Part 5
The little boy immediately threw himself into his arms, choking back sobs. “Brother, you didn’t come back for so many days. I was so scared.” Scared that Brother, like Father, would go out and never come back.
Elias hugged his little brother, feeling sad too. He patted his shoulder, then suddenly remembered something. He lowered his head and acted mysterious. “You don’t know, but Big Brother met a very, very good boss. He gave me a job with a monthly salary of three thousand Star Coins. When the salary is paid next month, we can move out!”
“Really? Three thousand Star Coins, that’s a lot.” The little boy’s attention was indeed diverted. His eyes were red, his little nose twitching, his eyes wide open with pure joy.
Elias hugged him, proudly saying, “Would Big Brother lie to you? The boss even let me stay with his eldest nephew, the junior boss. I live with him in a huge castle… Not only that, do you know how fragrant my employee meals are?”

The little boy was shocked. One can get tired of eating meat? Brother’s boss is really, really good!

The little boy finally believed him. He carefully tasted another piece and refused to eat more.
Elias was also afraid his body couldn’t handle the sudden intake of good food since he hadn’t eaten it before.

Elias looked inside. “Benefactor… how has he been these past few days?”
The little boy shook his head. “He can only take one tube of nutrient solution a day.”
Elias carried the remaining braised pork into the inner room. Seeing the young man lying there pale and lifeless, he probed with his spiritual power and saw that only a tiny bit of the spiritual power he had last transferred remained in the other’s spiritual sea.
One more day, and it would have been too late.
Elias sat down on the side, not daring to delay. He held the other’s hand and began transferring spiritual power.

Elias looked at the braised pork beside him, unsure if the other could swallow it, but he had to try.

The red-eyed rabbit tried hard to hold the little milk rabbit, looking up with fierce red eyes, baring his teeth in a threat.
But his hissing was useless. He could only watch helplessly as he was trapped in the net and pulled up bit by bit.
Just as they were in despair, a loud boom came from behind, sounding like something collapsing.
The red-eyed rabbit’s expression changed drastically. He whipped his head around and saw that the sealed earthen wall had indeed fallen.
But in the next moment… a tall, thin, pitch-black figure slowly walked out from the cloud of dust like a ghost.
