Streaming Earth Cuisine In The Interstellar to Raise Star Cubs chapter 27.3

Part 3

Little Meow Cub looked up with teary eyes: “Meow?” Father doesn’t blame him?

Ning Yunyi stuffed the little cub directly into his arms. “Alright, you’re young and couldn’t control it. It’s not your fault. Father couldn’t control it either when he was little. It’s all the same.”

Little Meow Cub’s beast eyes were wet, becoming increasingly translucent like crystals. “Meow?” What is Father saying? How come he doesn’t understand?

Ning Yunyi picked him up and rubbed his face against him vigorously. The whole black ball puffed up, fluffy like a hedgehog.

Little Meow Cub was completely dumbfounded, naturally forgetting to be sad.

Holding the little cub, Ning Yunyi looked unexpectedly at the Big Cat beside him, who had just stood up and shaken its fur.

Big Cat instantly sensed danger. Not good!

But Ning Yunyi moved extremely fast, pouncing quickly. Putting Little Meow Cub on Big Cat’s head, his hands began to wreak havoc on the cat’s back. “Charge!”

The father and son were merciless. One rubbed against Big Cat’s head, the other scrubbed its back.

Instantly, Big Cat’s fur seemed to explode collectively. In a flash, it went from Big Cat to Big Lion.

Big Cat was entirely numb. It knew Ning Yunyi was a dog, but it didn’t expect him to be this of a dog.

Using a big cat to coax a small cat—is a big cat’s life not a life?

But the effect was outstanding. The little cub squeaked and meowed, obviously no longer sad. He was even jumping around in excitement from playing with his father.

What could Big Cat do? It could only stare resentfully. Look at me, do I look anything like before?

My species has changed, okay?

After coaxing the little cub, Ning Yunyi took him upstairs to wash up, incidentally letting the exploded Big Cat groom its fluffy, ball-like fur.

Upstairs, Ning Yunyi had the little cub transform back first and asked about what happened earlier, including how he suddenly transformed.

Ning Xiao Miao didn’t hide anything, describing how he felt like things were going to grow on the top of his head and his tail.

He was young and couldn’t figure it out, but Ning Yunyi guessed roughly what it was after a little thought.

There was discomfort yesterday, but it wasn’t severe. Today’s sudden transformation meant it was serious.

In other words… these few days were likely the time when half-beasts easily lost control of their beast forms.

Ning Yunyi stroked his chin in thought. This situation couldn’t have appeared suddenly; there must be a transition. The only excessive thing he did yesterday was trying to give the cub some nourishment.

Which meant… not only could he not give nourishment these next few days, but the diet also needed to be lighter?

Ning Yunyi feared Ning Xiao Miao would transform again, so after asking, he simply let him stay transformed. Then he opened the contact information for City Lord Bai that he had added before leaving. Under the guise of asking about Young Master Bai’s condition, he probed for information, and sure enough, he got a positive answer.

In these few days, half-beasts had unstable beast forms and would experience a sense of dislocation. When in beast form, they would feel that their beast features were disappearing, creating the illusion of recovering human form.

When in human form, they would think they were growing extra features from their beast body, like tails, beast ears, or wings.

After clarifying this, Ning Yunyi decided to eat… vegetarian for a few days starting today.

When Big Cat and Little Cat found out, they felt the sky was falling.

A full vegetarian banquet?

For them, who had just eaten Cumin Lamb and were craving it, this was too cruel, wasn’t it?

Ning Yunyi smiled, kindly patting each head in turn. “Don’t worry, it’s not fully vegetarian. How could Father be so cruel? I’ll add a Steamed Sea Bass.”

The little cat squatted on Big Cat’s head, wilting again. Paji, it flopped on top, biting its little paw and agreeing with tears in its eyes.

Since Father was doing this, there must be a reason.

Big Cat flicked its tail, understanding. It seemed its guess was right; Ning Yunyi was indeed one of their kind.

It was just strange that it couldn’t detect the aura of a kin on him, but similarly, it couldn’t sense that he was a healer either.

A kin with healing abilities… this was probably the first person in the interstellar.

No wonder the other party could suppress the riot in its body so quickly. It seemed he had dealt with it countless times on himself to be this relaxed.

During the noon livestream, not only were the big and small cats listless, but the people in the livestream room were also confused: Holy crap, what’s wrong with the anchor? We’re used to seeing big fish and meat every day. Suddenly becoming so bland, we’re actually… not used to it?

This was only upon seeing the Steamed Sea Bass. But when the Pork Stew with Vermicelli came out—colors plain but looking mouth-watering…

The livestream room collectively inhaled. W-what is this?

Those long, transparent, slippery strands soaked in broth, finally garnished with green onions… just looking at it, one could imagine how fragrant it must be.

When the three large bowls of Chicken Soup Wontons finally came out, amidst the rising steam, looking at the plump little wontons rolling in the soup bowl, one could almost see the meat color inside every thin dough skin.

Since Ning Yunyi intended to be a bit more vegetarian, he finally made a large bowl of Broccoli Stir-fried with Carrots.

The colors were vibrant, but as for the taste… it was simply seasoned with salt and oil.

Simple. As plain as it could get.

Even so, the crowd in the livestream room was still wailing to be fed, full of anticipation.

After uploading, Ning Yunyi exited the livestream room and sent An Dong a portion with added spiritual power before quitting.

The two cats, who had been worried about whether “vegetarian” meant eating grass, pounced over when they smelled the aroma.

This time the door opened only a crack. Because Little Meow Cub was a small ball lying on Big Cat’s head, he saw very clearly.

He was finally attracted by the last plate of Broccoli Stir-fried with Carrots. The colors were so beautiful; it must be delicious!

Ning Yunyi called out to let Little Meow Cub transform back. He immediately whooshed out.

When the little cub came down, Ning Yunyi was already seated. Big Cat squatted beside him, its exclusive large basin in front of it.

Ning Yunyi placed the Chicken Soup Wontons in front of Ning Xiao Miao. This time, he specially used a new plate to divide the meal. Specifically, the little cub got one-third of the Broccoli Stir-fried with Carrots.

Two-thirds were poured directly into Big Cat’s basin.

The two looked forward to the delicious food that would make them swallow their tongues. Ning Xiao Miao stuck his fork into a piece of the most beautifully colored carrot.

He had eaten carrots in the rib soup before. The carrots, soft and soaked in meat broth, were exceptionally sweet and delicious, full of meaty flavor.

Thinking it would be the same this time, he took a big bite with an Ah-woo.

One bite, and it was crisp and raw. The taste… although it had a hint of sweetness, it was exceptionally strange.

Little Meow Cub’s expression changed. Not believing it, he took another bite: ??

The same scene happened to Big Cat. Its tongue rolled, taking two pieces directly. Crunch. Instantly doubting cat life.

Ning Yunyi’s mood became even more cheerful. He reminded them, “Don’t waste food. You have to finish it all.”

Big Cat and Little Meow Cub looked at each other, silently starting to eat the other food first, and finally struggling slowly… to finish the Broccoli Stir-fried with Carrots.

Father doing this… Mn, definitely has his reasons.

But they are both carrots; why is this carrot so different?

Watching the two reluctantly but obediently finish the carrots clean, Ning Yunyi was satisfied.

In the afternoon, he first took Little Meow Cub to the study to transmit some spiritual power. After confirming the little cub wouldn’t transform randomly anymore, he let the little guy continue cultivating.

He returned to his room, first pulled up his wristband to open a program. Before long, a small program appeared in the background of his wristband.

Ning Yunyi listened to the trial first. There were a total of four voices.

A deep, slightly hoarse middle-aged male voice; a gloomy, indifferent, somewhat deep youth voice; an innocent, crisp child’s voice; and finally, an aged, mysterious elderly voice.

Ning Yunyi selected the second one, the youth voice, which matched the age suggested by the hands he revealed in the livestream.

After getting ready, it was almost time for his appointment with An Dong.
