Suddenly, his appearance clicked in her memory. In her recollection, he was Captain Luò from the last maritime drill. Mǐ Qiū wasn’t actually surprised to see him, because Officer Hè had mentioned that there would be acquaintances among the arriving guests. Although Mǐ Qiū wasn’t exactly close to him, they certainly knew each other. She just hadn’t expected to run into him in a place like this.
And to meet in such an incredibly awkward situation—it was truly strange enough…
So, Mǐ Qiū greeted him.
Luò Shǎng Qín said, “Guide Mǐ, I almost caught you! I didn’t expect it to be you.”
Mǐ Qiū replied, “Captain Luò, we meet again.”
“Why do you seem unhappy that I mentioned myself?”
Mǐ Qiū quickly shook her head and said to him, “Did I disturb you? While you were resting?”
Luò Shǎng Qín let out a soft “Oh” and said, “I’d only been asleep for about ten minutes. Usually, I’m a night owl, but I went to bed a bit earlier today. I didn’t expect Guide Mǐ to show up.”
Mǐ Qiū truly felt embarrassed. After apologizing, she hurriedly returned to her own villa, pulled up the covers, and had a good night’s sleep.
When the next day arrived, there weren’t three people outside the living room, but five. She wasn’t quite used to this sudden crowd. She grabbed a plate for herself and casually sat in a corner.
Fù Róngqīng looked at her and said, “Why doesn’t Guide Mǐ come over to eat?”
Mǐ Qiū: “There’s no room over there, I’ll just sit here.”
“There’s a spot in the middle. Guide Mǐ, come over.”

It was so good Mǐ Qiū couldn’t speak for a moment. After a while, she answered him, “Mhm, it’s super delicious. Everyone should have some more.”
Fù Róngqīng: “Guide Mǐ, don’t rush to conclusions. Try the pancake.”
Mǐ Qiū was skeptical. Could Fù Róngqīng have made this pancake? Mǐ Qiū had planned to taste it later, but she might as well try it now. Hmm? Wait!!

Officer Qiū, he also… But she already knew that this morning’s meal was made entirely by them. The five men had each made a dish.
Hè Chí: “This is all so that you, Guide Mǐ, could eat a good meal after coming back. Did you sleep well last night?”
Mǐ Qiū nodded. “Not bad. I came back late, but I got up a bit early.”
Zhù Shāngchén: “Go back to your room and nap in a bit. Now that you’re back here, you need to rest well.”
Mǐ Qiū had thought the same thing. Qiū Chú Huán smiled cheekily. “Guide Mǐ is quite good at handling interpersonal relationships. I’ve learned something new.”

There was no helping it. Mǐ Qiū still ate until her belly was round. When she went to find Sù Zé Chū, she went to his room.
Sù Zé Chū: “Have you already performed soothing? For one of them.”
How did he know? It was true, but that was because she had been forced to do so during the journey; whenever a situation arose, she had to act.
Mǐ Qiū reacted for a moment, then said to him, “Commander Fù… I helped soothe him twice. It was necessary.”
Sù Zé Chū: “Oh, I’m not blaming you! Mǐ Qiū, did you measure the values?”
Mǐ Qiū: “Mhm, I measured every time. It hovered around 5 or 6 basically. There was some effect.”

Looking at its belly, Mǐ Qiū inexplicably thought of herself, looked down, and instantly retracted her gaze.
Mǐ Qiū took Ruǎn Bái Bái back to her room. After she had thoroughly rested, she picked Ruǎn Bái Bái up again. Hadn’t Shěn Qīnghuái trained it well before?
