A-level mental power user. He seemed to have quite a background.

In the end, JĂ HĂ o won the 3S-level energy crystal for six million star coins.

Relieved after confirming his bid, JĂ HĂ o smiled and quickly replied to the person across from him, confirming his success.

Ning Yunyi, watching from behind, also smiled.

After the auction concluded, the three successful bidders were asked to stay behind.

In a good mood after acquiring what he wanted, JĂ HĂ o nodded and smiled at Ning Yunyi.

This person was quite interesting—naive and wealthy, spending money on a questionable imitation stone.

The three of them approached the counter to pay with their wristbands. Ning Yunyi used Mr. Xǔ’s ID.

To his surprise, Mr. Xǔ had quite a bit of money, just enough to cover the cost of the raw stone.

This made Ning Yunyi feel even better.

Because the raw stone was heavy, the auction house provided a disposable moving robot capable of carrying over a thousand pounds.

Ning Yunyi walked out with the palm-sized yet sturdy little robot.

He wasn’t walking quickly, and behind him followed a person-sized brown stone, also exiting the auction house, clearly labeled with four words: “naive and wealthy.”

JĂ HĂ o tucked the energy crystal into his jacket. As he stepped outside, he saw this scene unfold in front of him.

His eyes darted around, noticing the curious gazes from those nearby. He quickly approached and initiated conversation. “Hello, sir. What a coincidence to run into you again.”

Ning Yunyi, seeing the bait being taken, smiled. “It is quite a coincidence.”

Though Ning Yunyi recognized JĂ HĂ o as a stranger in the underground city, JĂ HĂ o mistakenly thought he was a familiar face.

To avoid being robbed, JĂ HĂ o decided to seek out a familiar presence for support.

The two chatted, each with their own thoughts, until they exited the underground city. JĂ HĂ o felt relieved and increasingly sensed that Ning Yunyi had some background.

To be cautious, JĂ HĂ o said, “Meeting like this must be fate. Where are you headed? How about I give you a ride?”

Ning Yunyi’s smile became more sincere. “Sure.”

When they boarded the spaceship, Ning Yunyi provided an address.

Jí Hào piloted the ship forward. After more than an hour, he began to feel that the area looked familiar. As he followed Ning Yunyi’s directions, he finally realized where they were.

It was near the abandoned spaceship where Ning Yunyi had once lived.

The ship stopped in a secluded alley, and the hatch opened with a whoosh, causing JĂ HĂ o’s expression to change. “Y-You, who are you?”

Ning Yunyi shrugged innocently. “I said earlier, sending a photo is boring. Here I am, delivering in person.”

JĂ HĂ o finally understood. “You’re Mr. Xǔ’s person? What do you want?”

Ning Yunyi shook his head. “How could Mr. Xǔ dare? If he wants to deal with you, it’s because he thinks you know too much.”

JĂ HĂ o immediately released his mental power, trying to act, but suddenly felt as if something was binding him, leaving him unable to move.

He couldn’t even utter a word.

Ning Yunyi stepped forward, leisurely taking the box containing the energy crystal from JĂ HĂ o’s arms. He retrieved the energy crystal and shoved the empty box back into JĂ HĂ o’s embrace. “I told you, seeking the tiger’s skin can lead to death if you’re not careful. Why are you so naive? You know so many secrets, yet that person still lets you leave this garbage planet alive?”

He placed his palm on JĂ HĂ o’s head, effortlessly wreaking havoc in his mental sea.

JĂ HĂ o silently struggled in pain, but he couldn’t break free.

“You brought Ning Yunyi here for profit, cheated him out of all his star coins, and instructed Mr. Xǔ to take action against him. You know full well what will happen to someone who can’t protect themselves, yet you still did it.”

“Now you’ve become useless and lost all your star coins. Without a wristband to prove your identity, how will you survive on this predatory garbage planet?”

Under JĂ HĂ o’s fearful and pleading gaze, Ning Yunyi removed his wristband and handed him a tube of nutrient solution worth one star coin. “Initially, you didn’t leave Ning Yunyi even a single star coin. But I’m different; I’m quite kind. I’m leaving you this nutrient solution so you can at least die full. Just don’t know if those who want to snatch the energy crystal and find nothing on you will shift their anger. So… good luck.”

After doing all this, Ning Yunyi expressionlessly kicked JĂ HĂ o down.

Not long after the ship left, several other ships arrived at the alley, all targeting the energy crystal in JĂ HĂ o’s possession.

Ning Yunyi piloted the ship back while pulling out JĂ HĂ o’s wristband to check the recent chats with the mastermind.

Seeing the name in the notes, Ning Yunyi’s previously calm gaze darkened.
